Hello. In this lesson,

I'm going to color two versions of

pastel and vivid tone.

I'll try different colors

and give you some tips on how to color each color.

Before I start,

I divided them into two groups

to fill in the outlines.

We'll start with the pastel tone.

We call soft and delicate colors a pastel tone,

so when you divide the color palette into four sections,

You can use the colors near white.

First, I'll pick a light sky blue and fill in the background.

This color is already a pretty pastel color,

but it has a very high saturation, so it looks vibrant.

If you lower the saturation a little,

Subtitled by -♪ online-courses.club ♪- We compress knowledge for you! https://t.me/joinchat/ailxpXoW3JVjYzQ1

it becomes a much calmer pastel color.

It's very subtle, but can you feel the difference?

Now, I'm going to fill in the other colors.

I'm going to use purple.

Again, let's use a color that's close to white,

but with a little lower saturation.

I'm going to use a big color to see the color scheme.

This time, I'm going to choose pink color,

and pink has a lot of different colors.

This pink has an orange, a warm, almost red-pink,

and the closer you get to purple, the colder it becomes.

I'm already using cold

colors such as sky blue and purple,

so I'll use a cold pink this time

and color it by adjusting the saturation.

I'll color the other areas so that the pink color spread evenly.

Next, I'll use yellow color.

Yellow might look cloudy

even if it's less saturated, and it might look messy,

so I recommend that you choose

yellow from the top of the box without desaturating it.

I spread the yellow around so that it spreads evenly.

Now, I'll use the green that I'm going to color the melon soda with.

Because green can easily look tacky,

so it's hard for many people to use.

Just like the green,

there's a cold green that's closer to mint,

and a warm green that's closer to yellow.

This time since there are a lot of cold colors,

we'll use a cold green closer to mint.

Next, we'll color the character parts.

The skin color range is so broad,

I painted it light pink.

Since there are a lot of cold colors around,

it looks orange,

so I'll change the color to a colder pink and paint it.

It looks more suits to the surroundings.

I colored her hair the yellow color I chose last time,

but it doesn't look right.

So I'll replace the yellow with a cold yellow

that's closer to the lemon color.

I filled in the rest of the empty areas.

I used a pastel color

palette that's cold,

so that it spreads evenly.

Now, I'm going to use a vivid color scheme,

which is a vibrant color.

If we used a pastel color that's closer to white,

this time, we will use a color that's closer to the primary color.

But if it's too near, it becomes fluorescent.

So we need to adjust it properly.

This time, I will use hot pink color as the main color.

If we use a strong color for the background, it'll be too much.

So let's color the background with a light color.

With the main color, let's color small areas.

For the vivid pink, try not to lower the saturation.

It's better to choose the top side of the color box and use it.

Even if the saturation drops, it looks cloudy.

Let's color here and there so that the colors spread evenly.

Next, we will use yellow color.

It won't be lower saturation but closer to the primary color,

just like the pastel color.

But I want to express the part of the ice cream

with vanilla ice cream,

so I'll make an exception and paint it light yellow.

Now, green.

Last time, it was near the mint green, but this time, I'll go with light green.

It will be fluorescent green if it is totally saturated,

and it's more like fluorescent pains for the eyes,

so I'll go a little lighter and lower the saturation.

The color doesn't stand out too much.

I'm going to choose a purple color.

Vivid purple should be used carefully.

If you use a brightly-saturated purple

color for a small area, there's nothing wrong with it,

but if you use a large area like this, it will stand out a lot.

That's why I deliberately

chose a light color when I use purple.

Because of the purple,

even if you use a white color like this, it still looks dense.

Let's fill in all the empty spaces.

Now, let's color the face of the character.

when I take the same color from the pastel tone version

it definitely looks white.

Because of the vivid colors in the background,

it doesn't look awkward

if I use a darker pink than last time.

I painted the rest.

Now, I'm done with the pastel and vibrant colors.

Based on this color scheme using the Clipping Group

I carefully colored the base.

Now, I'll show you the process of coloring in detail.

The vivid tones version is clearer and better visible,

so I will show you this version first.

The lips are boldly colored to suit the vivid color.

And I thought it'd be better to use glossy makeup this time,

so I added highlights to her eyeshadows and lips.

If you add dots

on the inside of the heart on your phone

and lower the opacity layer,

you can easily add glitter.

If you add a glossy white color on top,

you can make the heart look

three-dimensional.

Now, I'm going to color the melon soda.

First, smooth out the ice cream

as if it's mixed with the soda's color.

Then let's paint the outline of the glass white.

Boldly and widely express the light of the glass.

The ice creates a transparent image

by painting the outer edges white.

Subtitled by -♪ online-courses.club ♪- We compress knowledge for you! https://t.me/joinchat/ailxpXoW3JVjYzQ1

I'm going to paint the outline of the glass

with the yellowish-green color to give the glass texture.

In between ice cubes, add the yellow color of the ice cream.

Now, I'm going to draw the bubbles to express the sparkling.

The expression of the neon sign is simple.

Using a softly spread brush,

color each letter.

Next, paint the inside of the letter

with white or a lighter color.

Just like this, you can draw neon signs, simply.

I colored the rest of the parts properly.

I colored a pastel in the same way.

Now, it's time to add color to the lines.

I'm also going to blend the pastel lines with a very light color,

whereas vibrant colors,

I'm going to use a dark color that's closer to black,

and I'm going to show it to you quickly.

Just like I taught you in the previous chapter,

color the lines one by one.

For the light part of the melon soda, we're going to color the lines white

to make it shine even brighter.

I'll color the rest of the parts one by one.

Rather than using a soft brush,

I cleaned up the small parts by coloring them neatly.

I did the same for a pastel.

The colors are so delicate,

so the lines stand out a lot,

so I made sure to use lighter colors.

Now, we have two versions of the pastel and vivid tones.

I changed the direction of the character's eyes.

Between soft and delicate pastel shades

or vivid tone,

which color do you prefer more?

Let's pick a favorite tone

and use the tips you learned from this lesson to color.

This time, we used so many different colors at once.

To summarize the highlights,

separate warm and cool colors according

according to the overall drawing.

Don't desaturate the yellow

and choose it from the top of the color box.

Remember to use green and purple

in broad areas with caution.

No matter what tone you draw in the future,

you'll be able to color more beautifully and harmoniously.

In the next lesson,

With the drawing from this lesson, just like the sticker,

we'll apply them to various layouts.

So we'll see you in the next lesson!
