[man 1] What the [bleep] is that?
Wow!
As I was filming this, I was coming up
with explanations for what this could possibly be.
But I don't understand what it could have been.
-So weird. I mean, it is so weird. -[man 2] Yeah.
We went to an event to make contact with extraterrestrials.
There was many different moving lights coming in and out of that area.
I was like, what the F is that?
[man] What?
[cheering]
I saw things I couldn't explain happening in the sky.
What the [bleep]? Are you looking at the same thing?
My friends were freaking out with me.
-Oh [bleep]. Oh my God. -[screaming]
[woman] I see it again.
I see it. I see it.
[man] Oh my God. Holy [bleep]!
You gotta see this.
[narrator] Around the world, people are witnessing and capturing
unexplained phenomena every day.
There's a feeling you get.
The hairs on your arms and your neck kind of stand up.
[man] What the [bleep] is that?
There was a lot that pointed me in the direction of something non-human.
[woman] Oh, [bleep]. There it goes.
[man speaking]
[narrator] And they are looking for answers.
It left me with a lot of questions.
[narrator] The recent release of thousands of pages
of declassified US Government documents,
whistleblower testimony...
[CDR. Fravor] These objects had been observed for over two weeks,
coming down from over 80,000 ft.
[narrator] ...and shocking new evidence could hold the answer.
Can you confirm that's what it was?
Yes, that's what it was.
[narrator] Now, two expert investigators will use this new information
and their expertise to unlock the truth.
I'm experiencing chills over here.
[narrator] Mitch Horowitz is an author and historian
known for his investigative research
into the unexplained.
You all have had some very mysterious experiences.
The video is extremely compelling.
[narrator] And Chrissy Newton is a journalist
and authority on space, science,
and the unknown.
And we were told that this was a secret location?
Absolutely.
When I looked up, I saw a UFO in the sky.
[narrator] Thousands of experiencers
came forward and submitted their personal stories
and evidence for examination.
These beings were so so gloriously beautiful.
[narrator] Hoping to finally separate fact from fiction.
[Mitch] Based on everything you've brought to the table...
you witnessed a UFO.
[Mitch] The thing I love about Roswell
and The Variety is that you never know
who's gonna come walking through the door
and what their story is gonna be.
[Chrissy] Yeah. You never know.
We've had abductions.
We've had USOs.
We've had all different types of cases.
-Hey. -Hey, hey.
Welcome, Tim. Good to have you here.
Thank you. Thanks for having me.
[Mitch] Where is home? Where are you coming from?
I'm coming from Oregon.
Okay. We're gonna have some questions for you, of course.
And to kick things off, please tell us what transpired.
[Tim] My name is Tim Seanor.
I'm from Salem, Oregon, and I'm a filmmaker.
As a filmmaker, I go out in the field and document anything outside the mundane.
I've gone to hot spots all over the country in an RV
with all of my tech and gear, and sometimes I'm looking
for lights in the sky, but I'm hearing bumps in the woods.
You have to be prepared for anything.
On July 29th of 2023, my team and I were at Moon Lake in the Uinta Basin,
to investigate the area for a Bigfoot event.
My team and I decided to break off and go down to the lake
to capture some evidence of what we could see in the skies.
So we had been there for a while.
We had all of our gear set up.
We had Kraken radar, multi-spectrum camera and IR camera.
And then we started getting hits on some of our detectors.
One of these devices is called a muon detector,
and muons are little forms of energy.
And when we get extra hits of this, we consider that energy
that's coming from the phenomenon.
We were searching the skies and at around 1:00 am,
we captured something that I've never seen before.
We still don't know exactly what this is.
[man] Hey, you've got to see this.
You've got to see this.
You have got to see this.
All of a sudden, we detect a beam of light coming from the sky.
Now it was not visible to the naked eye.
It was only visible with the multi-spectrum camera.
It wasn't moving and it stayed static.
[man] It's so weird.
I mean, it is so weird.
I don't know what it is.
And it wasn't coming all the way, from the sky, all the way down,
like from space.
It seemed to be coming from maybe around
where you would see cloud and it was coming down
to about 200 feet off the ground.
[man] What the [bleep] is that? Wow.
[Tim] As I was filming this, I was coming up
with explanations for what this could possibly be.
I don't understand what it could have been.
[man] That is the weirdest thing I've ever seen, though.
My gosh, you guys.
If I found out today
that this video was of something mundane,
I would be in complete disbelief.
I've been chasing the phenomenon all of my life.
And hopefully we're able to get some answers.
It must have been a remarkable thing to witness.
-It was. -You captured very clear footage of it.
What is it you're hoping to gain from this exchange today?
I would like to find out exactly what it was,
because at this point I have nothing but more questions.
You came to the right place.
Chrissy and her team of researchers have
performed a full analysis of the video evidence
-that you sent in, and... -Excellent.
-[Mitch] ...I'm eager to hear what she found. -Me too. Excellent.
[narrator] Tim Seanor submitted a 43-minute long video of a vertical
light beam that he recorded with specialty cameras on July 19th, 2023.
The first thing we do is cross reference date, time and location
with ADS-B, satellite, ISS and lots of like rocket launch data to see
if we have any cross correlations of data.
We didn't find any comparable data as well.
That's definitely the same information I came up with
that there was no mundane explanation right off the bat from any existing data.
The other thing I look for is testimony.
How many people were with you?
So all six of our team members
that were there on location got a chance to view this.
And you were using night vision, right?
What type of night vision were you using?
-Multi spectrum camera-- -[Chrissy] Colored night vision?
Yeah. The color night vision is what we were able to capture it with.
Dave Mason is a satellite expert.
He does advance imaging, and he looked at this video
and said that the apparent colors may not be the actual colors.
Could it possibly turn into some kind of false coloring?
There's no way in really determining the color of...
of what we were actually filming because it is a color night vision
-optic system. -Right.
Dave does say that the laser in the video
was mostly visible when it was within the clouds.
The clouds comprising of water droplets,
refracts the laser light in 360° emissions.
We would see clouds pass through it, if you will, but the beam stayed firm.
So. Take a look at these.
What do you see here? Just so...
So these are the images that we took.
And this is an example of some LiDAR technology.
I'm imagining from Dave Mason.
Yeah.
[narrator] LiDAR is a technology that uses laser pulses
from a drone or other airborne system
to generate exact, three dimensional mapping of the Earth's surface.
After analyzing Tim's video,
Chrissy's team believes that he captured
a satellite LiDAR system flying over Utah.
It doesn't exactly match what I'm seeing in my video.
The contention I have here
is that satellite tracking moves.
Our film shows that the beam doesn't move at all for over 35 minutes.
This couldn't be any kind of satellite mapping.
You are an excellent witness.
You have solid tech. I would have to say,
you witnessed a...
I started to see just dots appearing.
[man] What?
I was like, what the F is that?
[Tim] We captured something that I've never seen before.
[man] You've got to see this.
Perhaps it was an alien craft
beaming something down.
[man] That is the weirdest thing I've ever seen, though.
Oh, my gosh, you guys!
I don't understand what it could have been.
The contention I have here
is that satellite tracking moves.
Our film shows that the beam doesn't move at all
for over 35 minutes.
[man] Hey, you've got to see this.
You gotta see this.
You have got to see this.
And this couldn't be any kind of satellite mapping.
[Chrissy] Dave Mason says here,
"There is no mystery to lasers apparently stopping at clouds
it's just optical physics."
So could you see it from the naked eye?
-No. -Okay, so only through night vision,
you can see that type of LiDAR laser
because it's in ultraviolet.
So that would explain why you couldn't see it visibly.
But you could see it through the lens.
-[Tim] Yeah. -[Chrissy] That makes sense.
So Dave Mason says that he's 99% sure that it's a satellite LiDAR laser.
Tim, the way I come to my conclusion is by looking at a variety of factors.
The history of the area, the nature of the witness,
whether the most mundane possibilities can be ruled out
and the Uinta Basin probably ranks just slightly behind Roswell
in terms of strange phenomena.
[narrator] The Uinta Basin in Utah,
where Tim's encounter was captured, has a reputation
of being a hotbed of paranormal activity,
with reports dating back decades of sightings and unexplained phenomena.
Local lore and Native American legends of Skinwalkers
has contributed to the basin's mystique,
drawing both enthusiasts and skeptics, to what has been dubbed UFO Alley.
You are an excellent witness.
You have solid tech.
You're a very ethical witness.
And based on having looked at imagery
from these kinds of satellites before,
Tim, I would have to say...
my judgment is...
you witnessed a topography satellite.
This is not a UFO.
If I had gotten confirmation from this team that this was something otherworldly,
that would have been a game changer for me.
It definitely tells me that I'm on the right track
and that I'm using the right technology
to potentially search for the phenomenon.
So today is not our day in terms of finding that golden piece of evidence.
No, not yet. Although this looks amazing,
-like it's really compelling-- -It's visually compelling.
Yeah, the video is extremely compelling.
We're gonna see more and more of these questions
even among experienced seekers like Tim.
Although I got an answer of "no" today,
I am definitely going to be continuing my endeavors.
And it's literally just going to be a matter of time
until somebody gets that video.
Hey, how's it going?
-Hey, how you doing? -Nice to meet you.
My never ending commitment
to exploring unknown phenomena is fueled by my passion for the truth.
I saw four figures.
All tall, humanoid, you know, And I freaked out, and I'm like,
it definitely wasn't human, and it definitely wasn't an animal.
But I don't know what I just saw.
I find myself telling people again and again, that whatever terms
we use, flying saucer, greys, these are all placeholders
for events that human beings have been recording
literally since there have been human beings.
You know, that light was so bright
that I couldn't tell anything around it.
But I could see the inside.
And it was, there was nothing in it.
You could see the inside?
Yeah, I could see the inside.
-Looked like it was a light on the inside. -Right.
All of these stories contain encounters
with strange beings, otherworldly phenomena.
Over the course of centuries, our language changes.
But our experiences remain constant.
I mean, just this huge bright white light.
Not making any sound.
It came down under the clouds.
I feel like I could have picked up a rock and just tossed it and hit it.
That's how low it went.
Somebody might have used the word goblin
in the 19th century, today we use the word Bigfoot.
Somebody might have described something
as a mysterious airship in the pre-industrial era,
today we use words like flying saucer.
Your grandfather records having witnessed foo fighters
in the Second World War, is that right?
Yeah, he was on a bomber crew one time and piloted it,
and a craft came directly at him and ended up on their wingtip.
Kind of mimicked him. Him and six of his crew, saw it.
Took pictures, were debriefed afterwards,
everything taken and told not to talk about it.
That's real history. That's real history.
We mustn't get confused or hung up
about what other terms are popular in this or that generation.
We're having a historical conversation,
and it's remarkably similar to some
of the mysteries that were plumbed by our most ancient ancestors.
Right here in Roswell.
-Right here in Roswell. -Who would have thunk it.
[Chrissy chuckles] Yeah.
I love the artwork in this place.
[Mitch] Yeah.
This is a great place.
It's untouched by any kind of marketing.
[Chrissy] Yeah. This is the hot spot.
-Hi. -[Mitch] How you doing?
[Chrissy] Welcome both.
Well, we're very grateful to have y'all here.
-Thank you. We're excited. -And let me give you an idea
of what we're gonna accomplish today.
We have your account, and the evidence that that you submitted,
but we wanted to ask you first,
tell us exactly what it was that you saw.
Well, we don't know exactly what it was,
but we can tell you that we had an incredible experience that night.
[Rachel] My name is Rachel Jameson.
[Michael] My name is Michael Sobolewski and I am Rachel's fiance.
We live together in Sedona, Arizona.
Our relationship began almost seven years ago.
And we started having experiences in Sedona,
seeing different types of UFOs and weird things in the sky.
This experience was not of this world.
Somehow I still get even more goosebumps,
and some part of me is just like still, I don't know.
We went to an event, which is kind of a meditational focused intention
to make contact with extraterrestrials.
Not long after, it was totally dark,
and we really kind of officially began the sighting period.
-[radio crackling] -[Michael] Mark the time.
[Rachel] Did you hear that?
[Michael] We started to see in a small section of the sky,
there was many different moving lights
coming in and out of that area.
I started to see just dots appearing.
And they were appearing, if you can imagine, at a 45° slant.
I was like, what the F is that?
Some other people turned around.
And then, what is that?
[man] What?
[indistinct shouting]
[Chrissy] What we found within that region
on the same date, time and location...
We came to the conclusion...
We went to an event, which is kind of a meditational focused intention
to make contact with extraterrestrials.
I started to see just dots appearing.
And they're appearing, if you can imagine, at a 45° slant.
I was like, what the F is that?
Some other people turned around.
And then, what is that?
[man] What?
[indistinct shouting]
[Michael] These were from the brightness of a satellite to the brightness of a star.
And some fluctuated.
Some you could see and then they would just disappear.
Some fade out.
Now, this is not real high on the sky
like the satellites.
-This is low. -[Rachel] It's low. This is in the atmosphere.
[Michael] This is like, plane height.
And so we're all cheering and we're watching them slowly move past us.
[man] That's insane.
There are so many.
[woman] They're fading out right up there at the end.
-[man] It's like one... -[woman] There they go.
[man counting] ...five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve, thirteen.
[indistinct chatter]
[Michael] And the craziest part about all of this
they don't fly off into the atmosphere,
they don't fly away.
They reached a certain point right in front of us,
and then, the lead one, if you will, just disappeared.
They just started disappearing one by one.
Whatever flew past us and disappeared in front of us
was just an unbelievable experience.
[Mitch] Thank you for sharing your evidence.
Chrissy has analyzed
the materials that you've submitted with other researchers.
What do you hope to gain from this exchange?
-We've done a lot, uh, research on our own. -Yeah.
-Definitely, yeah. -[Rachel] We hope to know the truth.
-We have to know what it was. Yeah. -We wanna know.
[narrator] Michael and Rachel submitted 36 seconds of video evidence
and photos for analysis
that were all captured at the site of their encounter
on May 27th, 2023, in Sedona, Arizona.
So the first thing I do when I'm talking to people
that have any form of alleged UAP experience
is to look at the date, time and location.
So, you know that Sedona has lots of sightings of UFOs, right?
Yeah. Rachel and I have had 20 or 30 experiences over the last seven years.
Things that we've seen in the sky that we can't explain.
And so, um, yeah, we're very aware of it.
The other thing I look for is if it was a mass sighting.
How many people in the group were with you?
We were, uh, with a group of strangers.
[Michael] I'd say 60 people.
[Chrissy] Okay.
We have your testimony.
Now, let me give you my analysis.
Awesome.
So, what we end up doing is looking at air traffic data and rocket launch data
to see if we can find any comparables in the area.
We check to see if what you saw
was either a plane or potentially, a rocket.
So, when we looked at the commercial aircraft date and time,
there wasn't any aircrafts in that area.
Sure. Yeah, it was pretty clear that it wasn't any of those things.
And then we also ran some tests on some satellite imaging
to see if anything was consistent in that area.
I'm gonna show you a few photos.
Is that similar to what you might have saw?
No, I would say that's way far away.
Something similar to this?
[tense music playing]
[Rachel] Mmm.
Some of 'em were similar,
as in like, I think some of 'em were of this shape.
But I don't think they were so exactly apart.
[Chrissy] It was closer to you, though?
-[Rachel] Uh-huh. -[Michael] Oh, yeah.
[Chrissy] What we found within that region
on the same date, time and location...
when checking all satellite databases,
we came to the conclusion
the video that you captured,
was from a May 19th Starlink launch.
[suspenseful music playing]
[narrator] Starlink is a satellite internet constellation
developed by SpaceX
comprised of thousands of small satellites orbiting the Earth.
These satellites move through the sky in synchronized formation,
constantly adjusting their position.
You're saying that...
-that what we were videotaping was Starlink? -Right. Right.
And what you're looking at is a train of satellites.
What we ended up doing was checking all of those satellite databases.
-And we noticed that a launch happened on May 19th 2023. -[Michael] Mmm.
Starlink ends up showing itself between nine to ten days at times.
-[Michael] Mmm. -[Chrissy] And so, we did this analysis.
Starlink was visible the same day and the same time
-and was over the same area that you were located. -[Michael] Oh, wow.
[Chrissy] And this matches with the video that you captured.
[suspenseful music playing]
Was there any information provided about how
the, um, lights of Starlink, that you say,
would have disappeared right in front of us?
They weren't disappearing.
Oh, they definitely disappeared in front of us.
That was one of the really interesting things we were hoping to have...
-[Rachel] For sure. -...information about.
We actually did a lot of research
-collectively about it. -[Rachel] For sure.
And that was what we all thought, it was Starlink.
You said they didn't disappear, but they did.
Right. And we all witnessed it.
They were there. It's recorded.
You can hear people shouting, "They're disappearing, they're disappearing."
They didn't fly away.
[suspenseful music playing]
Chrissy's analysis is impeccable.
I tend to look at these cases
as an aggregate, history, culture, analysis.
But just speaking in terms of the behavior of satellites,
when these satellites revolve,
they sometimes appear to vanish.
-[Michael] Sure. -[Mitch] Because they might have one surface
that's reflecting light from the sun and as they turn around,
that reflection gets lost.
That's what's happening.
I have to defer to the data.
[suspenseful music playing]
This is not a UFO.
We're certainly skeptical and, uh, we have our thoughts about what it was.
-And you're real skeptics because you question. -[Rachel] Thank you very much.
-Which is what a skeptic is supposed to do. -[Michael] Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
[Chrissy] Thank you very much, guys.
All right. Wish you all the best.
-[Mitch] Thank y'all. -[Chrissy] Bye.
[dramatic music playing]
We understand that we're not experts and we're not scientists.
That's the opinion of their experts.
But it was a little disappointing
that we didn't get more professional evaluation of our evidence.
This was a tough one for you because your data is hardcore.
I mean, you're basically saying, "Water is wet."
-[Chrissy] Yeah. -It's not an easy message to deliver,
but you did it with aplomb.
They felt that it maybe wasn't analyzed as thorough as they wanted it to be,
but I know the team, I know our analysts.
-They do an amazing job. -[softly] Yeah.
And I think that that satellite image spoke for itself.
I don't think it's Starlink.
Rachel's is always right.
[man] I look up.
That's when I saw it.
What the [bleep]?
Are you looking at the same thing?
My friends were freaking out with me.
Holy [bleep]!
-[person screaming] -[man] Oh, my God.
-Hey, how's it going, my man? -Hello, Mitch.
-[Chrissy] Hi. -Good to see you.
-How you doing? Mitch. -Nice to meet you, Mitch.
-Nice to meet you. -Nice to meet you, Chrissy.
-Hey. -Hey, hey. How's it going? I'm Mitch.
-Myra. Nice to meet you. -[Mitch] Mitch.
[Mitch] The evidence we receive here at The Variety
isn't always as simple as a photograph or a video.
-These are your renderings, correct? -[woman] Yes.
[Chrissy] Okay.
We received the paintings which are extraordinary.
Strange things have happened to me as long as I can remember.
My paintings are an abstract language
in order to communicate those experiences.
[Mitch] Once in a while, the evidence that comes in
is someone's interpretation of what happened,
through a painting or even journaling.
It wasn't till after he had passed that I opened my grandfather's journal
and realized he was having the thought projections,
the remote viewing, the visions. The same things that I do.
What you are providing goes to the very core of the UFO experience.
Thank you. All right.
I'm grateful for everything that happened
and being able to talk with other people who have had similar experiences
and let them know that they're not crazy.
-I set a very high bar for what crazy is. -[man] Yeah.
You guys are not it.
-Thanks for being here. I appreciate it. -Yeah. Thank you.
-Thank you. -Thank you.
[sci-fi music playing]
That's what artists do.
They show us maybe ourselves and who we are as humans
on a canvas or any form of art medium.
-Right on. -Beautiful. Yeah.
Well, our next case.
-[Chrissy] Yeah. -Yeah.
[suspenseful music playing]
-Well, this should be exciting. -I think so, Yeah.
I'm curious to see, like, the way that he expresses himself
when he's telling his story.
'Cause it's like a big tell.
Witness testimony is like really important.
-Hey. -[Mitch] Hey! My man.
Have a seat, please.
-Thank you. Thank you. -Welcome.
So, let me tell you what we're doing here today.
We already know some of the basics of your story,
but we wanna hear it directly from you,
be certain that there's nothing that we haven't missed.
Afterwards, we are going to turn it over to Chrissy
who has analyzed and consulted with, uh, research experts
on some of the data that you've submitted.
And that's gonna get us to some concrete answers for you.
Um, starting off, you know, please tell us what happened to you.
Where it was, when it was and what you witnessed.
Okay, so...
[clears throat then takes deep breath]
[Julian] My name is Julian Lucas.
I saw things I couldn't explain happening in the sky.
The day was June 23rd, 2022.
I was at a music festival in Bakersfield, California.
I was working with the event.
You know, once my shift was done,
I was like, "I'm out of here.
I need to let loose and have some fun with my friends."
Headed back to camp. Shower, changed.
Started having some drinks and planning out our evening.
What stages we were gonna go to. What artists we wanted to see.
It was 8:21 in the evening.
Just after dusk, the moon was out.
There were no clouds, either. It was a clear, beautiful night.
I look up.
-That's when I saw it. -[suspenseful music playing]
I saw this orange orb
flying in the sky at a very low orbit, but a high rate of speed.
It was, you know, a disc, bulging in the center.
And the entire outside was chrome.
[man] This is super unusual, right?
[Julian] My friends were freaking out with me.
We're all just... All at once just, "Oh!"
Holy [bleep]!
-[person screaming] -[man] Oh, my God.
[Julian] Our camp, next to the parking lot
was pretty busy.
And not only did the people who were with me see it,
you can hear other people.
-[Julian] What the [bleep]? -[person] Oh!
[man 2] Ah!
[Julian] Are you looking at the same thing?
The lights on the craft started to flicker.
The lights are, you know, kind of flickering and dimming.
-Look at it. It's dimming, it's dimming. -[woman] Yeah. Oh!
[Julian] Until it just...
vanished.
It's gone.
It's gone.
I'm not entirely sure what I saw that night.
But I do know that I witnessed something extraordinary, unusual.
And hopefully today I can get some answers.
Julian, you bring a lot to the table with regard to this sighting.
-You captured evidence on video. -[Chrissy] Mmm-hmm.
And you have a large group of witnesses that saw this with you.
That alone would tell us that this is not just some flight of imagination.
What do you want in terms of your account?
Some deeper truths about what we witnessed that night.
I'm not exactly sure what it was.
You know, I've always had questions and, you know, a few doubts.
I consider myself a pretty calm and rational person.
I wanna deal with facts and hard evidence,
you know, and that's why I'm glad I have the video,
'cause the video speaks for itself.
-You want answers in the broadest sense. -[Julian] Yeah.
Well, Chrissy has reviewed your evidence
and I want to turn it over to her
and see what findings she has to report.
[Julian] Are you looking at the same thing?
[narrator] Julian submitted a 23-second long video
of an object moving across the sky
that he filmed in Bakersfield, California, on June 3rd, 2022.
So one of the first things we do is we look at video and photo.
So, we have cellphone video.
[suspenseful music playing]
When we did the video analysis,
we determined that it wasn't faked
or it wasn't manipulated in any way.
And then we get into date, time and location and we have that.
So, we look at ADS-B.
It's a data site that we end up going where we can track
different types of planes, drones.
So we know where everything's going when it comes to flight patterns in the sky.
So, we did check that
and...
[suspenseful music playing]
...we didn't find anything.
Wow. Okay.
After reviewing ADS-B,
we do look at then, different satellite patterns, too.
And...
[suspenseful music playing]
...we didn't find anything.
[inhales] Well, that's not surprising.
It definitely wasn't a satellite, way too low.
Way too close to the ground.
But...
[suspenseful music playing]
Your story had a lot of solidity to it.
I believe...
You never know what a Friday night
at The Variety Bar and Lounge will produce.
This joint is called The Variety
because of the variety of people
who come and go through its doors.
It seems like everyone who walks through these doors
either has their own UFO story
or is tied to the events of history that made Roswell famous.
I mean, your family was present for a piece of history,
-whatever happened that day. -Yeah. Yeah.
It's unbelievable.
You have approximately the greatest job in history.
You could say that. Uh, UAP reporter for the Roswell Daily Record.
This is a place of people talking openly
about the stories that have made Roswell
into the central hub of the era.
It was 8:21 in the evening.
I look up.
That's when I saw it.
What the [bleep]?
I saw this orange orb flying in the sky
at a very low orbit, but a high rate of speed.
Holy [bleep]!
-[person screaming] -[man] Oh, my God.
And hopefully today I can get some answers.
Because of the orange color,
it could potentially be...
[suspenseful music playing]
...the ISS.
[narrator] The International Space Station
is the third brightest object in the sky, due to its massive size.
Most large satellites are about the size of a school bus,
while the ISS is larger than an American football field.
Due to its far distance from Earth, the ISS is bathed in sunlight,
which reflects off its enormous solar panel wings,
making it clearly stand out in the night sky.
The solar panels are mounted on brown colored film
and when the sunlight reflects off of them, they appear orange.
And that often causes the station to be misidentified as a UFO.
And it did fly over the music festival.
Mmm.
Okay.
But...
[suspenseful music playing]
...it was an hour after your sighting.
Okay.
I'm glad we can check that box off.
That means that I definitely didn't shoot the ISS.
Right.
I've seen the ISS. It passes over my mom's house in orbit in Ohio, so...
I mean, she gets all excited.
She's like, "Let's go outside, watch the satellite."
And it's, you know, just a little dot.
Like, "Cool, Mom. Can we go back inside now?"
-[chuckles] -Yeah, it's awesome.
And that's also something that you can track.
So, I wanna show you something.
[suspenseful music building]
[Chrissy] What do you think this is?
Uh, looks a lot like what I shot that night.
-I mean, you got the orange orb and... -[Chrissy] Yep.
[Julian] That's what I shot.
-The one on the top right, that we're saying? -[Julian] Yeah.
-This one. Like, this one. -[Chrissy] The top left for you. Okay.
That's it.
All of these photos,
these are what people reported the same night in the same location...
[dramatic music playing]
[Chrissy] ...that you saw your sighting.
Ohhh! Just got chills.
[Mitch] I'll jump in.
[suspenseful music playing]
[Mitch] I've always felt, Julian, that your story
had a lot of solidity to it.
Not only have you checked off a number of the boxes,
you had the presence of mind to gather evidence.
You had lots of witnesses.
Chrissy's analysis found no other objects at that time.
There was no identifiable air traffic.
I believe...
[suspenseful music playing]
...you witnessed a UFO.
[exhales in relief]
Wow. I don't know what to say. I mean, thank you.
I feel relieved to know that, you know, maybe I'm not as crazy as I think I am.
Words can't describe that confirmation, you know, for me.
Not only have you contributed to our research,
but you have also contributed to the effort
to find the truth for everyone out there who's had these experiences.
Absolutely.
I will always fight to find the truth.
As a friend of mine says,
"Keep punching and don't let the cynics take anything from you."
-[Chrissy] Yeah. -[Mitch] Yeah.
Absolutely. Thank you.
-[Mitch] Thank you. Great to have you, my man. -Your friends a wise person.
-Yeah. Thank you both so much. -All right.
-Thank you. -Okay.
[Julian] I know what I saw that night.
My friends know what they saw that night.
It is a bulletproof case now.
The truth is unshakable. It's undeniable.
These sightings, these experiences, they changed me.
I think I am a better person
and I think I am a more interesting person because it happened.
-I'm digging it here. -Oh, my gosh.
-Stories are amazing, climate is amazing. -They are amazing.
-Yeah, now we have to-- Right? -History is amazing.
I was filming these two bright, gold colored objects,
and then, uh, something gets ejected out of one of 'em.
[suspenseful music playing]
I couldn't say for a fact, but it could be something...
extraterrestrial.
I looked down and the gauge went up.
I said, "Bro, come check this out. We got a signal of something."
[man] And what we pulled out of the ground
was not at all where it should have been.
[suspenseful music playing]
I want to know if this piece of metal is actually from outer space.
[man] Halt. You are right on the edge but it is fading away.
The team, when they went to the area where this cube or box was formed,
they completely disappeared off our thermal.
Did they just disappear?
It's almost like there were two realities.
There was a reality of the meadow
that we were used to seeing every day.
And then there was the reality of the meadow that they had stepped into.
That was quite amazing.
