JON: Michael and Tyson took aim for their second win.

JON: Double Trouble, Lauren and Nicole,
scored an Express Pass.
LAUREN: Maybe utilize this to get a win.
JON: But couldn't shake their second place curse.

KEVIN: These people wanted us out of here.

JON: And while the U-Turned teams

And now we're halfway through the race and,
when you're at the halfway point of a marathon,
you are feeling your best.
So, we know we can go from the back
all the way to the front.

KEVIN: Oh, Julia and Olivia just showed up.
You want to go talk to our best friends?

When they touch down, they'll make their way to

"It's time for a Switchback."
JON: The Switchback is a throwback to a classic
challenge from The Amazing Race Canada archives.
In Season One, we saw Hal and Joanne.
-Come on, big boy. -I can't do it alone.
JON: And Brett and Holly searching through lentils
for hours...
under the hot, prairie sun.
[Thud & crying]
HOLLY: I can't dig in this bin anymore.
BRETT: We'll take a penalty.
We're gonna forfeit the challenge.
-Good luck. -Thanks.
JON: And now, in our first Switchback ever,
teams will complete the same challenge, but this time,
we're losing the lentils and going gluten-free...
with oats.
Each team will choose one of these grain hoppers
filled with 15 metric tons of oats.
They will need to search both sides of the trailer
to find this waffle
to secure their breakfast reservation.
LAUREN: Alright, where do we climb up, here?
NICOLE: Yeah. LAUREN: Go up?
NICOLE: Yeah, go in.
Oh my god. So much oats in here.
Searching for a needle in a haystack.
TYSON: All these grains together are super heavy.
It's definitely a killer workout in the forearms.

they finished the previous challenge.
And teams will have the choice to devour

One lucky team will win the Assist by Desjardins,
giving them a little extra help in completing this challenge.

the home of the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
In this Road Block, one racer
will need to memorize 12 different football plays.
When ready, they'll take to the field and join the team
to execute one of 12 plays
called by the coach.

PLAYER: 27!
JON: Once they successfully run the correct play
and score a touchdown...
[Cheering]
They'll receive their next clue.
AMARI: I guess I do. MICHAEL: Okay.

from coast to coast to coast and around the world.

For 35 years, Kids Help Phone
has been Canada's only free 24/7
E-mental health service supporting young kids
all across the country.
When they arrive at Millennium Park,
teams will need to unlock a box using a series of numbers
they've encountered on this leg of the race.
Once unlocked, they'll find pieces of a puzzle that will
reveal the Kids Help Phone text number:
6-8-6-8-6-8.
Once teams have assembled the puzzle,
they'll receive their next clue.

the memorization is gonna be tough for me.
