I've noticed a lot of crabs coming in

in these tide pools here,

these small estuary tide pools.

It's just so much food right now.

So I'm just trying to be really careful trying to scan

because they'll bury themselves.

But you can see the shape of the crab or the flounder.

[Patrick] You guys ready? I'm going to flow them on shore.

It's day 10, and here we are.

That's me stuck in between Bulent and Na'im's

[bleep] over the fire.

I'm at this point really [bleep] over it.

The log has to go between my face and your feet.

It can't go that way, and it didn't work going this way.

Those are the only words that came out of my mouth.

This is like hilarious lack of, uh, cooperation, man.

to discuss that in a, like, empathetic place.

That's just not the situation anymore.

about what people have to say.

This morning, my knee is still really painful.

I'm trying to kind of take it easy right now.

Hopefully, that helps alleviate things.

on Justin's shoulders.

And I don't love that.

So if I go down, the team goes down right now.

This is a bitch, walking back with, like, slippery rocks.

I'm definitely getting some déjà vu

from my last challenge.

I had to do everything.

I feel like I really carried her for the 16 days.

But on this challenge, uh, it's a different ball game

because Rachel's legitimately hurt.

And despite everything that's being thrown at her right now,

she's still trying to help me out here.

And because of that, I'm going to do everything I can

to keep her, uh, on this challenge.

[Patrick] So I'm hoping to get some sea urchins.

If I can find a little bit of protein to sustain us tonight,

that'll be big.

[narrator] Sea urchins have a hard shell

covered in sharp venomous spines to deter predators.

But the meat inside can provide 150 calories.

[Patrick] I got to be really careful

because there's a lot of waves crashing on these rocks,

and I don't want to get hurt.

I'm not sure if it's not low enough tide.

[bleep] A saltwater croc!

There's a crocodile swimming right out there.

It just dove down.

That thing is huge.

[narrator] Known as a fierce predator,

the saltwater crocodile overpowers its prey

with swimming speeds as fast as 20 miles per hour

and a bite force of almost 3,700 pounds per square inch.

[Patrick] I don't know where he is right now.

I think it's best to play it safe for now and go in.

This is definitely where that saltwater croc

has been climbing up onto the beach.

Look at the size of this thing.

Tails dragging.

This is his home before it was our home.

He's going to find out quick.

There's nothing about a apex predator

that can chomp freshwater crocodiles in half

Let me tell you, I catch gators.

I've messed with gators. It's a crocodile.

It's a whole different animal.

I'm a true tournament angler.

I've dealt with crocs before,

and I know these are not to be trifled with.

They're huge. They're aggressive.

That's not something you want to tamper with.

We want to avoid this at all cost.

I just think it's exciting because, like,

kill a saltwater croc in the wild,

be like, Crocodile Dundee.

Risk versus reward. Ah.

But we're not dying of starvation right now.

So for me, we have enough risks out here.

I don't think I need to go tango with a crocodile

to add to my list.

So I fear tomorrow may be worse.

causing extreme high and low tides,

The tide here is really kind of confusing.

sometimes it seems like it comes in in the afternoon.

I just sit around and watch it come in,

and hope I don't float away.

when a croc would come up or down that thing.

My main focus is hunting that crocodile.

And having all that meat, is gonna push us through to the finish.

So I'm kind of, in a panic right now.

We're high enough up.

[Heather] I don't believe that.

Because there's debris that's been pushed up all the way up there.

Which means the water level's gotten up there before.

[Patrick] I don't think it'll get high enough.

-Maybe not, but may be. -[Patrick] Hard to reach our shelter.

[Heather] The tide's coming up.

I am obviously concerned about the fire.

Took us seven days to get fire.

We should probably consider

what happens if we have to leave and relo.

I mean, this water's really high.

This could be very, very dangerous.

Wow, this is got a lot of force in it.

-Yeah. -And we saw this yesterday,

I think by the tomorrow, it's gonna get worse.

We really need to consider moving locations.

Or a thought about moving upward.

[Patrick] I think we're good.

We're talking this entire beach

will have to flood, before it got up to there.

You know what I'm saying?

[Andrew] But look at the difference just between yesterday and today.

And we don't know these tides.

[Heather] And you don't know if it hasn't ever got up there.

I mean, we just got here a few days ago.

Making this whole plan for nothing.

It's just frustrating.

So now, he thinks it's me pushing my idea.

Patrick gets very mad, like a little child,

[Bulent] First order of business is checking the traps.

versus bare-handed killer.

He keeps beating me at my own game.

I guess the problem is, every time he goes through it,

this just gets bigger and bigger.

Instead of getting smaller and smaller.

So the idea is to put it on top, the loop.

There's no quitting in my bucket.

Kerra and Na'im plan to follow the river downstream,

towards the western coast of the island.

But will need to reach the northern tip of the island

by day 21,

to attempt to be rescued.

[Kerra] Think we're gonna have to walk through this water.

[Na'im] It's tough, 'cause you can't really see what you're stepping on.

[Kerra] Yeah, I know.

The journey out is extremely hard.

Ooh, that's deep.

I don't like not knowing what's underneath my feet.

The terrain is really treacherous.

-Ow. -[bleep]

Looks like the pigs have sort of, dug us a game trail.

We can probably walk to the roots,

get out of the water here for a little while,

give our feet a break.

And hug that trail and keep on going.

The walk is trickier than I thought.

Uh, Kerra, she looks like she's just exhausted,

from a combination of the heat and the walk.

But it's just us two, and...

on my previous challenge,

I tapped early.

I'm so sorry to do this to you.

And I think about

the fact that I left my partner there, pretty much everyday.

That can't happen again.

So, I'm just here to support her at this point.
