TRAVIS: What the hell is that in the sky?
After five years of intense investigation
on Skinwalker Ranch...
The meter's going nuts.
...our team has documented
unbelievable phenomena
all across the mysterious 512-acre property.
Look at this. What the heck would have burned this post?
TRAVIS: At locations like the triangle...
Wow. Look at that.
TRAVIS: ...the mesa...
Popping smoke, popping smoke.
THOMAS: Look, look. It's getting sucked in.
TRAVIS: ...Homestead Two...
What I saw doesn't belong here.
-Hold on. -Hey.
TRAVIS: ...and more.
Right there.
We've experienced everything from UAPs,
freak energy spikes
and underground anomalies that have left us perplexed
as to what they are or where they came from.
THOMAS: Feel the difference.
TRAVIS: Oh, wow. It's freezing.
Tonight, we're looking back at compelling evidence
we've documented that suggests
all of these phenomena and hot spots...
Look at that.
TRAVIS: ...might be directly related.
-Oh. -Oh! Whoa. What was that?
TRAVIS: Between otherworldly legends
of local Native American tribes
and rumors about interdimensional gateways
reported by the Robert Bigelow investigation--
that was partially financed
by the federal government a couple decades ago--
our team is still trying to figure out the truth
behind all the phenomena that we've witnessed
on Skinwalker Ranch.
Look right here.
ERIK: This thing is really clipping along.
TRAVIS: All we know for sure is
that they are real, and they seem to appear...
BRANDON: Oh, my gosh.
TRAVIS: ...and disappear
without any conventional explanation.
-That's insane. -Yeah.
TRAVIS: And one of the hot spots that we've been focusing on
for several years to find some answers is simply known
as "the triangle."
All right.
Are you gonna be able to get the lidar drone up?
-Yup. -Let's go.
After documenting multiple UAPs
and energy signals there
between 5,000 and just 30 feet high...
Check that out, Erik. Real-time lidar point cloud.
...in 2022,
Jim Royston of OmniTeq flew an infrared lidar drone
just above the triangle while we launched a rocket.
We hoped that Jim would capture images
of anything invisible to the naked eye
that might explain the cause of the phenomena.
Hey, that's a beautiful launch.
We caught it. It was amazing.
-ERIK: You want to lead us into it? -ROYSTON: Absolutely.
TRAVIS: After he further processed the data,
we could hardly believe what we saw.
-What was that spot? -ROYSTON: For the last couple hours,
our team is trying to look at this and say,
"Okay, what would cause this void?"
TRAVIS: Can you zoom way out?
-Whoa. -ERIK: Look at that.
TRAVIS: It was a perfect circular anomaly
with a black void right in the center.
It's-it's a shadow of something.
What... what are we looking at?
-THOMAS: A black hole? (laughs) -Could be...
-I mean-- -TRAVIS: Well, that could be
a shadow of a wormhole.
Our speculation was only reinforced
when a follow-up lidar scan at the triangle
produced a three-dimensional doughnut-shaped ring
just above the ground.
For decades, many scientists have theorized that wormholes--
which are passageways
between two distant points in space and time--
could actually exist.
And the circular anomalies
that Jim captured on his lidar device appeared similar
in structure to a theoretical wormhole.
All right, Cameron, be advised we're ready to launch.
Are you in position?
TRAVIS: Later that year, Erik Bard
and Kaleb Bench flew above the triangle
with Brandon and Cameron Fugal in their helicopter
to scan the airspace with a spectrum analyzer
while we launched rockets from the ground.
Dude, that one went.
ERIK: I'm getting lots of noise in the RF spectrum.
It's as if there was, in fact,
some active interference taking place.
Perhaps even some kind of jamming.
TRAVIS: Right after Erik detected the radio frequency
interference on his spectrum analyzer,
Cameron-- who was wearing
military-grade night vision goggles--
saw what he described as a bunch
of orb-like UAPs flying past the chopper.
No one else could see them so it was anybody's guess
what they were or where they were coming from.
ERIK: I have some video footage taken
from the vantage point of the helicopter
that we all need to get eyes on,
and you'll see why.
TRAVIS: Yeah. I see the triangle off
-to the bottom left here, right? -ERIK: Yup.
BRYANT: Whoa.
-Oh. -TRAVIS: Behind the mesa.
-Where'd it go? -Where'd it go?
-Did it go right behind the mesa? -ERIK: Yes.
-TRAVIS: It did come out of the mesa. -BRYANT: Oh, my gosh.
-CAMERON: Came out of the mesa? -It did come out of the mesa.
It came right out of the mesa.
What?
Yeah.
TRAVIS: One of the incredible
Native American legends
we had heard was about UAPs
flying into and out of mesas.
And here, we captured images
of one entering the mesa in the east field,
then exiting the other side
and flying right toward the triangle.
Was this one of the UAPs that Cameron saw?
And also, how could it fly straight through solid rock?
Curiously, right where the UAP entered the mesa,
there is an ancient petroglyph
that reportedly depicts an interdimensional portal.
So, could there be some kind of portal-related connection
between the east field
and the triangle on Skinwalker Ranch?
Incredibly, that's just one of the possible explanations
that we've discovered during our investigation.
You're all good to go, huh?
Okay.
TRAVIS: One of the craziest rumors
about Skinwalker Ranch is that
some kind of secret base
or alien structure is buried underground.
So, in 2021,
after a former member of the Bigelow team told us about
an old cave entrance that was covered
by tons of boulders on the mesa,
we conducted a drilling operation to see
if anything of interest might be in there.
Hey, guys, come on down here.
That was quite the noise that was just making.
Yeah, I'm up against something pretty hard right now.
So, we're coming up about 11 inches every ten feet.
So, it sounds like you're describing
kind of a "V"
where this hard shelf is coming down,
and now you're saying that it's starting
to turn and go back up, so we've got kind of a...
a "V" that your bit is sitting there bumping up against.
May not even be a "V," it could even be maybe a dome.
TRAVIS: A massive dome-shaped obstruction
buried deep in the mesa that the drill couldn't penetrate?
If that wasn't strange enough,
when we searched through the drilling spoils,
we found a bunch of metal fragments.
And after testing them at the University of Utah,
they turned out to be composed
of the same kinds of materials
that NASA and SpaceX use
to protect the surfaces of spacecraft.
After two separate drilling operations were unsuccessful
in penetrating the bottom and top of the dome-shaped object,
in 2023 ground-penetrating radar expert
Jan Francke ran an extensive survey over the mesa
to get us better data on what could be buried in there.
JAN: Remember, this is not the shape of the object.
This is just what the radar sees.
Mm-hmm.
JAN: The main target is very, very clear.
But as we look at this,
there is an absolutely obvious target
that extends across this entire area.
Wow.
It looks a lot like you would think a debris field would be.
ERIK: Just think
about what circumstances would produce a debris field
inside of a mesa.
TRAVIS: Erik was right.
What could cause a debris field like that?
Especially given our own video
of a UAP passing through another section of the mesa
and flying toward the triangle.
Later that summer, we came up with a new strategy to find out.
The plan was to drill boreholes
on either side of the dome-shaped object
that would go all the way up through the top of the mesa.
Then we could insert scanning devices
to hopefully identify what all these anomalies are
and figure out how best to uncover them.
Boy, you can hear that below us, can't you?
Yeah.
Jared, do you got a copy? Are you going through
something real hard right now or what?
I'm into something fairly decently hard.
I'm only going about a foot a minute
at 12,000 pounds.
TRAVIS: At about 180 feet in,
the drill-- which should have been able
to cut through the rock like nothing--
hit something that seemed to not only slow the operation down
but might have caused some other really weird things to happen.
ERIK: What are you tuning into there, Travis?
TRAVIS: There's a signal at 1.6-ish.
All right, guys, the 1.6 measured by the Kraken is coming
right down the line from Homestead Two.
Right there.
TRAVIS: During many of our experiments at the triangle,
the east field and the mesa,
we've detected radio signals at 1.6 gigahertz.
And Erik and I believe that some of them may have been a form
of communication from an unknown source.
But it was eerie that Erik's Kraken antenna system
pinpointed this one several hundred yards away
at Homestead Two.
We've not only documented a lot of phenomena there--
including orb-like UAPs--
but past ranch investigators from the Bigelow team
have told us that they believed
there could actually be an interdimensional portal
in that area.
Holy crap.
It is right here.
It is coming from straight overhead.
When Kaleb and I got over there to see
if we could find the actual source of the signal,
we discovered that it was coming from directly overhead,
in the sky.
I want to put a rocket right here
and launch it right up through there.
So, with Dragon's help,
we launched a rocket to see if it would come into contact
with whatever might be up there.
We're launching in three, two, one.
TRAVIS: Boy, that one went straight up, didn't it?
The rocket shot up several hundred feet
without any kind of interference.
But then
one of the weirdest things we've ever seen happened.
KALEB: Almost looked like it stopped right there for a second.
-Dude, it looks like it's stuck there. Look. -KALEB: Yeah.
TRAVIS: Look, it's not moving at all.
-It's just sitting there. -KALEB: It stopped.
TRAVIS: The rocket froze midair
for several seconds as if something invisible
was holding onto it.
Could whatever was broadcasting
that 1.6 gigahertz signal
have somehow taken hold of the rocket?
And was it connected
to whatever is buried inside the mesa?
Another experiment that we conducted
at the triangle would offer a possible answer.
One that might be connected
to a lot of the phenomena we've experienced
all across the ranch.
PETE: There is an anomaly right at Homestead Two.
TRAVIS: It's coming up from that angle to some point above us.
Kind of looks about as high as the laser went.
And we've measured something nobody has ever seen before.
This is incredible.
operation continued in 2023... r mesg
Are you ready to make it bright again?
I am. Let's do it.
...we conducted another
multi-tech experiment at the triangle
to further investigate the anomalous zone between
the ground and nearly a mile high in the air.
-You ready to paint the ground, paint the sky? -Absolutely.
-You ready, Jim? -We're ready.
So, we got a lot to do, so I say we get to it.
The plan was for our friends
from a company named Nu-Salt Laser Light Shows
to set up a laser cannon that would shoot a single beam
up through the anomalous zone while we launched some rockets.
ROYSTON: Man, we got all kinds of TVs.
TRAVIS: Meanwhile, we would scan the entire area
from the ground to the sky surrounding the laser beam
with three different types of lidar devices.
One would be an aerial drone-based device
operated by Jim Royston.
Another was a terrestrial laser scanner
that Pete Kelsey set up on a tripod
in the triangle area.
And finally, Kaleb Bench was operating
a hand-held unit known as a SLAM scanner.
All three of these devices use infrared light
that can image things on the ground and in the air
that the naked eye might not be able to see.
Okay, Tim, you're ready to test.
Right. We're ready. Laser's coming on.
Laser's on.
TRAVIS: There you go.
Uh, guys.
We are hitting something with the laser. Y-Y'all, look.
We're hitting something.
You see the spot up there?
That-- it should just be a beam.
What are we hitting?
DON: I have no idea.
TRAVIS: The laser beam was clearly being cut off,
or absorbed, by something
about 2,000 feet in the sky.
Well, look at that.
So you guys are aware, just be advised
we have seen a 1.6...
TRAVIS: Then, just like what happened
during our drilling operation in the mesa,
Erik's Kraken system detected
a 1.6 gigahertz signal coming from Homestead Two.
And moments later, he saw a UAP
over the mesa on his infrared surveillance camera.
-THOMAS: Wow. -This is crazy.
It is not like an asteroid
or, I mean, a comet or a meteorite
-or anything like that. -ERIK: No. -No.
You know, looking at this has just made me
all the more curious
about SLAM scanning. Did anything happen
-with the lidar device? -Yep, and...
Well, I'll just show you.
TRAVIS: The next day,
after studying the shocking video of the UAP,
we couldn't wait to see what all the lidar data might show us.
PETE: So, this was Kaleb's path while walking with the lidar scanner.
A lidar scan can see fine details
that would be invisible to the naked eye aboveground,
but just wait.
-THOMAS: What? -PETE: That's impossible.
Lidar can't see through the ground.
-No. -Oh, my God.
The lidar somehow imaged a massive ring of data
beneath the triangle
that matched up perfectly with the two previous
circular anomalies that Jim Royston
had detected at the triangle.
Was this more evidence of a wormhole?
We don't know, but it was just the beginning
of what this experiment revealed.
PETE: This is one
of the terrestrial laser scans we did
from our perspective at the triangle.
The terrestrial laser scanner can see
farther and gather more points
per second than the SLAM scanner can.
We're looking at an anomaly out in the east field.
What in the actual crap?
That is insane.
PETE: I don't know what it is,
but there had to be something there
for the lidar to detect it.
Can you zoom out further?
Look at that.
Yeah, look at this. What?
Look at this smear all around.
It's like we're inside a cone of something.
Can you look up?
-It does go into a cone. -KALEB: Whoa.
-Look at that. -TRAVIS: I mean that is insane.
You're inside it. We're all inside it.
The terrestrial scanner imaged a massive cone-shaped anomaly.
It stretched all the way from Homestead Two,
where we detected the 1.6 gigahertz signal,
over to the east field canyon.
And what was really incredible
is, the apex was directly above the center of the triangle
at 2,000 feet.
The exact altitude where our laser beam
was cut off during the experiment.
Could this be what causes all the phenomena
at those three hot spots on Skinwalker Ranch?
We conducted another experiment to find out,
and, believe it or not, the results were even crazier.
-Drone going up, Pete. .
TRAVIS: After all the crazy phenomena
we documented across the ranch in 2023...
Okay, we're gonna get airborne.
...our final experiment of the year
truly left us wondering if these things are interconnected.
-TRAVIS (over walkie): Cameron, are you in place? -I am.
TRAVIS: The experiment involved multiple technologies,
including launching rockets...
There it goes. Rocket's up.
...a mobilized, ranch-wide lidar scan
that was also tracked by Cameron Fugal
-in the helicopter... -Go.
...and a hot-air balloon propane burner
that we used as a huge flamethrower
at the center of the triangle.
Three. Two. One. Stop.
The results were absolutely amazing...
-KALEB: Whoa, what was that? -BOBBY: I don't know.
Something just went right across the mesa like that.
...and affirming.
We once again detected the cone-shaped anomaly
stretching from Homestead Two,
through the triangle, and over to the east field.
And while we didn't see more data
related to ring-shaped anomalies at the triangle,
we did see those exact kind of phenomena in the east field.
PETE: So, have a look at this.
This is familiar but different this time.
Why are there data points underneath the surface?
PETE: Exactly. So, that is impossible.
Lidar can't see through the ground.
Oh, wow.
That is amazing.
I mean, the textbook definition of anomalous.
PETE: There's one more for me
to show that's kind of crazy.
You see these right here in the sky?
Oh, yeah.
That's looking back toward
the photogrammetry anomaly.
We obtained more possible evidence
of a massive column-shaped anomaly,
which we first documented back in 2021.
Whoa.
ERIK: Look at this structure.
This phantom structure that's sticking up in the sky.
That's nuts.
TRAVIS: Multiple UAPs also appeared in our specialized camera data,
which were maneuvering all around the helicopter.
-Isn't that bizarre? -Yeah.
TRAVIS: And finally, a mysterious light appeared
in Dry Gulch Creek,
which is located in the south field.
-TRAVIS: Oh. -BRYANT: What the hell?
TRAVIS: What could that be?
This wouldn't be my lights from the helicopter?
No, your spotlight was out well in front of the helicopter.
-CAMERON: Oh, yeah. Okay. -This is coming from directly below.
Why... why in the river? I mean, that's so bizarre.
THOMAS: Not just anywhere in the river,
but I think that this spot in the river
has special significance
based on our excursion down the river.
BRYANT: That wolf creature that was described
as a possibility of an ancient dire wolf.
That's not very far around the bend from there.
No, it's not.
TRAVIS: This is where
we recently discovered a dead creature
that, according to biologist Ben Woodruff...
BEN: The size fits into that hole perfectly.
...may have been a dire wolf.
-What? -You kidding me?
TRAVIS: A kind of predator which supposedly went extinct
about 10,000 years ago.
Everything I'm measuring, everything I'm looking at says
it looks like it has dire wolf in it or is a young dire wolf.
TRAVIS: The experiment gave us
more incredible data that suggests
all the phenomena we keep encountering on the ranch
may be connected to one another.
If that's the case, what is the cause?
All I know for sure is, we won't stop this investigation
until we know exactly what the secret of Skinwalker Ranch is.
