TRAVIS: There's something in the sky.

Our team has detected something really strange

on Skinwalker Ranch.

THOMAS: Wow.

TRAVIS: It may not only have destructive powers...

ERIK: Whoa. You can feel it.

...but it's also

invisible to the naked eye.

Oh!

Something literally split the flames in two.

It seems to occupy the airspace

above a location that we call the triangle.

BRYANT: Rocket's going up.

TRAVIS: So, tonight, we're looking back

at some of the best evidence

we've collected so far...

ERIK: What is that red circle?

...that just might explain what it really could be.

TRAVIS: It's a shadow of something.

-What-what are we looking at? -THOMAS: A black hole?

(laughs)

ERIK: The triangle

is an epicenter

of high activity, high strangeness.

It only stands to reason we got to follow up on that.

TRAVIS: As our team works to reveal the true secret

of a 512-acre property

in Northern Utah known as Skinwalker Ranch...

-THOMAS: Look, look, look, look. -ERIK: What is that?

THOMAS: It's a plane, I think.

It's gone.

TRAVIS: What the heck?

...one place that may

hold a key to the answer is the triangle,

and we've been working to figure it out

since the start of our investigation.

So, real quick, I'll show y'all what we're going to do.

Right now, I'm not sure when we're holding

these meters any particular way,

which direction the signal's coming from.

That's what these are for.

We put this in the can, turn it on...

-SEGALA: Right. -...that's going to allow us to

do directional measurements, and that will tell us

which direction the signal is coming from.

SEGALA: Oh, my God, that's huge.

There's a huge peak here right now, 900 megahertz.

In 2019,

we zeroed in on the triangle

as the source of mysterious energy signals

that were coming from nearly one mile up in the air.

All right, so,

that is our next measurement,

and the way we could do that is

we tether a weather balloon

and raise it up through that region

that has equipment on it.

We get it up there and see if we see something there.

Yeah. Yeah, that's awesome.

MATT: All right, so,

with this balloon, we should be able to

go to that altitude and measure with the TriField meters.

Nice.

With the help of aerospace engineer Dr. Matt Turner,

we launched a weather balloon

equipped with energy detection

and GPS devices

to pinpoint and identify

the source of the mysterious energy signals.

Okay.

(beeping)

Look how fast it's going.

Hey, I love how it's go--

And it's going right through the spot, too.

That is awesome.

THOMAS: Oh, that is perfect.

I say we pack up and go back,

try and track it on the Internet.

MATT: Sounds good.

MATT: What does it look like so far?

Yeah, so, um,

we've got a few good hits already.

TRAVIS: However, as we tracked the balloon

while it passed through the so-called "mile-high zone"

above the triangle from Erik Bard's control room...

It's not... This is not updating.

Something happened.

...it suddenly disappeared from the radar

and was never seen again.

All right, Cameron, what elevation

are you at at this present moment?

We're 5,000 feet above the surface.

I'm getting raw signal.

Come on.

CAMERON: All right, we're going to drop this

right over the triangle. Are you ready?

TRAVIS: In 2021, we made an even bolder attempt

to pinpoint and identify the mysterious anomaly

by dropping canisters that contained GPS devices

out of a helicopter straight down through

the mile-high zone.

Three, two, one, package away.

TRAVIS: Package away.

I have eyes on the package.

CAMERON: Excellent.

Okay, here comes the next drop.

Counting five,

four,

three, two, one.

Cargo away.

TRAVIS: I think there is a headwind aloft here,

Cameron. Is that right?

That is incorrect, we've actually got a tailwind

pushing us right now.

Wow, cause it looked like, uh,

it pulled the bottle behind us.

CAMERON: Yeah, that's strange.

TRAVIS: Incredibly, some of the canisters appeared to

bounce off of an invisible object midair between

the mile-high zone and several hundred feet above the triangle.

All right, we're going to drop this last bottle

right over the triangle. Are you ready?

Go ahead when you're ready.

All right, I'm dropping now.

CAMERON: Dropping now.

THOMAS: It's in the air.

-TRAVIS: They're going behind us. -CAMERON: It's moving backwards

-from where we're at. -TRAVIS: Yeah, yeah.

THOMAS: I lost it.

TRAVIS: Then something really unbelievable happened.

The final canister that was dropped

simply vanished a few hundred feet above the ground.

That left us wondering

if this invisible phenomenon

might actually change positions above the triangle.

That's interesting.

TRAVIS: Make sure it's off. Hang on.

-Are we good here? -Yeah, we're good.

-Lights on. -Lights on.

Hey, Erik, be advised...

...in about 15 seconds. Are you ready?

I'm ready. Go ahead.

TRAVIS: That idea

may have been confirmed in 2022

as we conducted a rocket experiment at the triangle.

Are you ready, Burdette?

-Yes, sir. -KALEB: Yeah, we're good to go.

That night, we may have finally captured a glimpse of it

just 31 feet in the air.

TRAVIS: Look at that.

There is literally something-- We may be looking at the anomaly

for the first time, guys.

BURDETTE: That's crazy.

pull in right in here. TRAVIS: t

Yeah, that'd be good. Yeah.

Let's load a rocket.

-Red one first? -TRAVIS: Yeah.

In 2022, our investigative team

planned a new strategy involving rocket launches

and a high-speed camera in the hopes of stimulating,

and then identifying,

the mysterious phenomenon

above the triangle on Skinwalker Ranch.

The rocket, it's ready to go.

-All right, um... -Are you good?

Yeah, it's on.

TRAVIS: Our plan was to launch rockets

up through the triangle where we've seen

numerous UAPs

and detected what we believe to be

some kind of anomaly

between 300 and 5,000 feet.

-Okay, it's on? -Yeah.

TRAVIS: While Burdette Anderson

photographed each launch

at a thousand frames per second.

Hey, Erik, do you copy?

All right, copy you.

TRAVIS: Erik was stationed in

the command center during the experiment

so he could monitor for

any strange energy spikes out at the triangle

and keep a close eye on the ranch surveillance cameras

pointed in this direction.

TRAVIS: All right, here we go, here we go.

-Okay, we're hot. -All right, everybody ready?

Is everybody ready?

Erik, be advised,

the rocket's hot. We're going hot now.

Copy you, Travis.

TRAVIS: All right, here we go, in three...

Three, two, one!

TRAVIS: Hey, did you see that?

It turned before it could get to wherever

-the anomaly is. -Yeah.

TRAVIS: Right after the first rocket launched,

I noticed that in midair,

it suddenly veered a little off course like it

ran into something invisible that deflected it.

So, I was really eager to

immediately launch another rocket

to see what would happen next.

All right.

Five, four,

three, two, one.

-THOMAS: That is cool. -TRAVIS: Oh, that one was awesome.

TRAVIS: The second rocket shot straight up

more than 1,000 feet with no sign

of any interference like the previous launch.

KALEB: Hey, we got a light

that's right there that's moving.

TRAVIS: Yeah! We got it! There it is, right there.

KALEB: That's not a plane.

TRAVIS: However, just a few seconds later,

an orb-like UAP appeared in the sky

right above us.

Ask Erik if he's got anything on the ADS-B.

TRAVIS: Erik, is there anything on the ADS-B?

In the control room, Erik Bard's

Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast system,

or ADS-B, tracks all commercial and government aircraft

in the skies within hundreds of miles of the property.

ERIK: You know, I get aircraft as far out as 130 miles.

There's nothing over us. There's nothing near us.

THOMAS: That's no satellite.

TRAVIS: Did it just-- It just vanished.

That thing stayed bright and just...

(exhales sharply) went away.

-I don't see it anymore. -THOMAS: Well, I think

we got to get that rocket up and see if

-we can make it, replicate it. -TRAVIS: Yep, I hear you.

One more sparky rocket.

We couldn't wait to see

if launching another rocket would stimulate

more phenomena or who knows what else.

All right.

Going in five,

four, three,

two, one.

Oh, we got a malfunction.

Everybody watch out.

THOMAS: Oh.

-Oh! -KALEB: Oh.

THOMAS: Oh, it's on fire.

TRAVIS: We got a fire! We got a fire!

After the third rocket exploded,

we immediately thought that it simply malfunctioned.

-KAELB: Hey, Travis. -Yeah?

We caught the malfunction on

-the high-speed. -Oh, really?

-Yeah. -TRAVIS: But then, we found out

that Burdette Anderson's high-speed camera

caught images of something

right where the rocket exploded above the triangle,

just 31 feet in the air above us.

There's something in the sky above the rocket right here.

KALEB: Yeah, look at that. Look at the light.

(laughs)

No way.

We may be looking at the anomaly for the first time, guys.

After four years

of investigating Skinwalker Ranch...

...our team finally captured

some kind of blob-like feature on a high-speed camera

that, literally, appeared out of nowhere

and seemed to cause the rocket to explode.

It was something that none of us could see with the naked eye.

That cloud remained intact, the whole thing.

This isn't an anomaly in the lens

because it didn't move.

TRAVIS: Could this be the phenomenon that causes

the energy spikes we've detected,

and is it related to the UAPs we've seen?

Are all of the phenomena that we've experienced as high

as 5,000 feet above the triangle related

to the so-called blob

that was imaged just 31 feet in the air?

If so, then what could it be?

It wasn't long before we discovered

a possible answer.

Does something that defies all scientific explanation

hover above the so-called triangle on Skinwalker Ranch?

All right, sounds good.

Let's reset for the flamethrower.

All right.

(engine starts)

TRAVIS: In 2022,

several weeks after our team obtained an image

of a cloudy, blob-like thing

just 31 feet in the air...

BURDETTE: That's 31 feet.

TRAVIS: ...we invited pyrotechnical specialist

Nathan Whitehead out to bombard that same area

with a flamethrower

while a high-speed camera recorded the experiment

at 5,000 frames per second.

So if something happens, hopefully, we're gonna catch it.

Well, if there was ever a circumstance

where this tech is gonna shine, this is it.

-Yeah. -BURDETTE: I'm ready.

I'm rolling and ready to trigger.

All right, Bryant. I'm gonna give you a countdown from five.

-On five. -Five.

I might have something

-that might look a little strange. -What? What?

Okay. Let me call the guys over and we'll take a look together.

TRAVIS: As the 2,000-degree flames shot into the 31-foot zone...

Look at this.

TRAVIS: ...directly above the center of the triangle...

Whoa!

...the high-speed camera captured

another inexplicable event.

Yeah, there's clearly some empty spots.

NATHAN: I'll tell you guys, we've, you know,

we've seen a lot of, a lot of footage

of our-our flame shooting out,

and it's not typical

that we have this separation.

TRAVIS: Yeah, it's like it's hitting something.

DON: Something that, it seems to be going around it.

TRAVIS: The flame was split into two by something

at that exact spot where we saw the blob appear.

Could this have been the same phenomenon?

If so,

why was it invisible during this experiment?

Check that out, Erik. Real-time lidar point cloud.

-ERIK: That is impressive. -TRAVIS: That's amazing.

To find out,

we quickly implemented a new strategy.

-You hot over there? -Yep.

We're hot there.

TRAVIS: Because launching rockets

above the triangle seemed to have triggered

the appearance of the so-called

blob anomaly earlier in the year,

we decided to repeat the exercise

to see if we could get the same result.

But, this time, we were simultaneously

scanning the triangle area with a drone-based lidar device,

which uses infrared light to capture images of things

that might not be visible to the naked eye.

Launch in five,

four, three, two, one.

-We got a good chute. -Ah, good chute!

Dude, that was a beautiful launch.

Unlike previous launches,

this rocket ascended straight up,

hundreds of feet,

without any apparent disruption.

We caught it. It was amazing.

Really?

But, according to the lidar,

instead of imaging the rocket's path,

something strange scattered all of the data points

above the triangle.

So I-I'll show you.

I thought we would see just a tight little line

going up as the rocket.

It dispersed all the points out really wide.

Meaning that the lidar points around it moved out of the way.

ROYSTON: Yeah.

What?

Do you know what elevation you were looking at

when you saw the dispersion?

Yeah, so we were seeing it probably about

20 feet off the top there.

-That would be about 30 feet above ground level. -ROYSTON: Maybe 30.

-Yeah. -Wow.

That is so in line with what we've seen.

Yeah. At 30 feet. At-at 30 feet, that's crazy.

We might really want to get back over there

to the command center and review the high-resolution lidar data.

Absolutely. Let's get over there and take a look at it.

-ERIK: All right. -ROYSTON: Yeah.

TRAVIS: After the experiment,

Jim Royston and his colleagues from OmniTeq spent several hours

processing their lidar data to a much higher resolution,

so we couldn't wait to see if that data would reveal

just what caused the anomaly that we witnessed

31 feet above the triangle.

-Here. -There we go.

THOMAS: Oh. Oh.

electronic warfare guy, looks at all kinds

of radar images, and everybody's

kind of scratching their head to say the least

What is this whole area?

-Yeah, what is that? -You got a perfect circle around it.

It's-it's a shadow of something.

What, what are we looking at?

Just what did the lidar data reveal at the triangle?

And how might it explain

all the phenomena that we've witnessed there?

The following year,

we would finally find a possible answer.

TRAVIS: In 2023,

our team continued investigating the triangle

on Skinwalker Ranch.

We documented a bunch of new phenomena

between the ground

and several thousand feet in the air.

I found something in here

I want to show you at about 8:56.

-KALEB: Oh, right there. -ERIK: Right there.

It's moving really fast, whatever it is.

-That's right over the triangle. -ERIK: Right.

TRAVIS: After seeing another UAP maneuvering

in the airspace above the triangle...

...lidar experts Jim Royston and Sam Deriso

conducted a new scan above the area

to see if they could identify a possible explanation.

ROYSTON (over radio): Erik, you copy?

Yeah, Jim. Go ahead.

ROYSTON: Hey, we've been out at the triangle,

TRAVIS: Holy crap!

What Jim and Sam documented

left Erik Bard and I in total disbelief.

-ROYSTON: This is my controller. -TRAVIS: For the lidar?

ROYSTON: Yes.

and pull out his cell phone,

it's what he's capturing this on.

So if you play this, that's right in the center,

right above the triangle.

at the different views you give us.

Wow.

Following Albert Einstein's research,

for the last century,

many scientists have theorized that wormholes,

which are passageways between two distant points

in space and time could actually exist.

And what Jim and Sam have captured on their lidar device

appears to have the very structure

of a theoretical traversable wormhole.

Could that be what exists above the triangle?

THOMAS: There's a long history of these stories

denoting some type of portal

here on Skinwalker Ranch.

So based on the evidence that we have,

I think we have to leave open the possibility

that some of these tales that we've heard

about this area and portals could be true.
