right here in the Metroplex.

There have already been several sightings

and reports of extensive twister damage

on the back edge of that storm system.

Here at KPBL, I'll be monitoring the situation

and bringing you the latest updates

on the progress of this dangerous storm system.

REPORTER 1 (on TV): Following a series of tornado touchdowns in Erath County,

the National Weather Service has just issued a tornado watch

for most of north-central Texas

and all of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

REPORTER 2: The twisters hit Maynard, Texas a few hours ago,

causing considerable damage

and three known deaths. Severe weather...

I think we're lookin' at a couple of rough days, folks.

(turns off TV)

Hey, one of our Junior Rangers left his asthma inhaler.
