So there's a specific set of skills that you have to have.

And then they get to a real porn set.

And then you get to a liver dialogue, know how to open the girl up, how to position,

how to position.

That's a big one.

So you went from that initial scene and then how did you migrate up into sort of more mainstream

So I asked the guy.

He ran a legitimate company down in San Diego.

Anyway, I just said, hey, you know, if I want to do this full-time, what do I do?

Are there more people I can work for?

Sure.

And he's like, hey, I know, in fact, I can't remember her name.

I haven't written down somewhere because I'm so forgetful.

But he's like, I have this girl's number.

She's huge in the industry.

Give her a call and she will tell you who to contact up in LA.

And that's exactly what I did.

So she gave me the name and number of a contact at VCA, Vivid, Wicked, and what was the other

one?

Metro.

And of course, from there, like it grew, like just more people find out.

One of the things that made you so special back in the day is there were not a plethora

of girls who were anal champs, but you came into the business and you liked it and you

were a champ already.

And I think that was how we met her.

We did an anal scene together.

In fact, I have to say most of my scenes were anal.

And I'm going to touch on another topic that was a real big one that made me kind of the

double penetration and stuff like that, or gang bangs, I didn't get paid anything extra.

I just did it because I liked it.

You get calls for the last minute replacements.

She's not showing up or, you know, she's an hour away.

Can you be here?

And I'm like, I've had a scene right now.

I'll be there in an hour.

Yeah.

Like that kind of stuff.

Um, it was fun time, so.

Those were the good old days, man.

I fondly remember, you know, I try to explain to the kids these days how different it was

back then when, you know, back then we started in an era where they made really big production.

So we made movies.

We started in an era when everything was a production and then Gonzo came along.

Yeah.

So you went from this, Matt, like I was on, I was on set 16 hours one time.

To read dialogue and then at some dipshit decided to film something different and change

something.

And so we had to, uh, 16 hours like we were sleeping all over couch.

Yes.

You know, and I try and try and tell the kids this because, you know, these days a lot of

the kids don't shoot on their phones.

I mean, no, we had quarter million dollar cameras, $50,000 lenses.

We were shooting the same kind of stuff that you would put Holly.

Oh, yeah, 1000%.

And then at some point you would get negative have sex, but all the dialogue was somehow

much more important than that.

Yeah.

And that funny.

Back when the directors thought they were really making a movie.

Yeah.

100% right.

Yeah.

So now things kind of more afraid we were just as touching like how things changed more

to Gonzo.

Yeah.

Right.

Yes.

And back then the internet was just burgeoning, right?

And so people were creating websites left to right.

You were the first people that got on board building a website.

Yeah.

Yeah.

And back when you had to download the picture, you didn't see it right away.

It just, yeah.

Yeah.

It's almost there.

Yeah.

Craziness.

Um, and so I think people were shooting porn left and right because they were just,

I mean, it was just everything was developing at that time.

So it was a great time to make money, you know?

It was just tons to make.

Work enough to take all the money that people wanted to give you.

Oh, I honestly, my holes could not have taken how much there was available.

Yeah.

Like I literally could not, I couldn't work more.

I worked as much as I possibly could and I worked every day all the time.

Like, you know, so it was a great time.

And then as things went into the internet market space, did things change for you?

Or did you notice that work increased because you started to fit certain genres that websites

were catering for?

So I missed a fairly pivotal time in the industry.

So I did my stint and I did see that, you know, from big productions to gonzo to websites.

And then, and then I stopped.

Oh, that's right.

So you got into music, which is another thing we have in common.

Yeah.

You released an album.

I took a break from porn.

I raised my daughter.

She was just at that time where she was...

You were born under years.

Yeah.

She was understanding stuff more than I wanted.

And I said, I need to take a break.

So I took a break.

Right.

I got into music.

Right.

I did an album.

I did loads of songs.

That was really good, by the way.

And then I worked with a producer.

I will say this, that the music industry...

Porn has it easy because you already have a market banking for it.

Music is so difficult, you have to have million dollar pockets that really, really, you know,

market your stuff.

You have to have a promotional machine behind the orange.

And then I said, well, fuck it, I'm coming back.

Now I say all of that because I missed that time when social media went from my space

to all of the new stuff.

I saw Instagram coming out.

And I might have reserved a name, but I was just so uninterested in that because...

Wasn't your focus anymore?

Well, it's not only my focus.

But I just come from a place where that kind of scared me because it's a big intrusion.

You no longer get to be private.

That just wasn't where I came from.

So I didn't really see that changeover.

I didn't see the takeover of browsers or Pornhub and all of that.

I got told all about it later on, which is it saddens me because there were some great

companies and some people I loved.

And I thought I was just going to come back and see all these people that I knew.

And I did see...

I mean, there are some, you know, Mike Wazer is one that is still chugging away.

Do you have any long term plans along those lines where you're going to build a similar

sort of, you know, farm type more rural substitution kind of thing.

I bought 196 acres in Tennessee.

And then you walk into another area and it's like Afghanistan or anything.

I'm on the Tennessee side.

The Kentucky side is really developed.

love to see it where it's a legitimate dock with like peers and you can have stores and
