[Oh! My Sweet Liar!]

[Episode 28]

It's your first night back home, but you don't want to stay with me.

Even Mei Xiang can't stand it.

All right. I'll stay with you.

None is as good as my husband.

Welcome home.

Easy.

Come on, be quick.

Madam asked us to remove out all these unlucky stuff.

And send them to Family Song together with Duke's letter.

Don't keep a single one.

You guys...

have to come back soon when you're done.

If I learn any of you gets a penny from Family Song...

Go!

Go! Bite it!.

Bite it!

Bite it!

Come on!

Bite it!

Go!

Go!

Bite it!

Bite it!

Go!

Oh, why did I lose again?

Well, it's not surprising.

I think you are dim-sighted.

You picked the weak cricket every time.

How could you win?

Big brother, you're a few years older than me.

And you said I'm dim-sighted.

You just got luck.

- Give me back my cricket. - Hey.

You're going to be a grandfather.

But you're acting like a child.

Didn't you agree to give it to me?

I'm gonna take it back.

Why do you change your mind?

No.

Father, uncle.

What are you doing here?

I need to tell you something I remembered.

What?

I found this map while I was looking for the letter.

Yun Iron Mineral Vein Map.

How did you get it?

Xiruo found four little figures of arhats when she's looking for the painting of arhats.

- Then... - Then she chipped them off.

And put them into the painting of arhats on the Treasury's wall.

So, you got this map.

How did you know?

Of course, I knew that.

It's a treasure handed down over generations from the head of our family.

Only when the head inherits the title,

can he be informed of the way to get this map.

How did you find it in advance?

I just got it by accident.

Please forgive me, father.

Forget it.

It'll be yours sooner or later.

Now that you got it in advance,

you must lock it up to keep it safe.

Remember, it's not just the mineral vein of Yun Iron,

but the foundation of our family.

I'll keep that in mind.

Lord, our men are all in Yunyao.

They're waiting for your order.

Good.

I've asked Dai Ruer to stay in Li's Manor to steal the map.

We must get Yun Iron Mineral Vein Map.

If Dai Ruer fails,

we can only stick to the plan.

You just get everything prepared.

- Go ahead. - Yes.

Who's this maidservant?

Who?

Dai Ruer.

Why are you here?

Where's Yun Iron Mineral Vein Map?

Give it to me.

You even learned to steal.

Where's it?

What? Do you want to fight with me?

Tell me where the map is.

Come on, you're pretty weak.

When I started fighting in the art pavilion,

you were embroidering at home

Let me go!

Go. Come with me to meet my mother.

No.

Cousin.

Madam, Duke said he didn't want to see this woman again.

He leaves you to decide how to deal with her.

At this point...

have you got anything else to say?

Madam, just say what you want to say.

After all, I'm the concubine of Mr. Song,

not a girl of the art pavilion.

I'm a respected lady.

Even if I make a fuss in Li's Manor,

what could you do to me?

You can only criticize me.

How dare you be this aggressive after a burglary?

Miss Dai, you're really respected.

What makes you think you can talk to me?

You're a lowly woman from the art pavilion.

Shut up!

Don't bother.

Throw her out!

Throw me out?

Aunt, you're so cruel.

I worked extremely hard to marry Hongbin.

I spared no effort in it.

But you'd rather accept a girl of the art pavilion than me.

You were willing to be deceived and led by her.

What's good about her?

Don't you understand that up to now?

Although she came from the art pavilion,

she has a good heart.

You've done so many villainous things.

But you're unrepentant.

You even asked us why we didn't accept you.

Yes.

I did many terrible things.

But didn't she do anything wrong?

She's done a lot of wrong things.

What makes her get away with that?

You're hopeless.

I'm hopeless?

What about you?

You accepted this woman.

The whole Yunyao will talk about you behind.

They'll laugh at Li Family for accepting a girl of the art pavilion.

All noble families will feel shameful to be associated with you.

I'll see how many good days you can enjoy.

Better enjoy it while you can.

Wanna slap me?

Do it.

I'm the concubine of Family Song.

You'll offend Family Song if you slap me.

I'll see if you dare slap me.

I don't have a daughter.

I treated you and your elder sister

like my daughters since you were kids.

After your elder sister died,

you were my favorite girl.

When you were a baby,

I held you.

I cared about you.

I watched you grow up.

But now,

why would you debase yourself like this?

You're unrepentant about what you did wrong.

You even fooled around with a filthy man like Song Zhi

to hurt your family.

You regard yourself as Song Zhi's concubine.

Don't you know what he thinks of you?

Tell me.

Why would you do that?

Why would I do that?

I want you to taste my pain.

I want you to be as unhappy as me.

Okay!

Fine!

From now on, you, Dai Ruer...

have no blood relations with Family Li.

Kick this woman out of here.

I don't want to hear any words from her again.

- Take her away. - Yes.

Don't bother.

I can go by myself.

Mother.

Mother.

[Wuxing Hotel]

Stop!

Who are you here to see?

I want to see Song Zhi.

He's staying here.

I want to meet him.

Who are you?

I'm his concubine.

He'll know if you tell him.

Come on, how could you be Mr. Song's concubine?

I don't believe it.

Go away!

Don't act crazy in my place.

I'll find him myself.

So, you didn't find the map.

And you failed to kill Xiong Xiruo and Li Hongbin.

Why would you come back, then?

Young master, please do me a favor.

I listened to you and stayed in Li's Manor to steal the map.

You must avenge me.

When you take me to Song's Manor,

I'll do whatever you want me to do.

And I'll give you whatever you want.

What else can you give me?

Yeah.

I even gave my virginity to you.

I have nothing more to give you.

Young master,

you once said you'd take me to Song's Manor

and take me as your concubine.

Do you forget it?

No.

How would I forget it?

That's good.

That's great.

By the way, young master,

I heard in Li's Manor that

they wanted to write a letter to tell Master Song about

you using Petaled Lotus to frame Family Li.

Send a letter?

Yes.

So you can't await your doom.

If you don't want it to reach Master Song,

people of Family Li should be killed.

Ruer, you're right.

- Guards. - Yes.

Pack up my stuff.

We're leaving.

Yes.

Come on, remove that.

And this.

Yes.

And that, be quick.

Come on.

Quickly.

Okay.

Go.

Hey, why don't you take my clothes?

Young master, it won't be long for me to pack up.

Young master, give me a second.

Young master.

Go away!

Young master, how should I leave here?

You?

I thought we were going back to Song's Manor.

What are you going to do there?

Young master, didn't you just say you remembered to take me to Song's Manor?

Sure, I remember. However...

I'm not planning to.

Young master, what do you mean?

Young master, your stuff is all packed.

Okay. Let's go.

Young master.

Please don't joke with me.

I'm afraid you're serious.

Young master, didn't you promise to take me as your concubine?

I'm begging you.

Take me.

Take me.

I'm the second young master of Family Song.

Why must I keep a lowly woman like you as my concubine?

Young master.

Go away!

Young master.

Young master.

Song Zhi.

Song Zhi.

You can't do that to me.

Song Zhi.

What did I do wrong?

I didn't do anything wrong.

I didn't.

What did I do wrong on earth?

What did I do wrong?

What did I do wrong?

Darling, you're so nice today.

Congratulations, Duke and Madam.

Congratulations, Duke and Madam.

[Li's Manor]

Madam.

Wait.

Duke.

It's not that cold yet.

Why do you give me a hand warmer?

Extend my greetings to mom when you see her.

I'm too busy with business these days to go with you.

I'll send her best gifts next time.

Don't forget to tell her what I said.

All right, I got it.

Why are you naggier than mom?

Because you're stupid.

I'm afraid you can't take care of yourself and our baby.

Go ahead.

Okay.

Well, it's so late.

Why hasn't she been here yet?

Mom, don't worry.

She'll be here sooner or later.

You know what, she's very blessed.

She's not that capable.

But she got through all kinds of difficulties.

It's great now.

Her life is so great and she becomes Duchess Lean,

which brings great benefits to us.

Mom, you used the wrong phrase.

Well, whatever, I'm blessed, right?

I found her.

I found she was different from other kids at that time.

I knew the white jade pendant on her was not from a common family.

I'm afraid you didn't know who owned it.

You're smart.

Is it her?

Yes.

Xiruo is back.

How do I look?

So beautiful.

Mom, Ning Xin, Xiao Wu.

My greetings, Duchess Lean.

Get up!

Why did you learn to do that?

You know what, I miss you so much.

I brought you a cart full of gifts.

It's too cold. Let's talk inside.

You know what? I'll show you my memorial.

- I'm a respected lady now. - Really?

Come on.

- Load everything off the cart. - Yes.

Be careful.

Mom, be careful.

Well, so nice.

This fabric will make nice clothes.

Yeah.

There are pigments and rice paper for Xiao Wu.

They're all of the finest quality.

I didn't use such good materials when I used to draw.

Where's Xiao Wu?

She's in the courtyard just now.

Now she's gone.

That girl is crazy about playing mahjong recently.

She went to the booth every day.

But she wouldn't come back until very late.

Well, do you think she's the same as you?

- Mom. - Isn't that your bad influence?

Mom, I haven't been here for a while, but you're scolding me.

Mom, the dinner is ready.

Dinner time.

Come on.

- Taste my new recipes. - Wow.

We got some good food.

You made the fish head soup again.

I know you like me best.

Mei Xiang.

- Make a pot of tea for us. - Yes.

Come on, let's get started.

- Thanks to you. - Taste this.

Thank you.

Take your time.

Eat more. You're skinny.

It's good.

- I miss it so much. - Taste this.

- Give me. - Eat more.

Don't grab it.

Try this.

Xiruo, come on, eat this.

You can't have it every day.

All right, mom.

Get back. It's too cold outside.

All right, go ahead.

- Be careful. Don't rush. - Okay.

- I'll go to see you in a few days. - Okay.

- Be filial to your parents-in-law when you get there. - I know.

Take it easy.

Be careful.

Take care.

Come back and see us often.

- Go back. - Take it easy.

Be careful.

It's too cold.

Take it easy.

- Mom, come to visit me. - I know.

Go.

Come on, let's go back.

Well, it's almost there.

Right.

How can you defeat me? Stop daydreaming.

- Mom, be careful. - I know.

Go!

Young Mistress.

What's wrong? Why so fast?

What happened?

What's going on?

Oh, no. Go!

Quick.

Go!

Madam.

Stop!

Stop!

Go!

Mei Xiang.

Stop!

What's going on?

Madam.

Yah!

Who are you?

Stop!

Go!

Go!

Stop!

Go!

Be careful with the fire and the candles.

It's dry and hot.

It's dry and hot.

Keep searching.

Stop!

Xiong Xiruo.

Madam.

Xiong Xiruo.

Madam.

Madam.

Madam.

[Jianzhang Hall]

Master.

You've been up all night.

You'll wear yourself out.

Go to have some sleep.

Xiruo hasn't been back all night and there's no news yet.

I can't sleep even if I want to.

Master, I went to ask Xiruo's mom.

She said Madam left last night.

- Did you scare her off? - No.

I didn't tell her Madam was kidnapped.

To save her from worrying.

You haven't found Xiruo yet?

What to do with it?

Xiruo is a weak girl and pregnant.

What to do?

I'll keep searching.

Bin.

Big brother.

Big brother, have some rest.

I'll find her.

I'm okay.

Duke, someone sent this to you outside just now.

[To Li Hongbin]

Before the sunset today,

redeem her with Yun Iron Mineral Vein Map in Xishan forest outside Yunyao.

Li Hongbin should take it there alone.

If you disobey,

Xiong Xiruo will be killed after the sunset.

- You're dismissed. - Yes.

What do you want?

Did you wear it since you were a kid?

It's my jade pendant.

Did you take me here just for it?

It has something to do with this jade pendant.

What do you mean?

Don't you want to know who you are?

Don't tell me...

you're my long lost elder brother.

It will disgust me.

In the third year of Qianhua Period,

the rebels started a riot when his Majesty was touring the south.

Princess Xinger who's with his Majesty got lost in the riot.

His Majesty issued an edict to look for her around the country.

The imperial edict stated the white jade pendant

could prove her Highness's identity.

Xiong Xiruo.

You're his Majesty's princess who got lost among the folk.

What?

Princess?

I'm afraid you didn't expect you were so noble.

If you're gonna kill me, do it.

Why do you tell me I'm a princess all of a sudden?

Nothing.

I just thought it's a pity.

Why did you become Li Hongbin's wife?

If I had met you earlier, I'd have had a beauty like you

and got a great credit for finding the lost princess.

Isn't it great?

You wish!

Even if I'm blind, I won't love a base man like you.

You can't say that definitively.

If you're willing to be my woman now,

it's not too late.

Song Zhi.

Do you think I would say yes as you tied me up?

I'm just kidding.

You're so tricky.

Even if you say yes now,

it doesn't mean you won't go back on your word

and rat me out to your emperor father.

How can I believe you?

Your Highness.

Do you mean you'll kill me, anyway, right?

Not really.

You better hope your good husband is affectionate to you.

If he can bring what I want here before the sunset,

I'll let you go.

I don't believe you.

How would you just let him go since you lured him here?

Xiong Xiruo.

I really want to take you away.

I'm not kidding.

Song Zhi.

You're such an extremely cruel and base man.

Father, there's no other choice.

Xiruo is our family.

Of course I'll save her,

even if I have to hand over Yun Iron Mineral Vein Map.

But Song Zhi asked you to go there alone.

He's not gonna let you get away with it.

What if you're in danger?

Bin.

You're the head of Family Li now.

And people of Yunyao rely on you.

If I can't even protect my wife and kid,

how can I be qualified to be the head of Family Li

and protect people of Yunyao?

- Bin. - Father.

It's a long way to Xishan.

It'll be too late if I don't get on the road soon.

That's outrageous!

I'll go to meet him.

I was killing men in battle before Song Zhi was born.

Madam.

- Mother. - Don't be impulsive.

Xiruo is my daughter-in-law. I'm her mother.

Now she's in danger, how could I stand aside?

I'm gonna take men to get in there.

If Song Zhi dares kill my daughter-in-law in front of me,

I'll kill him with my sword.

Mother.

- Madam. - Madam, don't act on impulse.

I started this.

I brought a killer into our house to get you into trouble.

If anybody's gotta go, it should be me.

I'm going too.

Let's go.

Don't make it more difficult.

Enough!

I'm the head of Family Li now.

I'll decide everything about our family.

I'll go to deal with what happened today alone.

No one can disobey.

Father, I know you love me.

But I'm not just your son,

but Xiruo's husband and my future kid's father.

I'm the head of our family.

I'll never let my family suffer any harm.

This is my responsibility.

I know you're with a gentle nature.

You hate to compete with others.

But I know if you were me,

you'd make the same decision as me.

Bin.

Don't mind the map.

Just get Xiruo back.

I know.

But I'll never...

let Song Zhi get the map.

Okay.

[Xiaofeng Courtyard]

[Yun Iron Mineral Vein Map]

Big brother.

Big brother.

Here's what you want.

Big brother, are you sure about this?

I have to.

[Yunyao]

Go back. I'll be okay.

Hongyu, take care of father and mother.

If I can't come back, you should be in charge of our family.

Go!

Let's go and see.

I'm worried about Hongbin.

Let's back him up there.

Hey! Are you going to disobey his orders?

I'll get the flogging. I've got used to it.

I'm his little uncle. He dares not flog me.

Don't look at me. I'm not part of Family Li.

I'm Xiong Xiruo's friend who grew up with her.

Of course I should try to save her.

It's none of his business.

I...

I'm thick-skinned.

It's okay to get the flogging.

Go.

It's precious.

I won't return it since you give it to me.

This bracelet is for my wife.

While you're my wife, you'd better wear it.

Xiong Xiruo,

let's be a real couple.

Okay?

Did they force you to marry Song Qin again?

No.

I'm falling in love with you, Xiong Xiruo.

Devil...

don't come to save me.
