EPISODE 08

Patrolling the streets and guarding the gates,

I thought the Jinyiwei's work would be more involved.

The Northern Division is busier,

but the Southern Division Office has a lot of free time.

It’s just guarding gates, patrolling streets, and doing some ceremonial work.

Then I want to go to the Southern Division.

Didn't you say you wanted to join the Tianji Division?

Even your uniform is from the Tianji Division.

I was wondering why my uniform is different from yours.

Speaking of which,

you should be more respectful to Captain Mu.

She’s the daughter of the Commander-in-Chief of the Jinyiwei.

Offending her will not end well.

I didn't expect Captain Mu to have such a background.

Of course!

Captain Fu is secretly protecting Captain Mu,

that's why he hasn't been promoted to Commander.

Damn!

I feel like a sheep walking into a tiger’s den.

What's wrong?

I think I see someone going over the wall.

I'll check it out.

How dare you break into Jinyiwei's property?

Shen Wen!

This feeling...

Is it Miss Luo?

Your nose is as sharp as a dog’s.

You are a wanted criminal,

how dare you come here?

I want to ask Mr. Shen why you are here.

Did you see my uniform?

I've been promoted and am prospering.

Someone Help!

Thief!

Someone help!

Thief!

I’ll settle the score with you later.

Captain Mu,

she’s a wanted criminal, Luo Qingning.

It looks like your old lover has come for a late-night rendezvous.

Damn it.

Sirs,

she’s a wanted criminal, Luo Qingning.

Desperate walking into a trap!

Be careful, she may try to lure you away,

or perhaps we should go after her?

It's not your place to tell us what to do.

But what he said makes sense.

Brother Yuan, you stay behind in charge,

and I'll go after her.

Wait!

I didn’t expect these thieves to be so rampant.

I’ll send someone to impose martial law immediately.

Did Captain Mu catch the culprit last night?

Get ready,

we’ll be leaving in four hours.

Yes, sir.

We're about to leave,

where's Zhi Zhi?

He was on watch until early morning

and went home to catch up on sleep.

He should be arriving soon.

You can go get him

to avoid being punished by Captain Mu again.

Yes, sir.

Brother Yuan, we're ready.

We can leave now.

Before leaving, check everything again.

Let's have a roll call before setting off.

Sure.

Siqing...

Brother Yuan?

Brother Yuan?

I'm fine.

Be careful on the way back to the capital.

The thieves are bold and rampant,

we can't be careless.

Uncle Fu,

let's go now.

Where's Shen Wen?

Coming! Coming!

How dare you be late?

Forgive me, madam!

Since everyone's here,

let's depart.

Anything else can wait.

Let's not waste more time.

Let's go.

After passing this border marker,

we'll be out of Qinan Province's jurisdiction.

After that, let's find a station to rest for a bit.

Yes, sir!

Enemy attack.

Don't let anyone escape,

chase them!

Kill them!

How dare they?

Get in formation,

then charge!

Everyone, attack

and leave their bodies here.

Seeking death?

Watch out!

Hurry, save her!

Commander Mu,

four of our men died in the line of duty,

and both Captain Mu and Shen Wen are missing.

What?

Search for them,

dead or alive!

What about the Beast Talisman?

I said search for them!

Yes, sir!

Liu Shang!

Here!

Get Qinan Province military personnel to assist us.

Take a tribute ship and rush back to the capital by river,

ensuring the safe return of the Beast Talisman to the capital.

Yes, sir!

Speak up!

Who sent you here?

Ma Pengguang?

There you are!

You brought a helper too.

Shen Wen,

why are you here?

We were attacked at the border marker,

and I was chased all the way here.

Why are you here?

I have a secret mission.

Can you hold them off?

Sure!

If you want to leave,

I have planted some explosives around here earlier.

Bull Beast Talisman!

Shen Zhi Zhi,

you're foiling our plans again.

Miss Luo,

why don't we turn hostility into friendship,

starting by helping me up?

No way!

This time, I made a great contribution.

I can't believe these Jingjiwei are so cunning.

The army is just a cover.

Shut your mouth if you don't want to die.

Why did Lady Qingning come here?

Didn't you go to catch that Commander-in-Chief Mu's daughter?

I hold some longstanding grudges with Shen Wen,

and I saw him running from afar,

so I couldn't help but chase after him.

Longstanding grudges?

Looking at that little Jingyiwei's delicate skin and tender flesh,

perhaps you are attracted to him?

Heh, him?

I have sent someone to notify Mr. Rang

that we have acquired the Beast Talisman,

so let us return to the sect first.

They're gone, right?

Why did she let me off?

Is she received the news about the Beast Talisman?

Then why didn't she catch and interrogate me?

And why did they say they wanted to capture Captain Mu?

Let's follow them first to see.

Why didn't Agu alert me?

Isn't it time for Agu to be fed?

Hey, you're on duty,

Agu!

It's hopeless!

I can only depend on myself to do this.

Mu Siqing,

they really have caught her.

Please be careful.

Lady Qingning wants her captured.

If anything goes wrong, you'll all be in trouble.

Those are Luo Qingning's men,

so if I follow them,

I should be able to find Luo Qingning.

Ouch! Pain! That's really painful!

Jingyiwei there!

What?

Little bastard, you...

Farewell!

Chase them!

This kid

can really run.

Keep chasing!

Hands off!

Watch out!
