to own a nursery?

Growing up,
we had this big backyard

and I got into gardening.

I loved taking care of plants

and watching them grow
and get bigger,

and I started working at
a nursery during the summers

and just soaked up
everything I could.

Majored in horticulture
in college,

came back here after I got out,

and when the owners
decided to sell,

I decided to buy.

And now I own a nursery.

kicking around from job to job,

well, then 9/11 happened.

And I felt it was my duty
