Final Episode

Shi Hyun.

Doctor's son.

Safari.

It's Jung Shi Hyun. He's Doctor's son.

I tried to kill him.

The man that made Kyung Mi smile.

I... and him... Doctor's Son, Jung Shi Hyun.

He's a cop.

What?

I saw him at the office. His certificate...

And badge.

Imagine how hard it must have been.

He had to live as Doctor's Son.

He had to live as Kyung Mi's murderer. He couldn't even say that it hurt.

- Soo Min. - You know.

I like Jung Shi Hyun.

So I'm going to make sure that he returns as a cop.

So I need your help.

Okay.

82708... There is no record of Jung Shi Hyun.

Who is Jung Shi Hyun?

- A friend. - A friend?

Why don't you ask him yourself?

He is an old friend. Then I heard that he became a cop.

Then he must be an undercover agent.

Did I do something?

What happened to Safari, Moon Duk Bae?

You were at the scene.

I didn't see him.

Safari, Moon Duk Bae, and Shim An Ju.

And there's Gyung Mi.

All of these cops died around you.

And you, Doctor's Son, Jung Shi Hyun.

You're also a cop.

Who sent you as an undercover agent?

I know that you grew up in the same orphanage as Gyung Mi.

Gyung Mi knew about you more than anyone.

Had she not died, I would have found out about you earlier.

Soo Min now knows who you are.

And someone tried to kill Soo Min just like he had killed Gyung Mi.

Who sent you as an undercover agent?

He killed Gyung Mi.

You already knew. Didn't you?

Who was it?

What will you do if I tell you?

I'm going to kill him myself.

Ji Hyung Min.

You just stay where you are.

Don't come over here.

I will do this.

Was it Director Min?

Was it?

- Inspector! - Yes?

- Can I talk to you? - Yes, sir.

Listen carefully to what I'm about to say.

We're going to investigate a highly ranked police officer starting today.

I know that it's dangerous.

That's why I feel bad for you. Tell me right now if you're going to step out.

Can you do this with me?

As long as you're in it.

I'm always on your side.

Thank you.

- Who is it? - It's Director Min.

What the hell have you been doing? Is it really over for us?

Soo.

I don't think we can win.

I'm asking you.

Whether it's China or Japan, leave.

You think we can just end this fight?

You can leave if you want to. I'm going to get to the end of this.

Soo.

We have been doing well.

We have been doing well under Halibut.

I got here because I trusted you.

We're almost there! It's over as soon as they have Cho! Do you know what that means?

We're going to take the whole half!

It was you who wanted that entire street for ourselves.

- You know I... - Jung Shi Hyun.

Let's do this! All the way!

I'm sorry.

What's wrong with you?

You want to leave?

Then leave alone.

I will let you go.

What are you doing?

I don't know what you're doing.

Are you just going to do nothing?

Are you going to let Doctor's Son and the Special Team to do whatever they want?

The Special Team will be useful when we're getting Doctor's Son.

Don't you know that Ji Hyung Min from the Special Team is targeting us with Doctor's Son?

Ji Hyung Min! He knows too much.

What do you think that means?

I take care of the police business.

It was your mistake for losing Doctor's Son every time.

Doctor's Son will show a lot of openings soon. I will make that happen.

Don't make a mistake when that happens.

There is something that you don't know.

The documents that Safari took.

It also includes the information about you.

Record of my money wires to you.

Hey.

What is it that you have for me? Give it to me now. I don't have time.

Hand her over to Doctor's Son.

I'm handing over classified police information to you, for your sake.

I hope you understand.

So don't think about doing this on your own.

- What is this? - It's what you see.

Yoon Soo Min.

She's an undercover agent that Ji Hyung Min planted to catch Doctor's Son.

I'm asking you, Jin Sook. Just stay away from her.

Don't get any wrong ideas.

I don't want to catch you with my own hands.

Hi, Jin Sook.

- Can you come over right now? - Okay, I will leave right now.

Okay.

Yeah, Jin Sook.

It's me. I'm outside right now. Don't come to the office.

You remember that cafe?

I'm over there. Go over there.

- Okay? - Okay.

Where is Lee Jin Sook! Where is she?

I don't know. I don't know anything.

Jin Sook!

Why didn't you tell them where I was?

I told you that I was at a cafe.

You could have told them.

How could I tell them?

If something happens to you...

I really liked you.

I always felt so bad.

Lying to you was the hardest part.

I'm really sorry.

Soo Min.

Did you know that Shi Hyun was Doctor's Son?

Yes.

You knew and you still loved him?

Yes.

Soo Min.

Let me ask you for one last favor.

Can you leave?

I don't want to ever see you again.

Sir!

- Sit down. - Yes, sir.

How is it these days?

How is Kim Hyun Soo doing?

You thought that I didn't know?

You don't need to get nervous.

I heard that he is a good agent.

Is he not?

Call Kim Hyun Soo and arrange a meeting.

What is going on? Why did you want to see me here?

He will be here soon. Just wait a little.

You bastard!

Take a seat first. I'm here to be your friend.

Sit down!

Nice to meet you, Kim Hyun Soo.

Kim Hyun Soo. The second man in the organization of Doctor's Son.

You're Jung Shi Hyun's best friend.

How long are you going to live as the second man?

- That's none of your business. - It is my business.

Let's cut to the chase.

Okay.

I heard that you wanted to know how I found out about Cho's narcotics factory.

Did you not?

Are you kidding me?

Your mother's name is Kim Soo Yeon.

She was a mistress of the deceased chairman of HI Construction.

She was blessed to be pregnant with you. She earned a lot of money and a building.

She wanders Europe with an Italian man right now.

Thanks to her, you have never met your biological father.

Just like Doctor's Son, Jung Shi Hyun.

How do you think I know about this? Only a friend would know.

I sent the undercover agent, Jung Shi Hyun.

He asked me to be kind to you, because he said that you were pitiful.

What do you want?

You have been lied to. Ever since the moment you met him in prison.

Shi Hyun went to the prison under my orders. He used you to get close to Halibut.

Shi Hyun hates drug organizations.

He wants to put all of them in jail, even you and Lee Jin Sook!

But why do you think you two have been safe?

Because I protected you.

I had protected you and Lee Jin Sook.

Get rid of Doctor's Son, and you take his place.

I will support you.

What?

Director Min had visited.

Let him in.

What brings you here now?

I was wondering how you dealt with Yoon Soo Min.

What do you really want?

Why did tell me that?

What are you planning?

You must also know what's between Yoon Soo Min and Jung Shi Hyun.

Yoon Soo Min knew that Shi Hyun was Doctor's Son, but she

still fell in love with him. Why do you think that was?

That's because she knew that Shi Hyun was also a cop.

What are you talking about?

Shi Hyun is a cop.

He was my undercover agent.

He wanted to get revenge on Safari for his mother. He asked me how he could become a cop.

So I let him become a cop.

If you can't believe it, go ask him yourself.

So don't stay with Shi Hyun from now on.

He will even destroy you.

Come here, my friend!

You are my real friend!

Soo! Is something wrong?

Something?

Yeah.

Something's wrong.

Take a seat. Let's drink.

The reason I told you to leave...

Shut your mouth.

Aren't you going to drink it?

Why did you come here if you weren't going to drink?

To handcuff me.

Police.

Wow! That's just great.

You look so cool.

Hyun Soo.

I heard that you were a real bastard cop.

And?

You tried to use me?

You deliberately got to me?

What are you talking about?

Shut your mouth!

Go.

Go!

If you don't go right now...

I think I'm going to kill you.

Yeah?

Okay then.

I will leave then.

Hyun Soo. You know I...

Doctor's son.

I don't ever want to see you again.

Yeah.

I saw Director Min arranging a meeting with Kim Hyun Soo.

I know that it was Min who sent you as an undercover agent and killed Gyung Mi.

I'm sure that you already knew.

That's why Min abandoned you.

Be careful.

Min abandoned Doctor's Son. He has chosen Kim Hyun Soo now.

Ji Hyung Min.

I will deal with Min.

You just stay as a cop.

You have to even for Gyung Mi's sake.

Do me a favor.

Don't touch Kim Hyun Soo.

Shi Hyun.

Yeah.

Shi Hyun.

Yeah.

Was it hard?

It was hard wasn't it?

I'm sorry Shi Hyun.

Why did you do it?

Why didn't you tell me?

I couldn't congratulate you.

I'm glad. I am.

Because you're a cop.

It must have been so hard doing it alone.

Shi Hyun.

I'm so sorry.

If I were someone else, it would have been easier for you.

I'm sorry.

I really want to see you wearing your uniform.

I'm sure that you will look great.

Jung Shi Hyun.

It's all right.

How have you been?

You were even thinking about marrying her?

Yeah.

Your father would have been against it.

It doesn't matter what he thinks.

Don't you ever talk about him again.

I'm sorry.

I have never had a father. I don't know how a son would feel.

What is this?

It's Cho's records.

I know that you're worried.

That's why you're the only one that can do it.

Because you want to make him stop.

Take care.

Where are you going?

Thank you.

You will become a good cop.

Jin Sook! Did you know?

What? That I'm beautiful?

That Doctor is a cop.

Did you already know?

Soo.

Let's embrace him.

What? You already knew?

I was the only idiot here.

But that's not hard for you?

Who did you hear this from?

Was it Director Min?

Why would Min tell you?

Because Shi Hyun doesn't work for Min anymore.

Shi Hyun chose us.

He abandoned the police and chose you and me.

Can you imagine how hard it was for him?

It must have been hard for him make such a decision.

Soo.

Just for this once.

Cut Shi Hyun some slack this once.

Even if Shi Hyun is a cop, he will not abandon you.

Soo.

I'm going to ask you.

I can't. I won't!

You can understand him by yourself.

What is this?

Who are these people?

This is Min Hong Ki's bank account.

This is the D.A.

Isn't he your father?

What are you going to do?

Jung Shi Hyun got this with a lot of sacrifice.

I'm going to get everyone here.

It's been a long time.

You remember me? I'm Detective Park from Internal Affairs.

What do you need?

You will see when you come with us.

Take your hand off the USB.

It's me.

What's going on?

When did you first know Doctor's Son?

When was the last time you saw him?

How many times did you see him? Did you see him regularly to get bribes?

Did Director Min order you?

What kind of information did Doctor's Son provide?

No one read what was inside.

I see.

Good work.

Did you deal with Ji Hyung Min?

Illegal surveillance and illegal tapping.

As soon as the fact that he is connected to Doctor's Son is known...

He will need to get ready to quit.

Good work.

The trafficking gave you a headache. Didn't it?

For that...

May I recommend someone who could be in charge of trafficking from now?

As long as he is good at what he does. It's okay for me.

Come in.

It's good to see you again, Mr. Cho.

Take a seat.

Did you part ways with Doctor's Son?

I don't want to hear about him again.

Sit down.

I wanted to come see you today because of your son.

Ji Hyung Min is under the I.A.'s custody.

And?

You're the only one that can get him out.

This is police business.

Reveal everything. That's the only way Ji Hyung Min can get out.

Are you going to fall at Min's hands now?

Or are you going to reveal everything on your own?

I will trust that you will make the right decision.

Ji Hyung Min.

He called you, 'that man.'

I don't even know my who my father is. I haven't seen his face.

So I always hated him.

For once... just once.

I would like to call him, 'that man.'

I know that I'm out of my place for saying this.

Ji Hyung Min has been thinking about you a lot.

Inspector! What's this about Captain Ji being under investigation?

Soo Mi! You were here too.

It seems that Min took action first.

Soo Min! What's inside of that USB?

Is that what he wanted?

He wanted to take the USB?

Director! Hi!

Oh! What are you doing here?

I came here to see you! Can you buy me a cup of coffee?

Come to my room.

Not that kind of coffee. Good coffee.

Can you buy me a coffee?

Where would be good?

So you want to go get Doctor's Son now?

Yes.

We must finish this before he realizes what's going on.

Okay.

Take my boys.

Thank you sir.

You know where it is right?

Yes sir.

Doctor is there.

Get yourselves straight.

I will see you there.

Alone?

Okay.

Why did you come back?

To kill you this time.

You need to die.

For Doctor and Jin Sook to live in peace.

You thought I gave you all of my boys?

Damn it.

You know I can read you like a book.

That's what I like about you.

That is your last word, you bastard.

Bring it.

- Soo! Soo! - Damn it.

I didn't want to be your burden.

I'm a burden again.

Hey Doc.

Yeah?

Shi Hyun.

It was really fun being with you.

Yeah.

I know, so stop talking.

I really mean it.

Go and get Cho! Finish him!

I'm sleepy.

No! Stay with me.

Soo! Soo! Look at me.

Let's go home.

Soo!

Hyun Soo!

You killed Kim Hyun Soo?

It had to be done.

You're a very capable man.

I'm sure that you can finish it.

How can you make such a mess?

I just kept my words with the doctor.

I said that I'd kill his loved one.

Why? Why did you do something so stupid?

It was Kim Hyun Soo that was stupid.

You're finally here, Doc.

Mr. Cho!

- Inspector! - Sir?

Get everyone armed. We're going.

Yes sir. Shin!

Your team will stay here and be on stand-by.

Yes, sir.

Yes, sir.

Doc.

Is anything going to change when you kill me?

Try it.

Be in my shoes.

You will become exactly what I have become soon.

You can't deny it.

Nothing will change.

I will end it all.

Stop!

Shi Hyun.

Why did you do that to me?

Jung Shi Hyun!

You can be a cop again. So don't do something stupid.

You have to make the right decision.

It's going to be all over if you shoot me.

You're a cop!

Jin Sook! You have to think about her.

Do you know what she did when she heard that you were a cop?

Jin Sook begged me on her knees with tears in her eyes.

You can do it.

Jin Sook, you, and I.

We can all live happily.

I have always thought of you as my son.

Drop your gun!

It's all over.

Captain Ji.

I caught Doctor's Son.

What are you doing? Arrest him right now.

Shut up!

Jung Shi Hyun.

I'm not shooting because of you.

You can be a cop again.

I'm not going to be a cop again.

Mr. Min.

Finish...

What you started.

Okay! I will finish it.

Turn yourself in to Ji Hyung Min.

Did I go too far?

Yeah, I will.

Shi Hyun. You know, right?

That it's the place I always wanted to go.

I really wanted to go there with you someday.

Shi Hyun, I love you.

Jin Sook

Soo Min.

You look good.

Thank you.

Isn't my hair bad?

Can you do my hair when you have time?

Okay.

I got to go.

Mister!

Mister Gangster.

Jung Shi Hyun!

Shi Hyun.

Shi Hyun.

I became a cop.

I did well. Didn't I?

Take a seat.

I went to see the district attorney.

Was it your power that got me out of the I.A.'s office?

Yeah.

You came here to rub that in?

I resigned right before coming here.

I can testify, even for Min.

The Special Team can be in charge of the investigation.

Why are you doing this?

Where is the interrogation room? I'd like to see it.

Lead the way.

Why are you doing this?

I went too far.

I just want to go back.

I want to be the father that my son respects again.

You have worked hard.

You're all doing well.

Yes.

Good work.

Where is the interrogation room?

It's this way, sir.

Good work.

Soo Min!

How were you guys?

Good!

Did you eat?

Yeah!

I got you all presents.

- Here! - Thank you!

Soo Min!

You really look good in the uniform.

You really look good.

The world is a mirror.

If you spit and cuss, it will spit and cuss back at you.

If you smile, it will smile back at you.

Don't do that!

You will be an undercover agent.

You can fight.

Let's take over that street.
