it definitely sucked
to get rejected.

And I went back and forth

about not sure
if I should go to college,

but I just got a job interview
at this recording studio

and I'm really
excited about it

because this could be
a great opportunity for me,

and I haven't told
my family yet

because I just don't want to,
you know, jinx anything.

[Deon] I'm so proud of her.

But just hearing her say
the thing about social media,

it just has me really like,
"What could she be
thinking about doing?"

That's very alarming.

It's not a plan of, okay,
I'm gonna get a job here.

I'm gonna attend
community college there.

go to college, okay,

what's the next thing
that you're gonna do
that helps to solidify

going into adulthood?

to moving into the new house

So, now the house doesn't
have the furniture yet.

It's gonna be
about another week or two.

But we have this house rented.

So, now we have
to be out of this house
so they can get moved in.

has to create it
and make it a home.

Right. So, leaving out
of this house,

it's gonna be, you know,
bittersweet, even for me,

because this house
has been the OG

that has really seen
a lot of y'all grow up.

Remember the younger
five babies,

they only remember this house.

think about Dyver,

Yeah, that was
a very happy moment for us.

[all screaming]

[Deon] Last year, I found out
that I have a long lost
nephew, Amani,

and GG has a grandson.

It changed our lives,
of course, for the better.

GG is going to be
a great-grandmother.

-[Deon] Congratulations!

Amani has been dealing
with some serious
health issues.

We've all been praying
day and night,

hoping that he gets healthy

because we really want him
to come visit us soon.

We put up the Christmas tree
in the corner,

and we put an ornament up
for Carter.

It says, "though we never
held you in our arms,

we'll always hold you
in our hearts."

[Deon] Karen was pregnant
with triplet boys,

which was Carter,
Diez and Dior.

Shortly after birth,
we lost Carter.

We felt it was a disservice
to Carter

to just say,
"Now we have twins." No.

So, we took
from triplet and twins

and we combined them.

And that's where we came up
with the word "triplins."

Look, we have a lot of sweet,
fun memories here, you know,

but Pop and I
are gonna make sure

that we create good memories
in the new house.

Yes, Dior?

No, Dior, we'll be saying
bye to this house,

which is a little emotional.

-[Karen] Yeah.
-[Deon] But we also say hello
to the new house,

which is great 'cause we have
more room over there.

being a part-time summer job
at a donut shop,

is next level,

and it's definitely more
in line with what I wanna do
with my future.

we get driven people

some real world experience,

in a music studio before,

So I thought that this
would be a great way

for me to get my foot

Hearing that he values
real world experience
over college

makes me feel like
I have a shot at this,

and hopefully he'll hire me.

There's gonna be a little bit
of a learning curve for you.

I don't expect you right now
to have it perfect.

But when it's game on,
you gotta know what to say

So I think what would be good
is I'm gonna pretend
I'm a client.

And I think, you know,
this is the work

I am the oldest
of 14 siblings.

I am more than capable
of managing

many different personalities
at once.

My biggest concern with Darian
is that she's young,

and this job requires
someone that operates
like an adult.

But being that
she has 13 siblings,

I can imagine
all the micromanagement
and overseeing

that she has to do,
and the responsibility

of being the first child
and the oldest one.

So, I do need to, um,
get through another interview.

And either way,
I'll contact you,

This job seems perfect for me.

But getting rejected from NYU
was big enough.

I don't know if I can

in Bunny College.

So, what are we looking for
in an Easter hunt?

to us leaving the old house

-is overwhelming.

I was not expecting
that reaction, baby, at all.

It was heartbreaking

and we've been trying
to think of something

that we can do
to make the new house
extra special ever since.

So I wanna make sure
that the classroom
is their special place

where our babies want to be.

I love how colors and paint
can set off

and make the mood
of the room so relaxing.

I wanna lift their spirits.

I want them to know
that it's our blessings
coming our way.

The last few months
haven't been easy
for any of us.

Especially for Derrico and I.

We haven't really been
on the same page

throughout
this entire house drama.

But we're really and truly
starting to communicate
and see eye-to-eye.

an interior designer

'cause I'd be wantin'
to put all the colors
in people's house.

for our babies.

I want them to know
that when they come
into this room,

this could be another
great place to call home.

My parents are definitely
a little concerned about me

ever since
I didn't get into NYU.

But they've been so busy
packing and moving,

and I haven't had time
to talk to them.

to talk to you.

So I've been doing my research

and I was able to get a job
at a recording studio.

He's gonna teach me
how to produce,
the music industry

and I could work
with other artists.

When he told me
that I got the job,

I was so excited,

because it's a really
good opportunity

to get my foot in the door,
and it just made me feel

so free and liberated.

And only God knows
the connections and networking

that's going to happen
as a result of it.

Knowing that Darian
did not get accepted at NYU,

you know, although she said,

No parent wants to see
their child rejected.

took initiative,

and that just really
confirms to me

that she knows what she wants
and she's not afraid
to go after it.

So, I'm very proud of her.

I also want to say

that being that
I'm doing this job,

I want to move out.

for your blessing.

he's not doing well.

Prior to coming into our life,

he had to have
a liver transplant,

and his body is now
rejecting the liver.

So, he's been in and out
of the hospital quite a bit.

Right now, your struggle feels
kind of like my struggle.

But, you're gonna
get through it.

I so appreciate you calling,

so that we get a chance,

moving into our house

I think as we age,

sometimes we maybe feel like
we don't need family.
