The college program that I applied for

was for singing and performing.

I got my decision letter from NYU.

"It is with regret--" Oh.

I didn't get in.

I don't know if I wanna commit to college or anything at all right now.

I'm gonna just continue to do

what I'm doing on social media.

Put myself out there, get my name out there.

Respectfully, I don't want a lot of children.

I don't wanna go out with the 14. I--

and it's like, wow, every time we say something

about senior or graduation,

we decided to do some senior photos,

and we hired a photographer.

And we're gonna let the children burn some energy.

So it's like everything that me and Derrico do

gotta be multi-functional for our family.

-[Karen] Yes! -I am so excited for y'all.

-We are really and truly grateful... -Yes.

because there's been a lot of tension between Karen and I,

so to finally have all that behind us, that's priceless.

When are you getting the results from the MRI?

I get it that GG doesn't wanna burden me,

but it has to be scary to be going through this,

and I don't want her dealing with some major health challenges alone.

would be a little nervous about me saying social media,

[Darian] NYU, for me, it definitely sucked to get rejected.

And I went back and forth

about not sure if I should go to college,

but I just got a job interview at this recording studio

and I'm really excited about it

because this could be a great opportunity for me,

and I haven't told my family yet

because I just don't want to, you know, jinx anything.

[Deon] I'm so proud of her.

But just hearing her say the thing about social media,

it just has me really like, "What could she be thinking about doing?"

That's very alarming.

It's not a plan of, okay, I'm gonna get a job here.

I'm gonna attend community college there.

[Deon] If you're not gonna go to college, okay,

what's the next thing that you're gonna do that helps to solidify

going into adulthood?

I'm gonna kiss you on the cheek.

[Karen] Being that Darian is our first,

you know, Derrico and I have to carefully

watch how we handle her situation

with us moving to the new house.

I really wanna keep this as normal as I possibly can.

So we're gonna decorate Easter eggs.

All right, so we have an announcement.

You guys are pregnant? You-- Mommy's pregnant?

I think a big announcement is gonna be a new trampoline or a pool.

I'm looking forward to moving into the new house

'cause we'll have a fresh start and it's a lot bigger.

I'm most excited for the boys' bedroom.

We have it named called Fortress Maximus. It's lit.

So, now the house doesn't have the furniture yet.

It's gonna be about another week or two.

But we have this house rented.

So, now we have to be out of this house so they can get moved in.

Yes, 'cause the new tenant has to create it and make it a home.

Right. So, leaving out of this house,

it's gonna be, you know, bittersweet, even for me,

because this house has been the OG

that has really seen a lot of y'all grow up.

Remember the younger five babies,

they only remember this house.

[Karen speaking]

[Deon] What do y'all think about Dyver,

your little brother?

I'm kinda gonna miss this house 'cause of the hot cocoa.

Yeah, that was a very happy moment for us.

[all screaming]

[Deon] Last year, I found out that I have a long lost nephew, Amani,

and GG has a grandson.

It changed our lives, of course, for the better.

GG is going to be a great-grandmother.

-[Deon] Congratulations! -Thank you.

Amani has been dealing with some serious health issues.

We've all been praying day and night,

hoping that he gets healthy

because we really want him to come visit us soon.

We put up the Christmas tree in the corner,

and we put an ornament up for Carter.

[Deon] That's a good one.

It says, "though we never held you in our arms,

we'll always hold you in our hearts."

[Deon] Karen was pregnant with triplet boys,

which was Carter, Diez and Dior.

Shortly after birth, we lost Carter.

We felt it was a disservice to Carter

to just say, "Now we have twins." No.

So, we took from triplet and twins

and we combined them.

And that's where we came up with the word "triplins."

Look, we have a lot of sweet, fun memories here, you know,

but Pop and I are gonna make sure

that we create good memories in the new house.

No, Dior, we'll be saying bye to this house,

which is a little emotional.

-[Karen] Yeah. -[Deon] But we also say hello to the new house,

which is great 'cause we have more room over there.

I think it's just starting to set in with our children

This house definitely has been a huge blessing to us.

My only other experience

being a part-time summer job at a donut shop,

The recording studio is next level,

and it's definitely more in line with what I wanna do with my future.

So, have you been to the studio before?

I've worked with Lil Wayne, mixing stuff, producing stuff.

So it's very important we get driven people

that are willing to just constantly learn.

So we're expanding and we're due for an assistant

And are you gonna be going to college?

I actually wanted to get some real world experience,

and kind of, just like go straight into my music career.

Everybody that works here, we all just dived in.

The person that's gonna get this job has a passion for music...

And this is like, everything for them. It's their baby.

I like to sing. I write music.

I have never, like, recorded in a music studio before,

but I want to.

So I thought that this would be a great way

for me to get my foot in the door to doing that.

Hearing that he values real world experience over college

makes me feel like I have a shot at this,

and hopefully he'll hire me.

There's gonna be a little bit of a learning curve for you.

I don't expect you right now to have it perfect.

But when it's game on, you gotta know what to say

-'cause you're gonna be the first point of contact. -Right.

So I think what would be good is I'm gonna pretend I'm a client.

I booked two hours and I had to dip out,

so I want, like, you know, all my money back."

"I apologize for this inconvenience,

but I would be more than happy,

-There was a second there, where, like, you stumbled. -[Darian] Yeah.

And I think, you know, this is the work you got to put in

'cause it will be pretty high pressure.

I am the oldest of 14 siblings.

I am more than capable of managing

many different personalities at once.

-I'm sure you are. -[both chuckles]

-That seems like a... a handful there. -Yeah.

My biggest concern with Darian is that she's young,

and this job requires someone that operates like an adult.

But being that she has 13 siblings,

I can imagine all the micromanagement and overseeing

that she has to do, and the responsibility

of being the first child and the oldest one.

So, I do need to, um, get through another interview.

And either way, I'll contact you,

-and let you know my decision. -Okay.

This job seems perfect for me.

But getting rejected from NYU was big enough.

I don't know if I can handle another rejection.

If I don't get his job, I don't know what my plan C is gonna be.

So, I met Dodger in... in Bunny College.

So, what are we looking for in an Easter hunt?

-The Bunny clues. -Like, candy,

[Karen] Baby, their reaction to us leaving the old house

-is overwhelming. -[Deon] Yeah.

I was not expecting that reaction, baby, at all.

It was heartbreaking

and we've been trying to think of something

that we can do to make the new house extra special ever since.

So I wanna make sure that the classroom is their special place

where our babies want to be.

I love how colors and paint can set off

and make the mood of the room so relaxing.

I wanna lift their spirits.

I want them to know that it's our blessings coming our way.

[Deon] Yeah.

The last few months haven't been easy for any of us.

Especially for Derrico and I.

We haven't really been on the same page

throughout this entire house drama.

But we're really and truly starting to communicate and see eye-to-eye.

-[Deon] They got so many to choose from. -[Karen] They do.

I knew I couldn't be an interior designer

'cause I'd be wantin' to put all the colors in people's house.

That's why they have them in a collection.

-[laughs] -They have them in a collection

because those colors are most complementing to each other.

So which color would you think for the children?

You wouldn't want, I don't think, bold...

-No. -...necessarily.

I'm looking for something that's a little bit more homey.

You know, for the classroom.

-I could see that. -I have to have a blue.

I just don't know which blue I want.

Like, I'm thinking this would be an accent wall.

I have an idea. I wanna do a design.

So I was thinking something more of like a family tree.

wherever we go, we're planting our roots at that new location.

We all have to work together to make sure

that this family tree stays extremely strong

I chose the colors of the room because blue, for me, represents calmness.

And after that, I have an artist coming over

and they are going to paint something special on the wall for our babies.

I want them to know that when they come into this room,

this could be another great place to call home.

[Darian] Mommy, Poppy? Can I talk to you guys real quick?

-[Deon] Yes, baby. -[Karen] Yes.

My parents are definitely a little concerned about me

ever since I didn't get into NYU.

But they've been so busy packing and moving,

and I haven't had time to talk to them.

So I have to let them know that, "Guys, I got this. You don't need to worry."

What brings you over here?

[Darian] I just wanted to talk to you.

So I've been doing my research

and I was able to get a job at a recording studio.

-Oh, baby, that's good! -[Karen] Aw!

He's gonna teach me how to produce, the music industry

and I could work with other artists.

When he told me that I got the job,

I was so excited,

because it's a really good opportunity

to get my foot in the door, and it just made me feel

so free and liberated.

And only God knows the connections and networking

that's going to happen as a result of it.

I'm really excited to start.

Knowing that Darian did not get accepted at NYU,

you know, although she said, "Oh, I'm fine."

No parent wants to see their child rejected.

But she definitely took initiative,

and that just really confirms to me

that she knows what she wants and she's not afraid to go after it.

So, I'm very proud of her.

I also want to say

that being that I'm doing this job,

I want to move out.

So I'm just asking for your blessing.

My firstborn tells me that she wants to move out.

But I feel like I really want and need this.

This is a big step in my life.

I need to know what it's like to be independent,

My parents definitely need to trust me.

They need to trust that I have this under control.

um, as far as what this plan of action

I know what it's like to think you have it all figured out.

But there are things to being an adult

Mommy and Poppy did something very special

to put our stamp on this house

in your homeschool room

so that you could feel you know, the Derrico love.

So, who's excited to go upstairs and see the surprise.

-The mural turned out amazing. -It did.

It really did.

So I'm excited to see their reaction to it as well.

I want their classroom to be a calm, relaxing place.

So, we chose the colors for this room

to accent the family tree.

This way, whenever they're in here,

they'll feel confident, relaxed and ready to learn.

It says, "The Derrico family is rooted in love."

[Deon] And it has all of our names on it.

But I am so relieved.

Guys, I'm gonna be moving out.

[Dyver gasps] What?

-What? -[Daician] Wait, what?

[Daiten] To an apartment?

I'm leaving this house.

Well, she's here for right now,

but she's planning on moving out.

Even if my plans don't work out the way they should,

it means a lot to me for my parents to

support me and back me up on this.

I'm genuinely scared to move out.

But I know that with everything they taught me,

We really wanted Amani and his family

to be able to come out and celebrate Easter with us.

But...

he's not doing well.

Prior to coming into our life,

he had to have a liver transplant,

and his body is now rejecting the liver.

So, he's been in and out of the hospital quite a bit.

[Amani speaking]

Right now, your struggle feels kind of like my struggle.

But, you're gonna get through it.

I so appreciate you calling,

so that we get a chance,

-at least hear your voice and... -[Deon] Yeah.

[GG] Amani just came into our life.

He's young, has a new baby.

We just can't have nothing happen to him.

if we're angry, for, like, just anything.

We always have somebody to like, go to.

This whole experience has just been one remarkable journey.

We get frustrated through the process,

but when you're trying to walk through that storm,

it's gonna be a beautiful, bright sunshine day.

This is gonna be a memory.

Remember that Easter we ate pizza?

I mean, of course, I know everyone feel like their family is the best,

but we're the mother and father

of 14 beautiful, loving children,

and family never changes.

Like, I remember GG and I moving into our house just like we're doing here.

-And we didn't have a lot of furniture, just-- -We had each other.

[GG] You know, I think as we age,

sometimes we maybe feel like we don't need family.

We do. We need family.

I need my family like I need both of these arms.

It's a link.

And that link makes us strong.

When we're linked up together, come try to break it.

It's beneficial to me.

[Karen] I mean, the Easter Bunny came and visited us on Easter.
