I'm still wondering

when will we ever
get good news?

Listen, I don't know
what you guys got going on,

but I'm going to Mount
Charleston very soon,

to go snow skiing,
45 minutes away.

And I want all of you guys
to come with me.

of some of that stress

that you have with the house.

some serious fun.

the same thing about camping.

Growing up in Detroit,
there's tons of snow.

like the thing to do.

But again, I never had anyone
to introduce me to it.

My mother didn't ski.

None of my peers or friends
growing up skied.

I am from a region

where we don't get snow
and it's too cold.

I don't like
being in the cold.

I am sitting on a heating pad
as we speak.

[Deon] And what about,
do they have like,
warming spots?

Um, there are warming spots.
There's yurts.

[Lee] Yeah,
it's like a outdoor shelter.

It's like almost like
a tepee tent type of thing.

Anyone ever fall off
the chairlift?

Not that I've ever seen
in my 20 years of skiing.

I've never seen it happen.

I see people dangling.

-You watch on social media.
-Social media is a lie.

It's not always accurate.

I will ski.

But I need somebody with me.

Because you're skiing
for the first time,

you don't know
what's gonna happen.

I don't wanna break anything.

I don't wanna twist my ankle
or nothing like that.

Someone got hit by a tree?

Or you may ask has anyone
ever hit a tree?

[Lee] Well, yeah,
trees don't come out
and tackle people.

But again, if you're careless,
you could go into a tree.

But they're so far away.

Like, someone falls,
hurt themselves,

how do you get help?

There's a lot of ski patrol.
They're really
awesome out there, yeah.

Everything with 14 children
is gonna cost a lot.

The good news is,
I'll make some phone calls.

a nice group rate

with Darian in her college.

stressful going through

that we can get together

and just relight that fire

blown out, due to the tension.

getting winter clothing
for 14 children.

And I want all of us to match,

so we can stand out
for safety purposes.

I was able to get
all of the snow gear
that we need in wholesale.

See? I am a good shopper.

It is really beautiful.

she's my first
cousin's daughter.

skied before.

three hours comfortable.

very time consuming.

is a freaking workout.

And that's a baby mountain.

Climbing up that thing,
my gosh,
I don't know how people hike.

I'm so hot.

I hated climbing up the hill.

So it's not just
straight hard snow.

I decided to walk up
Mount Everest.

[breathing heavily]

I didn't think I would
ever make it to the top.

But I finally
made it up there,

while Karen is safely
in the warm truck.

I never saw the fun in cold.

You had to put
on 500 layers.

I grew up in that.
That part was lit.

That's the thing too.
I don't know nothing
about that layer of life.

Poppy, are you gonna go?

So in Detroit,
I was a city sledder.

Because as children,
that was one
of the free, fun things

that we could do
from the snowplows
coming through the streets.

And we'll pack it up in like,
little small hills.

this is a serious mountain

that I'm having
to go up and down.

I'm not used to that.

The sacrifices that I make
for my family.

to split up our large family
