the Reklaws started

Our mom actually named
the band because

it's our last name backwards.

It's Walker backwards
is Reklaw.

We've been back
and forth trying

to decide what song to do.

specifically about our mom.

We lost our mom
to mental health,

and that shook up our world.

- We lost her in 2022,
and it was a very

tough time for our family.

And we just want
to acknowledge that to people

that are going through
tough times.

proud right now.

is because of her.

for how many years?

- 19.

- Have the prisoners
ever heard you sing?

- When I first got there,
after I sang a song,

a riot broke out.

Then I had to triage everybody.

and then they asked me again.

And I just did it two months
ago, and it was peace.
