I'm Ky Stax, a Kairu Champion.

I race around the world seeking out Kairu.

Lokar has unleashed a dangerous Kairu: Shadow Kairu.

Shadow Kairu X-Drives contain powerful new attacks

and monstrous warriors.

We must master both types of Kairu

to save the Earth from Lokar's Shadow.

My quest is to conquer the Kairu...

To one day become...

A Redakai!

Oh man.

Boomer, I had the worst dream.

Metanoid was infected by Shadow Kairu

and he was destroying everything.

I've got to find a way to counteract the effects

of the Shadow Kairu or--

I'm too tired to go to school today, Mom.

[snoring]

Master Boaddai: I am sorry to have awoken you all so early,

but I have detected another Kairu deposit

and I would have you begin your quest as soon--

[yawn]

--as possible.

Although, maybe we should wait until everyone's fully awake?

I didn't get much of a sleep last night.

Well, I had this crazy dream about...

...about a big goof who snored all night.

Let's step it up guys.

If we want to get that Kairu deposit

before Vexus and Nexus get it, Hexus has got to go.

but that is extra freaky.

OK, I think it's safe to say,

that this has been an awful day.

Clever. Those Hiverax boys are clever.

I don't know about that.

They forgot to take the Kairu deposit.

OK, I don't feel so bad now.

I guess they're not so clever after all.

That's one good thing that happened today.

Let's collect this Kairu and head home.

Maya: And we think that when I hit Hexus

with my Lightning Storm attack,

something inside him must have shut down

and he passed out.

Very peculiar.

That does not sound like the behavior

of any alien I know of.

I wish we could have brought him back.

We'd have learned a lot more.

We learned enough.

We discovered another chink in the Hiverax's armor.

And with luck, it will help defeat them in the future.

Any sort of weakness we find out about them will help.

It's good to know they aren't as indestructible

as they first seemed.

They're still super creepy though.

Thinking: What was that dream about Shadow Metanoid?

What could it mean?

I really hope I find a solution to Shadow Kairu

so that I never have to find out.

[snoring]

Can't I just stay home and watch TV?

Ky: Boomer's Righteous Light attack is really helpful

in a battle against Shadow monsters.

But when the Hiverax hit us with Confusion Spiral,

it's never a good day.

It does a lot of damage and it really knocked us for a loop.
