Lokar has unleashed a dangerous Kairu: Shadow Kairu.

Shadow Kairu X-Drives contain powerful new attacks.

and monstrous warriors.

We must master both types of Kairu

to save the Earth from Lokar's Shadow.

My quest is to conquer the Kairu...

to see Master Atoch. It's been a really long time.

I know. I wonder what he and Ekayon have been up to

since we saw them at the tournament.

Probably travelling all around the world

chasing down Kairu just like us.

I bet they're extra busy.

Speaking of Shadow Kairu, we've just found our target.

After we're done questing maybe we can kick back and relax.

It may look nice, but something is definitely off

about this place.

Well, it's eerily quiet and there's no sign of anyone

or anything anywhere.

Ky: We're getting closer, guys.

The Kairu's just ahead.

like we're being watched?

It could be any one of the E-Teens

looking for the same Kairu as us.

from the best Kairu warriors in the galaxy.

and we should really keep looking for it.

I've heard of it, but I haven't run into any yet.

The four of us will be able to track it down in no time.

Boomer: ... and then Lokar's lair exploded

It must have been unreal to be in the middle of it all.

It was pretty intense.

And that's not all.

We ran into a new set of E-Teens, the Hiverax.

I haven't met them yet.

Be thankful.

They've got some crazy powers we've never seen before.

Yeah. And they're super creepy.

Even more reason to keep the Kairu away from them.

And the faster we get to it, the better.

[rumble]

Maya: So, anyway, Master B has been even more concerned

than normal since the Shadow Kairu was released.

What about Master Atoch?

It's like he vanished or something.

without being pestered by you.

I thought he'd never come across Shadow Kairu before.

I don't know what's going on,

but that's not the Ekayon we know.

It has to be the Shadow Kairu.

Whatever it is, we've gotta stop him

before he gets his hands on that energy.

We certainly don't get to play Chaturanji

as much as we used to.

The longer he's affected by it, the worse it's bound to be.

Maya and Boomer might not be here,

but those creepy vines tell me the Shadow Kairu is.

[bubbling]

All you have to do is submerge yourself in the Shadow Kairu.

Soon you won't have a choice.

Well, let's help him along then, shall we?

I've got maybe one attack left.

I can't fight this out of them.

But, maybe I can attack the problem at its source.

Maya: Run!

I can't believe the Shadow Kairu messed me up like that.

I felt my anger overpowering me,

but couldn't do anything to stop it.

Tell me about it.

It was like watching a movie in my head.

A really scary movie.

Yeah, it was like being under Lokar's grip all over again.

There was nothing you could do about it.

That's how powerful this Shadow Kairu is.

And if it can do that to one of us,

imagine what someone actually evil could do with it?

All I know is it's not something I want to feel again.

Ever.

Whatever happens, I'm going to make sure we're more prepared

for the next Shadow Kairu battle we're faced with.

[birds chirping]

So now that this place is like a paradise again,

Maybe we can still catch Master Atoch.

I don't get one thing that's going on in this game,

but it's very exciting...

It's been a gruelling challenge, coming down to the wire.

Perhaps my last move will be the difference.

It only took thousands and thousands of hard fought games,

but I have finally beaten you, Master Atoch.
