I race around the world seeking out Kairu.

Lokar has unleashed a dangerous Kairu: Shadow Kairu.

Shadow Kairu X-Drives contain powerful new attacks.

and monstrous warriors.

We must master both types of Kairu

to save the Earth from Lokar's Shadow.

My quest is to conquer the Kairu...

I may be a Kairu Champion, but when it comes to my monster,

I'm a total disaster.

That can't be a bad thing.

Unless Lokar made it out.

Then he's going to be really angry.

And that anger's going to be directed right at yours truly.

What could be the effect of so much Kairu being released?

Well, I didn't find the Kairu, but I did find Zair and Techris.

because I won the last tournament and he didn't.

But, more importantly.

And I'm sensing something isn't right about it.

Just like the feeling I had outside Lokar's lair.

My outlook on this quest just got a whole lot brighter.

And I get the feeling it isn't a good something.

Then we should offer to help them.

They're preparing for the storms.

And, as much as we could use your assistance,

it just isn't safe for you to be here.

And trust me, we're used to dealing

with much worse things than storms.

Like those two creatures I saw you fighting with earlier?

Maybe it has something to do with the storms.

They're really severe and totally unpredictable.

In fact, they've been threatening our very existence.

This storm definitely looks worse than the last one.

Guys, I think we've got a problem.

I'm starting to think there's not even any Kairu out here.

But we can't go back empty-handed.

Now that Zane has Lokar's X-Reader,

there's no telling what he's capable of.

Techris: Hey, we're getting a reading!

It's not much, but it just might be enough

to keep Zane off our backs for a while.

I'm starting to think that I don't need you two after all.

I told you to find me a Kairu deposit, not a puddle.

I've never seen anything like it.

I know I don't hit the Kairu history books

as much as I should,

but since when is Kairu a force for evil instead of good?

When someone distorts the energy.

Like Lokar did once before.

Maybe this has something to do with it.

have anything to do with this?

No one's seen or heard from him since I obliterated his lair.

It doesn't matter where it came from,

we have to collect this Kairu as soon as possible.

Once we have it, then we can take a closer look.

And Aldo's village can return to normal.

Sounds like a plan to me.

Yeah. But collecting it's going to be easier said than done.

Last time I checked, even a Kairu Champion

can't predict the weather.

Then I guess we'll have to wait for the next storm to roll in.

In the meantime, let's chill.

Zair: Let me get this straight,

the Kairu is in the clouds?

That'll make it a little tougher to collect,

but we'll get it.

Seriously? Without Zane here to help,

you don't stand a chance against me, Maya and Ky.

And now that Lokar's gone, I'm running this show.

out of the ruins of the lair.

At least now we know for sure that Lokar's gone.

It hardly matters.

Zane already seems as determined to destroy us as Lokar was.

Techris: There's not a cloud in sight.

What are we going to do?

I can tell you what we're not going to do:

wait for a storm to show up.

Let's see what a Radikor Rage Attack does for us.

I'm not sure what we can do to beat him.

We need to come up with something.

If I can get on the other side of Zane,

maybe we can use the force of this storm

to help us defeat him.

So, Zane, I thought you said you were extra powerful.

I hope Maya's plan works or he's going to give us

two express tickets to the ground.

I'm just glad we were able to restore

the balance of nature here.

I've never seen anything like them before.

Whoa! They definitely seem stranger

than the ones we're used to.

This proves what I had thought all along.

The Kairu has been manipulated in some way.

And I suspect that Lokar did it before he disappeared.

Ky: So what're you saying?

The Kairu that was released during the explosion

at his lair was somehow corrupted?

Maya: It looks that way.

And now that it's been released,

it's causing strange things to happen all over the planet.

Then that means it's completely my fault.

Ky, don't be crazy.

The lair exploding was an accident, remember?

Accident or not, I caused the explosion,

and I'm responsible for the unstable Kairu

that's been released.

It's not that simple, Ky.

Yes, it is.

Because of what I did, I've put you and the world in jeopardy.

It's my responsibility to collect this Shadow Kairu

and get things back to normal as quickly as I can.

[grunt]

Ky may have defeated me this time,

but the battle has just begun.

And it's going to be a battle
