When you walked inside the building,

it didn't take any data.

This ground here is the gateway for skinwalkers.

What I saw, it doesn't belong here.

-KALEB: We're looking at an eye. -ERIK: The temperature

around the homestead began to drop.

There is one other feature.

I want you to see this thing.

THOMAS: What is that?

sort of object that appears to be animate.

BRYANT: Why is it cold?

Yeah, if it were an animal,

-it would be hot. -BRYANT: It would be hot.

TRAVIS: As we're watching the thermal camera footage

that we took last night during Rabbi Ariel Tzadok's

portal experiment down at Homestead Two,

we're seeing not only what looks like a possible vortex

with a much lower temperature than its surroundings,

but also some kind of black object moving across the frame

that is giving off absolutely no heat signature.

I don't know what to make of that.

Wow, so, uh, yeah, we need to understand that better.

-To me this is... -Yeah.

This is... startling.

It's exciting in that

it looks, at least, in the same sort of

genre of experience as what the NIDS guys talked about,

although it wasn't a monster that crawled out of this portal,

it was-- we see a weird thing,

and we did see something in the FLIR,

but we didn't see it with our eyes.

A couple weeks ago, retired Army Colonel John Alexander,

who was part of Robert Bigelow's

National Institute for Discovery Science,

that investigated Skinwalker Ranch from 1996 to 2016,

he gave an incredible assessment of what he believes

is causing all the weird phenomena that happens here.

It's my view that these things

are all connected in some way.

I would say the area

is a portal.

TRAVIS: Well, we saw this strange anomaly.

Could it have been something like that they saw?

I don't know, but there is a correlation,

and there's a comparison that one could make.

Well, we have the luxury of following up.

You know, we can always take this instrument back out

to the exact same spot.

I would like to have more than one infrared camera

looking there, maybe from a couple

-of different directions. -ERIK: Oh, yeah.

And maybe even have, uh,

night vision goggles going.

Everything we can think of and redo this experiment

and see if we can see anything like we saw the other night.

People say that when you try to stimulate

strange phenomena on the ranch, the ranch sometimes responds.

(chanting)

TRAVIS: Last night with the rabbi here performing

that ancient Hebrew ceremony...

...it may have caused whatever that was

that we recorded on the thermal camera to appear.

Hopefully, we can do it all again but this time

really figure out just what the heck it is.

TRAVIS: While Erik and I were preparing

for the follow-up experiment at Homestead Two,

Thomas Winterton met up with someone with past experiences

on the ranch named Steven Wall.

He's actually a member of the Sherman family,

who not only reported very bizarre and traumatizing

incidents here back in the mid-1990s

but also similar phenomena to what we've been investigating,

including the possible existence of portals.

THOMAS: How many years has it been since you've been

-on the ranch? -Almost, almost 30 years, I believe.

I-I'm curious what your feelings are about coming back on.

Nervous, just anticipating it.

Just seeing it. Seeing if it's still the same.

Steven is the nephew of Gwen and Terry Sherman and lived

four years here on the ranch, uh, when he was a child.

BRANDON: The Sherman family bought the property in the early '90s.

It was their dream to raise prized cattle.

The Shermans quickly found out, unfortunately,

that, uh, they were not alone.

And it's well documented that the Sherman family

experienced everything from UFO sightings on the ranch

to disturbing daylight cattle mutilations...

...to really what could only be described

as terrifying events on a regular basis.

All of the strange events that were plaguing the Sherman family

motivated them to sell the property.

THOMAS: Got to be kind of hard to talk

about some of these things

as far as, does it dredge up old memories,

-old emotions? -It does. Right now I have

a lot of emotions going through me right now.

It's bittersweet, I guess, coming back, though.

STEVEN: I lived here as a small child.

There was some crazy, bizarre things

that happened that I can remember as a kid that--

I just remember feeling a little scared, a little nervous.

THOMAS: I think bringing Steven on

and getting to the bottom of some of these stories

that we've heard about the ranch

is going to help us in our investigation

by leaps and bounds.

-TRAVIS: Hey, Thomas. -Hey, guys.

I'd like to introduce you to Steven Wall.

-Nice to meet you guys. -TRAVIS: Hey, man. -BRYANT: How you doing?

Good, good.

So, Erik and Travis are the scientists here

on the ranch, and Bryant is head of security

and also our safety officer.

I'm just wondering if you can walk us through

some of the things as they come to mind,

some places that we can look at,

where there are stories associated with it.

Okay. Well, y'all want to walk over here.

-TRAVIS: All right. -ERIK: Everything I know

about the time when Terry and Gwen Sherman

lived on the ranch is known through the public record.

I've never had the opportunity to speak with them personally.

I think it's special for our whole team to hear from Steven.

THOMAS: We are walking down to an area where we've been told

about some dogs that were killed.

TRAVIS: The vaporizing dogs, right?

They weren't vaporized.

-They were compressed into the ground. -TRAVIS: Compressed?

What do you mean by compressed? Like something fell on them

-or what? -Like something heavy smashed them.

Really?

Something actually looked like

-they were just squashed into the dirt? -STEVEN: Yeah.

From what I remember, a blue orb

came bouncing down off them rocks right there.

TRAVIS: They believe a blue orb killed the dogs?

Is that what you're saying? Really?

You heard that story from the people

who actually saw it with their own eyes?

-I saw it with my own eyes. -Oh, you saw it?

-Yeah. -Wow.

STEVEN: When I was a kid, me and my uncle saw something

coming down off from the mesa.

As we were standing by the house,

it looked like a bouncing ball, an orb,

I guess you would call it, but it was like a blue color.

I remember hearing the dogs whimper.

And then I remember finding the dogs smashed.

I don't really know what happened,

but I just know that man couldn't do that.

I've been told about an area having been burned

in the vicinity of each of the animals,

-like, uh, a circle in the ground and... -Mm-hmm.

-Did that actually happen? -Mm-hmm.

-Like, it was charred... -It looked like something hot

sat right there in-in the weeds.

-Really? -And this is around the dog,

almost like whatever compressed them was hot

-and it burned the earth? -TRAVIS: It was one big circle,

-or was it a circle around each animal? -Each animal.

So, almost like the outside edge was hot,

and whatever smashed them down to the ground wasn't

and just pressed them into the dirt?

When I hear these detailed stories

like orbs appearing and crushing the Shermans' dogs,

they're hard to believe at face value.

But just a month ago, right after we excavated

a mysterious pit near Homestead Two,

that night, while we were eating dinner,

both Kaleb Bench and I saw a glowing object near my trailer.

It was right there.

Something yellow and goldish color,

and it was rectangular.

You know, uh, we ought to keep moving

and look for other spots that you want to show us.

-Maybe head down closer to Homestead Two. -ERIK: I agree.

TRAVIS: As a scientist,

I'm still struggling with Steven's story.

But he's so sincere about what he claims happened.

And given what I've seen myself, I wonder more and more if there

really could be things going on here at Skinwalker Ranch

that conventional science just isn't going to explain.

(grunts)

THOMAS: If you can at all be specific about...

here, if there-- you know, if possible.

-Obviously it was 30 years ago, but... -Okay, yeah, well, keep going.

So, so you start getting down in here, and this is where...

(bleep) gets a little crazy around here.

So right here on this knoll right here

is where everything just gets crazy,

and it seemed like it all focused around this right here.

STEVEN: You could see something open up in the sky.

Something came out of it, and they were searching

through the trees, and that hole closed.

TRAVIS: You ready, Guy?

GUY: I'm ready. I can go hit "record."

(Ariel chanting)

STEVEN: It all focused around this

-right here. -TRAVIS: Are we gonna get out here?

Is that what we're doing?

As we were driving toward Homestead Two

with Steven Wall, who lived here with the Shermans

back in the 1990s,

all of a sudden, he gets really freaked out.

The first story that I can

really, really hard-core remember--

down there, there's a gulch.

-Yeah. -Yep. -Okay. Right over there

you could see something open up in the sky.

Something came out of it.

A peach-colored object up there, okay?

Me and my uncle saw it coming through the field,

but it come working its way up

through them Russian olive trees,

and it came up and just scouted these trees just like this.

God.

STEVEN: It came up, went over the canal,

and it drove down the path of that road right there.

ERIK: I want to make sure I've understood.

You-you described a scouting behavior,

like a searching behavior?

Yes, like they were, they were searching

through the trees, and it went straight up,

and that hole closed.

Wow. That's interesting.

Different people described seeing

an opening, a portal or whatever.

Maybe this is a spot that we need to investigate for that.

It's amazing to meet

another firsthand witness who believes he may have seen

a portal open on Skinwalker Ranch.

Steven seemed very sincere,

and it's well-known that his aunt and uncle,

Gwen and Terry Sherman,

were literally terrified so much

by what they experienced here

that they left the property in 1996

and have never been back.

STEVEN: Over here on this ridge right here...

-TRAVIS: Wow. -that's exactly where it all happens.

ERIK: It's really interesting that

Steven mentioned this location.

Several of our investigations have led us

to focus attention on what we've been calling the "triangle."

We have magnetic anomalies,

we have equipment, I would say, malfunctions.

TRAVIS: Last year, on my very first day here on Skinwalker Ranch,

something weird happened in this exact area up on the mesa.

-Hey, hand me that meter. -(meter whirs)

Yeah, this is pegging out.

THOMAS: What's it saying?

TRAVIS: It's in the milliwatts per meter squared.

I mean that's a significant amount of energy right there.

Look, it is going nuts.

Then, a couple weeks later, we got more radiation spikes

from three spots across the ranch

all pointing to this same area,

but about a mile high

above the property.

Three, two, one, let it launch.

So we launched a weather balloon with instruments,

-hoping to find the energy source. -THOMAS: Good launch.

ERIK: This is not updating.

Dude, I've flown this thing 30 times,

more than 30 times, it's never failed on me.

TRAVIS: And the balloon just disappeared off the radar.

ERIK: Steven, I can't thank you enough for all the things

you've shown us and shared with us,

and you've really set a lot of the stories straight for me,

and, uh, I just appreciate you coming out and giving your time.

Absolutely. Well, you're welcome.

It's good to be back and just-just see

that it's still the same as it was when I was a child.

Well, I guess we should probably be headed back.

-All right. Yep. Yep. -BRYANT: Sounds good.

-TRAVIS: Oh, he's here. -ERIK: Yeah.

Fellas, I want you to meet Guy Blocker. He's from TRGUS.

-Hi, Guy. -Hey, how you doing?

-Hey, Guy. How you doing? Travis. -Hi, Travis.

TRAVIS: Tonight, we're going to reproduce

the experiment we did when Rabbi Ariel Tzadok was here,

and he did a nighttime chant ceremony.

(chanting)

TRAVIS: And we're going to replay that over a sound system.

If we can see the temperature change in the infrared cameras,

and if we can see

this weird black anomaly

moving around again,

then we are that much closer to proving

that there is a correlation between the rabbi's chants

and seeing these possible portal phenomena.

I'm interested in seeing what it is you saw.

What we did see was, looking at a particular location,

that the temperature dropped in probably 20 degrees cooler than

the area around it.

And we always try and improve on our experiments.

This one we hope to be bigger, better,

uh, and we hope to create a bigger reaction.

We've already been out setting up some of the stuff.

-GUY: Okay. -I'd like to get you out there

-and get set up while we still got good lighting, so... -Okay.

I'd say let's grab that, put it in our Jeep,

and have you ride over with us.

GUY: What we're going to try to do when we set up is, we're going

to have the target area in focus,

get our cameras set up so we can maximize

the effectiveness of our sensors.

With the handheld sensors, we're also able to monitor anything

that's going on around us.

So, even though the main event is in front,

there may be something else that may be attached to that

we also want to document.

All right, well, let's get to putting-- hooking stuff up,

-turning stuff on, and getting set up. -Okay.

I guess we got a lot of work to do still.

In addition to Guy's thermal and infrared cameras,

Erik and I also set up every energy

and radiation detector that we have.

And just in case something happens

that mysteriously shorts out any of our electronic devices,

we also set up old school thermometers

in and outside of the homestead building

to make sure we measure any strange drops in temperature

like we got the other night.

I think this is the most instruments we've put out

-at once before, Erik. -ERIK: You know, Travis,

I think we set a new record

-every time we do one of these exercises. -Right, well,

you know what? If something happens, I want to see it

-with as many things as we can see it with. -ERIK: Amen to that.

Look, this is a really speculative exercise

when we start talking about portals and such.

But in this particular location on Skinwalker Ranch,

anything is apparently possible.

And if we do, in fact, cause some of this phenomenology

to manifest, we absolutely want to document it.

We're getting really close to being set up.

-ERIK: Yeah, we're about there. -I think it's just a few minor tweaks

and then we just wait for nightfall to run sound.

Hey, guys. I have all the cameras on record,

so we're recording right now.

TRAVIS: Why don't you guys get in place and when you get there,

-give me a call, and we'll start the-the... -Yeah.

-the rabbi's singing. -Sounds good.

THOMAS: Kaleb and I decided that we would go down to the road

and watch the ceremony from there.

The first time we saw some type of object

that seemed to dart down around the area of the road.

And so definitely having eyes on it from a different perspective

could prove to be useful as this experiment unfolds.

That's good, Thomas. Uh, tell me-- I'm not seeing you

in there, so you're in a good spot.

-THOMAS: We are ready. -TRAVIS: Ready here, too.

(Ariel chanting)

TRAVIS: Just seconds after the recording

of the rabbi's ceremony began to play,

there was an obvious rise in temperature

being shown across the top of Homestead Two

on the thermal camera feed.

It was crazy. Just like a switch got flipped.

(Ariel chanting)

THOMAS (whispering): Hey, hey, hey, hey, come here.

I've got movement in the back.

It's, like, in the back window or something.

Back corner of the house!

TRAVIS: Guys, what's going on?

Thomas is running. Thomas is running.

They're running around crazy.

(Ariel chanting)

TRAVIS: While the chant's playing,

right at the doorway of Homestead Two,

the temperature changes--

it gets hot by, like, nine degrees more

than the surrounding area.

I can't explain that.

Now, if you want to look for

a stretch, an exotic explanation,

the rabbi said it was a chant

that's supposed to open up a portal.

So maybe that's what's causing this strange

temperature anomaly to occur.

Well, several things happened while the ceremony was going

and the screen got completely hot,

and now it's sort of filtering back to normal.

-Slowly. Yeah. -Yeah. Slowly, right?

GUY: I wasn't really sure what to expect.

I got to say I was, uh, quite surprised

by what we did encounter.

It's been the first time that I've been in a place

using thermal and watched the temperature

change so drastically.

You know, on the first experiment,

we saw a lot of things after the ceremony was finished.

(over radio): You want us to head back up there

or do you want us to stay put for a few more minutes?

Stay put. We're watching it closely,

and if we start seeing what we saw last time,

I'll tell you guys to rush in there.

-What's so wild is how this looks normal now. -Mm-hmm.

TRAVIS: And all this was this blue stuff--

I mean, it was just bright hot red.

T-That's just so weird.

It makes no sense that we hit the play button

on an acoustic recording

-and the temperature... the temperature changed. -The temperature.

-The temperature spiked, it went up. -It was crazy.

Rabbi Tzadok performed that chant specifically

to open a portal, so it just makes you wonder:

did playing that chant back cause the temperature to spike?

And, if so, just what does that mean?

Hey, hey, hey, hey, come here.

(over radio): Guys, uh, so, the back window

of the homestead-- there was a definite flickering

in the window. I don't know what it was.

All right. Well, we're going to head down that way.

We'll watch for you.

THOMAS: I'm seeing that again.

-Guys, I see it. -KALEB: It's right there. Yeah.

TRAVIS (over radio): Guys, what's going on?

Thomas is running, Thomas is running.

They're running around crazy.

THOMAS: Right here.

There was something f-flickering right here.

I've seen it a couple times,

-and he saw it the second time. -ERIK: All right.

Ah, this is crazy.

Hey, I think we're getting a,

uh, temperature vortex starting like we had last time,

and it's right above the, uh, homestead.

THOMAS: I want to see this thermometer.

Twice now, we've played this ceremony and twice now,

we have had a pocket of air much different

from the surrounding area in temperature come in.

Maybe we are affecting a portal,

or maybe we're at the very beginning stages of a portal.

KALEB: Hey, did one of you guys move the thermometer in here?

THOMAS: No.

KALEB: Because this one's on the ground.

THOMAS: Kaleb just went inside the house. The thermometer that

was sitting in the window is now sitting...

-KALEB: On the ground. -...on the ground.

Wait, you mean it moved?

Yes,

and nobody's been in the house.

TRAVIS: And right where you saw that light flicker?

That's a little freaky, guys.

THOMAS: We're having a hard time

believing that it just rolled off this, uh, window.

TRAVIS: Tell you what, guys, while I like watching

up here, we're recording all of it.

I'm going to wander down that way and, uh,

see what you guys are looking at.

Yeah, come down here, a-and check this out.

KALEB: So, that was right here.

-Where we set it up. -THOMAS: So, it rolled off.

ERIK: How was it attached? Was it simply...

TRAVIS: Kaleb and Thomas go into the homestead area,

and they find that one of our thermometers,

one of these big mechanical thermometers that was sitting

in a windowsill, had been knocked off somehow,

and was on the floor.

So, if we didn't hear it, how did it fall?

It's a really weird situation.

Did your-- was your FLIR camera, did it have this window?

No, I was only covering those first two up here.

TRAVIS: There's something walking in the field out here, guys!

-THOMAS: What? -There's something walking in the field right out there.

-THOMAS: What are you looking at-- naked eye? -TRAVIS: No, in the infrared.

KALEB: I think I can see what he's talking about right there.

It's moving, it's moving!

I'm on my way!

-KALEB: It's in there! -THOMAS: What the heck?

I just got a message that said that it's unsafe.

Oh, crap. Look at that!

We're actively being electronically attacked.

THOMAS: There's a spot appearing in the trees.

TRAVIS: There's something walking in the field out here, guys!

While I was inside the homestead looking out

the back window, I saw something in the backyard

that looked like a big blob that was moving.

I thought it may have been bipedal,

it could have been quadrupedal,

I'm not sure, but it was just a blob.

ERIK: How far out?

TRAVIS: Uh, I'm going to say almost to that fence line.

Thomas, you're 30 yards short.

You're right where it was.

I don't see it anymore,

but it went straight in front of you, Thomas.

And that... that tree looks like it's hot or something.

It went right into that tree.

(crickets chirping)

What the heck is that?

It's moving, it's moving!

I'm on my way!

What the frick are you?

Hey, Travis!

TRAVIS: Yeah? What do you got?

THOMAS: I saw a white thing in... See, right there?

I thought it was something stationary;

all of a sudden, it started moving.

TRAVIS: That's right where I was looking.

-It was something coming up out of the ground over here. -THOMAS: So, whatever it was,

it was like a round object.

But it was right there and then, all of a sudden, boom.

KALEB: Hey. It's in there!

-THOMAS: You see it? -KALEB: Yeah, it's right there. It's right there, it's moving.

TRAVIS: I don't see how you're going to get in there.

Be careful, Thomas.

I don't think we're going to get through that.

THOMAS: It just gets worse. What the heck?

What I saw was like a six-foot diameter,

really intense and then it kind of got dimmer as it,

like, went out a little bit, like it faded.

And while I was sitting there staring at it,

trying to figure out what it was,

it started to move like this.

And it just kind of moved across, and then it was like

it disappeared in the trees, and that's when we...

TRAVIS: Yeah, it was right through there.

I'm not seeing it anymore.

Let's go back and... a-and kind of...

-KALEB: Regroup. -TRAVIS: Yeah, yeah. Regroup.

-Catch our breath for a second. -KALEB: Let's regroup.

Calm down.

TRAVIS: That was exciting, interesting and weird all at once.

THOMAS: Whatever it was that we saw tonight,

these were seen only with the thermographic cameras.

We couldn't see them with the naked eye.

And that tells me that we're not dealing

necessarily with something that's physical.

Uh, we could be dealing with something

that's another dimension, or another realm.

So, I know for a fact it was not an animal,

and it definitely was not a human.

Beyond that, uh, you know, your guess is as good as mine.

Think about what we've been told

by the former NIDS investigators,

about seeing amorphous things out here in the trees.

You know, they would appear, move around a bit,

and then fold in on themselves and disappear.

Right. You know, I-I didn't see

a monster crawl out of a portal,

-but what I did see was something I couldn't explain... -Are you sure?

...running across the field behind Homestead Two.

What I can take away from the experiment tonight is

that we played the rabbi's chant,

we saw a temperature anomaly again,

and we did see an unusual...

figure, object, thing,

uh, moving through the infrared camera.

Very similar features

to what we'd seen in the previous experiment.

I would say it's a success.

I still don't understand what it means.

Well, we got a lot of data.

We had some weird things happen.

We just need to go back and analyze the data

-and understand what it means. -KALEB: Yeah.

ERIK: I've got a few things going on here.

So, what I want to do

is take us out into the east field.

-TRAVIS: Okay. Gotcha. -Virtually.

TRAVIS: The next morning,

Erik called me and Dragon into his control room

to check out the surveillance footage

that was captured of the mesa at the same time

we were conducting our experiment at Homestead Two.

Watch what happens here.

-There. -TRAVIS: Right. Look at that.

Look at the mesa flickering right there.

-And look at the top over here. -Yeah.

-There it is. -There it is. -BRYANT: Sure enough.

TRAVIS: Look at that. The whole top of the mesa lights up.

That piece of the mesa

has a crazy history of us seeing things.

-Oh, yeah. -Ever since the beginning.

TRAVIS: Erik, Brandon and the team have captured

pretty dramatic surveillance footage in the past

where something

causes the entire mesa to light up at night.

-THOMAS: Whoa, look at that. -ERIK: Holy crap.

Hey, guys. We just noticed on the screen here a second ago--

You see the glow, the flicker? What is that?

TRAVIS: And just last year, during a laser experiment,

we observed a similar phenomenon

where the ridge appeared to be glowing.

-BRYANT: Yeah, it's almost like the outline of it. -TRAVIS: Wow.

So, while we were trying to figure out if this footage

we got of the mesa was connected

to what happened last night at Homestead Two,

suddenly, Thomas came rushing in

to alert us of something else.

All right. Well, yeah.

We definitely need to go put eyes on that.

Hey, guys, I just got a message that said

that something popped up on the Wi-Fi,

and it's unsafe.

-TRAVIS: Unsafe? -THOMAS: On our network.

-On the network? -And then it kicked me off on my computer, too.

Something may be hacking us or trying to get into the system.

It's behaving weird.

Security's a top concern here at the ranch,

whether it be the premises or whether it be our network.

And so when I see a notification like that pop up on my phone,

I'm very concerned

about what it could be

that's affecting our network,

whether it be an outside influence

or something here on the ranch.

So, if something is hacking into the Wi-Fi,

we'd see it on the spectrum analyzer.

ERIK: So, it's an SDR. Let me see...

TRAVIS: Well, pull it up.

Oh, crap! Look at that!

Look at this, look right here.

All the way across. You see these-- this little...

these ripples all the way across the floor?

The noise floor shouldn't look like that.

It should be just random. That's structured.

That is a signal. There's a signal right now on the ranch

all the way across the spectrum.

So, what could cause something like that?

I don't know. That is a manufactured signal.

That is not Mother Nature doing that, and we're not doing that,

so why is that here on the ranch?

This is a massive energy spike being detected

by the spectrum analyzer.

I'm not even sure how I could create a signal

of this magnitude,

kind of signal being detected.

The only thing I could think of at the time

that could cause this kind of energy spike

was something Albert Einstein actually had a theory about.

This might sound crazy, but what if

the only way to explain all these things is...

...with a wormhole.

I'm an astrophysicist who has been researching and studying

the plausibility of these kinds of phenomena

for more than 25 years,

but I never thought it would lead me to a ranch in Utah

contemplating the existence of wormholes.

I am picking up

the signal, and I have zoomed in on it.

It is southwest

from my Yagi tower.

Whatever was causing this energy spike

was not only overwhelming the ranch's network,

but, because it was so powerful,

it made me anxious of what could be causing it.

Guys, I-I'm leaving the ranch.

I'm getting a bad headache.

-TRAVIS: Are you serious? -I'm dead serious.

-Holy... -TRAVIS: Erik?

-ERIK: Yeah? -Go to 50 megahertz right now.

50 megahertz, it is-- it is

completely saturating the spectrum.

THOMAS: I'll come back when the signal stops.

BRYANT: I don't know what's going on, but it seems like

he's all out of sorts,

and seeing Thomas react in this way,

obviously, it raises concern because he has a history

of having injuries on this ranch.

TRAVIS: A couple years ago,

Thomas was digging out a road on the ranch

and he had a really startling and frightening experience.

It started with him getting a really bad headache,

and then he ended up in the hospital

in a very serious condition.

-TRAVIS: Tom, you all right? -My head is killing me.

TRAVIS: Last year, he also

suddenly got a bad headache

just after we witnessed that strange

glowing phenomenon on the ridge of the mesa.

-BRYANT: In that spot? -THOMAS: Right here, in that exact same spot.

to be moving around is pretty mysterious.

It's kind of suspicious.

Suggestive of something artificial.

on the land or, in fact, in the, in the sky above us.

to try to explain a moving source.

I've lost it again. It's not south anymore.

It's due west now.

with more than one of our cameras

for anything that shows up in the, uh,

beneath the cloud cover.

TRAVIS: I honestly have no idea

what is causing this signal.

It's a broadband signal that has structure

that's nothing like we use

in modern industry and communication systems.

If I wanted to reproduce it,

I'm not even sure how I would reproduce it.

But this signal's going on and on and continuing.

There is a transmitter here that's designed

in a way I've never seen.

-TRAVIS: All right, Erik. -Yeah, I've got you.

The signal has moved in frequency.

This is exactly what I've seen it doing before,

but there's so much structure to it

that it's clearly...

If this is an effect of these microwave and radio wave signals

and we've got these silos here on the ranch

that are thick steel all the way around.

So, you get inside it, and it's an electromagnetic quiet zone.

then what can we do to finally identify just what it is?

and say, well, if this was the culprit,
