there's a place called Oni Island, which is home to a shrine,

wherein there sits the Spirit Mask

that we've long used to summon the Snow Gods.

It's what makes the Snow Gods keep our home hidden from humans.

Why's it so important the village stay hidden?

[Gozen] You might understand a bit, now that you've become an oni.

No matter what country you go to or what era you find yourself in,

there will be those who can only live by suppressing their feelings.

These people need a place where they're safe and free to be themselves.
