Most people don't understand

what it's like to lose a parent,

and it's not something I
would wish on anybody.

To not be able to see my
mom or call my mom or hug her

or just be with her or spend
Thanksgiving and Christmas

with her... It's not
just difficult to me,

sometimes it's
downright painful.

She's gone, and all I have
left of her is a few photos

and a lot of really
good memories.

Unfortunately,
around the holidays,

the memories never
make me feel better,

they make me miss her more.

Then I start to miss
my dad and my aunt,

but it all starts with
missing my mom.

I don't know if I'll
go camping or not.

Maybe I'll stay here this year,
give Thanksgiving one more try.

But no matter what I do, I just
want you to know that I know

what it feels like
to lose a parent,

and even though I'm just
a kid, I'm available to talk

if you ever feel like
