... What enthusiasm!

Keep on going !

You should soak the whisk in vinegar.

That would make it even more bite!

Sodomite!

Degenerate!

Here's your breakfast, Sade!

It seems that you well groomed, Sade.

The curse hit you, Mirabel.

Catémites.

It is a heretic!

And for you, Benedict ...

the ax of the guard.

You well deserved it !

Antichrist!

Sade ...

What does your lordship here?

You left them treat you like a criminal?

My dear Duvall ...

Do not look away.

My beautiful face ... bother you?

It shocks you, perhaps?

Look at me, Duvall.

For heaven's sake, Sade,

forget me.

Duvall, look at me.

Look at me...

Alexandrle 1993

KLM flight 369 arrived, door 815.

Bob?

Bob Matteson?

Sabina! Hello.

What do you become ? It's been a while.

You take me by surprise.

I thought you liked that ...

No, I expect my daughter.

I see. Excuse me.

Genius!

Dad !

It's okay ?

Father God, thank you for the arrival of my daughter engineering,

and what we will receive. May we be grateful.

In the name of Jesus Christ ... Amen.

Our first meal together for six months.

This is a unique moment.

Fatima remains of potatoes?

Fatima is someone special.

A blessing. She will take good care of us.

This is one of the best periods of my life.

It's great, I work with people from all countries.

It's crazy !

- Are you treated well? - No catho as an archaeologist.

I somewhat expected.

It will be a big thing.

The first site

ever discovered major Gnostic.

They were heretics, right?

Destroyed in the fourth century BC

They called themselves Christians, but had nothing to do

with Christ.

You see,

the road is long, winding and many fail.

They believed that Christ was a spirit,

and God and Satan, one being.

Dad, I'm very happy for you.

I hope it works this time.

Whore!

They will leave me here until I rot.

All orders canceled. The petitions, rejected!

Yes, madam, you have maneuvered.

You mounted the king against me,

and my fate is sealed ... Sealed.

Silence!

But between these pitiful walls

my thoughts fly away! A thousand times,

I took my revenge on you, Madame de Beaumont.

Surely the day will come when I ...

... be avenged.

Sweetheart, you're awake?

There is someone for you.

Beth!

I leave you.

I go to work.

See you at dinner.

It is a happiness that God

we have gathered.

A real joy.

It's a blessing.

Goodbye dear.

It did not help.

Some things never change.

I am delighted to see you.

You look great.

Okay, where are you?

Type in your letters, what happens?

I found out the sex ...

Small Jezebel. The father "modesty" know?

He does not know anything.

I arrive !

Wednesday we go to races.

- At the races? - Horse in the desert.

You will love. With tents, drums and veiled women.

Awesome !

It is a pest! I go.

I want a cool drink.

A cola.

Hands off !

You come with me?

Let me go !

Heave your dirty paws!

By the way, my name is Sabina.

Hi, Sabina. Me is Genius.

Engineering, Eugenie Ann Matteson.

Your father would not be an archaeologist?

- You know him ? - I had to cross

to an embassy party.

Wait, you're a diplomat?

Not really.

It bothers you if you stop one minute in my house?

I can go on foot.

No, come on, I'll show you the house.

That's wonderful.

Come and sit down.

Viewing Alexandria.

Do not you think that minarets are absolutely ...

lovely?

I have an appointment with friends. That you mind if I take a shower?

I will join them directly.

I'm not in a hurry.

My father must be wondering where I am.

I'll just be a minute. Make yourself at home.

It's good to be liberated from the filth of this old city.

You fell on one of my little treasures.

She looks like me.

Yes ... there is a resemblance.

Madame de Beaumont.

One of the great courtesans, a mistress of the king of France.

She cast her lover, the Marquis de Sade in prison.

Have you ever read Sade?

One that inspired the word sadism?

Here, take this

in memory of our first meeting.

"Philosophy in the Bedroom" de Sade.

You'll be on your ass.

I'm not so innocent as that.

Welcome to your new country.

At our meeting,

and freedom.

I understand, but my daughter has just arrived here,

and I planned to take her into town.

Of course, I understand. This is a crucial moment.

If that's what you want ...

Do not forget your book.

What are you doing tomorrow night?

Nothing that I know of.

Perfect. So I hold back

- For a special evening. - Okay.

Good.

Yes I understand.

If necessary, you must.

Of course sir.

Enter.

I need to talk to you.

The woman you were with ...

You must never see her again.

Why ?

It got me out of a scrape.

I thank, God bless her,

but appearances are deceiving.

This woman

has a bad reputation.

The Lord says to hate the sin but love the sinner.

He also said to avoid ungodly.

It is not good to attend and libertines ... fornicators.

Sweetheart...

I am sorry,

but calls me on the site.

I would have liked to stay and show you the city,

but it is urgent there.

Okay.

Do not worry.

I do not see her again.

Promised.

Your keys. Thank you.

This is the Mecca of fun Alexandria.

- Nice to see you. - It's a pleasure.

Let me guide you.

- Good night, boys. - Good evening, couscous.

Boys or girls?

Nobody knows.

Come, get to the bottom.

nice asses!

Here !

This way.

Am I wrong to bring you here?

I do not want you pervert.

No, that would please me.

Yes, it could.

Take off your shoes.

- Why ? - So that he...

you clean the feet.

Inspire thoroughly.

Go ahead.

The sinner

undergo anger

our Selgneur.

He will punish the wicked.

By Heyman!

By Sheshem ... by Sheshem!

The Lord will see and apprehend ...

your wrath!

The young virgin

strives

to find for itself

companion

footloose and who, throughout the world,

it will secretly ...

... taste the pleasures of this world.

Come on, we're late!

Beth ... I just got up.

I saw you at the Mirage. Did not you dragged to what I see!

- Your father is there? - He returned to the site.

Hurry up, we're going to the races.

No question.

Genius, go!

No, Beth.

Come on.

No, I do not come.

I do not feel good.

It makes you feel good, right?

No.

The outdoors, dunes ...

Camel dung, flies, cholera ...

Chuck, shut up.

You, shut up!

Shut up !

How are you feeling ?

Like a needle in a haystack.

Awesome. We are almost there.

I bet he has 3 or 4 women.

Let's go.

You'll be damned!

You'll be damned!

You must drink.

I help you ?

It will be fine ?

Yes, it was just sunstroke.

Forgive you, my darling.

- It will be fine ? - Yes, it will go.

Here, for you.

Fatima, it was not necessary.

You gotta have that.

It keeps the bad, it protects you.

This country is strange, people are strange. I see...

- Thank you. - Good. Let's go.

Excuse me.

Excuse me ... Genius?

Mahmoud.

- Do you remember ? - Of course.

- How are you ? - Good.

Our servant, Fatima.

- You feel better ? - Much better, thank you.

Can I get you a drink?

Engineering, we go.

I do not believe.

You live here ?

No, in a village. In the desert.

Why not here ?

Too many people, too tacky.

In the desert, there was real freedom.

- And it's beautiful. - It must be paradise.

Life is difficult.

But I would not live anywhere else.

You want to know?

I would love.

You know up?

You want to ride with me?

Yes OK.

Let's meet here tomorrow to 13 hours.

Take shoes for the horse.

It's beautiful, right?

This is my home.

Take a seat.

You know...

I went to Paris, Rome, Athens.

Very beautiful cities ... but not like here.

Thank you for bringing me here. It is a magical place.

I have been away for 3 years.

My father wanted me to be a businessman.

He was ... ashamed to be a Bedouin.

I studied in London and I came to his death.

I can not do without the desert.

And you ?

Where do you come from ?

I do not know anymore.

Since my arrival in Egypt, everything changed.

I changed.

"History is full of examples

"Cruelty women.

"They say the cruelest

"only men.

"This is due to the extreme sensitivity ...

"Their bodies."

You see,

it is because of this natural inclination they have,

because of this instinct for cruelty

I want to get them used to be flogged.

Means by which the cruel man

can soothe his ferocity.

Pleasures

that gives esteem, Eugénie,

are nothing but moral pleasures.

Those of fornication, satisfy everyone.

There are thorns everywhere.

But the paths of vice, blooming roses.

Nature does not favors the muddy tracks of virtue.

Sens roses, Eugenie.

Meaning their voluptuous fragrance.

- They are weird. - No, rich.

The poor are weird. The rich are eccentric.

If I am égoste why I always do what you want?

What a bunch of pathetic.

Look at that old fart.

Good night, son. I finally know Beth.

That old bastard ... it's my father.

Good evening sir.

No "sir". I'm just an old scout

who dreams of being a patrol leader.

Madame de Beaumont ...

A sign me and you '.

You! What do you want from me ?

Revenge.

They could not break me and now I want my revenge!

A cruel revenge. Do you see,

Cruelty is the first feeling that nature injects us.

Cruelty exists in wild

which is closest to the nature

than is civilized man. Thereby,

Cruelty is natural.

You and I are one.

One...

Paul!

You must be engineering.

Sabina told me about you.

Paul Knight. Welcome.

How are you ?

How I go ?

That's a good question.

We do not have time to discuss it.

Are you enjoying my little party?

Frankly ?

Of course, of course.

It's different.

Kinda weird.

I have a sense of offbeat humor.

Like seeing people

to ridicule?

Absolutely.

You've already met.

I was wondering when you apparaîtrais.

Touched, Sabina.

I had a gift that you appreciate in Sabina.

Really ?

Yes, the book

the Marquis de Sade.

You know ?

Paul is a descendant of the Marquis.

I do not bear the sins of my ancestors.

I have the misfortune of belonging

a decadent aristocracy.

What do you think of the old rascal?

Genius ... my Eugenie.

I will do everything to pervert you,

debase you, you demolish.

You will also be criminal as I am,

as debauched, depraved.

Together we will blossom pink ... Sodom.

My father is an archaeologist and participates in excavations.

Yes, Professor Matteson.

I heard about the excavations.

I hope it will make discoveries.

What are you doing in this crappy evening? That sucks.

My friend, Sabina and ... Paul, our host.

Excuse me.

We have to speak.

I do not stop to argue with Chuck. He's an asshole.

What did he do ?

He wanted me ...

I felt so humiliated.

These people are sick!

Who stands now badly?

Chuck, go away.

Heard!

I do not want to stay here.

Wait for me.

Wait for me !

Sorry, I did not want to spoil the evening you.

It surprised me to see you there. Who invited you?

Sabina took her myself, she is a friend of Paul.

Why I go out with this pig of Chuck?

Perversion is hereditary.

His father sordid air.

It's worse than that.

What do you mean ?

I have to get out of this sect.

They make too much weird stuff.

Be careful.

Do not approach too much.

Farewell...

What do you want ? Do not hurt me!

Here Beth, I'm not there. Please leave a message.

Beth, it's me.

Call me back.

- Go get Dr. Matteson. - Right now.

Dr. Matteson, come quickly!

- This way. - What is it ?

Come see this.

It's amazing ... amazing!

There's another one out there.

We found !

God be praised. Alleluia.

It's going really well.

We came across some amazing stuff.

It's absolutely wonderful. Just incredible!

Quinrum, next,

this is chicken feed.

That's great, Dad. When you come back ?

As soon as possible.

But I am a little concerned about you.

I'm fine.

The house is well, all is well.

Good, my Cherle. I miss you.

You know, your dad ...

If all this materializes, your dad will be misfortune.

I love you sweetheart. Take care of yourself.

I call you later. Goodbye.

I see you've read Sade.

How do you find ?

This is the opposite of everything I was taught.

Do you think your father would appreciate?

You know my father, is not it?

Well, it might.

You know very well.

Yes ... sort of.

My mother jumped from a 22th floor window.

There have been rumors.

My father was lucky to be sent here.

Genius, I know ...

you suffered.

The Lord's Prayer.

Why "erman" is misspelled?

This is the Greek dialect.

Come and help me !

Alleluia.

Fatima?

Beth!

Fatima!

Everything is fine now. I'm here.

On August 16, G-3 site.

We do not yet have the measures of the grave.

Gnostics seemed to favor secrecy.

We have seen what appears to be the Lord's Prayer.

According to Howard, it is a code. Possible.

The most significant item we could find,

is a small box

about 40 centimeters

by 22 cm by 20.

It is decorated with primitive Gnostic signs.

Kit contents is surprising.

Wrapped in linen ...

Do wild dreams, darling ...

I prepared a potion that will soothe you.

Drink this, and it will get better.

No, all wood.

Good.

Everything is fine.

Hopefully, you're safe here.

I called the police. They are en route.

You're exceptional.

Truly exceptional.

Those eyes...

You have no idea how silly they made me do.

And those breasts ...

So painfully ...

perfect.

Twenty times I lost the head by kissing you.

Never listen to your heart, my treasure.

It is your most unreliable guide.

Your eyes are the mirror of your soul,

... and I want to own them.

There are thorns everywhere.

But on the way of vice,

blooming roses.

So where is he?

It will not be long.

I did not trust him.

It will not be long.

I did not trust him.

Please ! Sabina, listen, will you.

Listen to the music.

What grace, what sublime perfection.

And what ...

irony.

This piece of music was commissioned

a girls' school Province.

Must we hear now?

You pout when you get anxious.

your guest

arrived.

Good.

Very good.

Let me go out !

Let me go out !

Mahmoud!

- Thank God ! - All right, calm down.

It's alright, everything will work out soon. Do not say anything.

What are you doing ?

You're one of them.

I do not know

for what it is but ...

you are of them.

One truth: power.

The rest is impotence.

It was a test to overcome my fear of you.

I conquered my compassion.

Very touching.

I would not have said it better.

Continue, please.

It was all planned.

Each had played its role.

Why ?

Everyone must pay his fee. You were mine!

Who wants to be an eagle among the sheep?

I want to be among the eagles!

The first step is the hardest. You are not it!

Compassion, love,

pity ... It's good for the weak.

Thanks to you, I became powerful.

It is only you,

Mrs.

You should feel exceptional.

It was not easy to have you here.

You are crazy.

You all.

You are crazy!

You are all crazy!

Productive ...

not crazy.

We were very far

to pervert you,

... to vilify you,

and to clear your erroneous notions of ethics.

Even your father

has not been as devoted to you than us.

In fact, Mahmoud brought

a souvenir of your dear old dad.

Would you be kind enough to show him ...

that memory.

Look at it, please.

Look !

I fear that the party is over.

You did not have to do that!

Why ? Have I offended you?

- ... Eagles - Eagles.

Accomplices can be dangerous.

You see,

one of two things: either you have no accomplices,

is available in

as soon as you used them.

Yes.

Continually agitate you!

Look at me.

Look at me.

Stop looking at me!

Do not say anything.

Excuse me,

someone is there for you.

It seems to me you have said not to bother me.

It was Mr. Harrison.

Ladies ...

Sabina!

Small sluts, that's one thing,

but playing with the daughter of a diplomat,

it's trouble for all of us.

Beth's father alerted the ministry.

The streets teem with investigators!

Investigators ... Sir, it's time

you keep company your own business.

Listen to me.

Listen to me.

Listen, Sabina.

He'll kill you too.

Sabina,

we can be free.

Together.

Together.

Together.

Sabina, the time has come.

Have we ever felt

any natural drive

saying that we had to prefer other

to ourselves?

No.

We are born alone,

we live alone,

and we die alone.

Like it should be.

It's better.

This box was discovered in the excavations

fire your father.

It can contain

Ie secrecy of Christianity.

Do you see,

for 2 000 years

Ie Christ's message has been altered,

it was misinterpreted, hijacked,

used to enslave the masses.

But what a wonderful God that has given us.

A vengeful God, a God

sulfur, eternal tortures,

the cult of pain, blood,

martyrs, crucifixions, holy wars,

Death!

Okay, well ...

Ladies, if we ...

watched this treasure?

A scale ?

Just a balance?

Damn ... balance!

What? You do not get what you wanted?

Little Genius.

My Eugenie.

Madame de Beaumont.

Listen to me,

little whore.

I do not know

how I'll kill you.

Perhaps it will be

by hanging!

The torture of the wheel.

The yoke !

Rats !

burned alive.

It depends on my mood.

My jaw ...

Where's my jaw?

Sabina, have you seen ...

Here it is.

You will discover through

This transcendental agony

the complete loss of self.

Get away from her!

Bitch.

Give me a kiss.

The eyes

are the windows to the soul.

Goodbye, Mrs. Beaumont.

Quick, Sabina!

Quick !

Come. Come to me.

Stop.

Stop!

The balance !

The balance !

It is not too late, I hope.

He deserves to rot in hell.

For heaven's sake, can you treat a man like that?

He's yours.

Can you hear me, son?

Do you know who I am ?

Take your priest artifices, your full lips,

and kiss my ass.

Repent.

God forgives all. Do it before it's too late.

Before your soul will burn in eternal fire.

Imagine your finger in the flame of a candle, and multiply

Pain per mile.

Do not wait until it's too late.

Pastor, I see you

in hell.

Go where you deserve to go.
