did not give them such luck.

Over 500 members of the Cofradia,

men, women, and children, were massacred.

And Pule was executed.

IN 1900S, SPAIN WAS BEGINNING
TO LOSE CONTROL OF ITS COLONIES.

IN MEXICO, THE REVOLUTION
WAS LED BY A PRIEST.

IN THE PHILIPPINES, THE FIRE
IS ALSO SPREADING WITHIN THE CHURCH.

After Hermano Pule was killed,

the Spanish government
chopped up his body,

and put his head on a spike

would ever attempt what he did.
