that a number of his guests had been

heavy losers in the high stakes poker
game being run by professional gamblers.

The card parlor was a
Los Angeles residence.

The victims, all strangers in town had
no idea where the house was located.

Yeah, they dropped a
little dough, didn't they?

It was almost 20 grand, probably a lot
more the hotel manager didn't hear about.

dealers from the Middle West.

I began to win.

I discovered why.
