a decrease in the shops that we supply.

An international crisis
cannot be without influence

even on such a small market as ours.

How much larger then will be its effect
upon the bigger market?

I am certain that you, sir, will understand
the nature of my efforts

for there is no one better than you,
so thoroughly acquainted

with this arduous work

to see these problems
in the light of informed experience.

On the other hand, I find myself
in a position of responsibility

greater than the one
to which I was originally assigned

than my professional qualifications
