I expressed my reservations, as I had no experience in these areas.

However, she reassured me that my level of French was good enough to work in a café.

The training would not be difficult, and I would have more opportunities to practice French

than by being a cleaning lady.

She gave me a start date for Thursday. It was perfect for me

and I was excited to know where to look for a job
