And this in this tutorial covered the measure between and the purpose of these tool or the measure tool box is to measure some unknown distances.

For now we have this simple model, but sometimes in the more complicated models there is need to know some distances between parts and gears or other parts.

So let's activate the measure between and as you notice here you have the selection one, selection two and you can specify what to measure between.

For example, any geometry is the simplest one. You can almost use for example, if you point on an engine geometry, you are able to select it.

If you measure on the surface, you can notice that you can select the surface. If you point on that line, you can select it.

Now let's choose this surface and we already choose the point, so it gives you as zero millimeter. Let's skip. Again, let's activate the measure tool. Let's select this surface and this surface.

So we have the distance 20 millimeter. Press skip, measure and now you can filter here. Let's choose point and second selection to be point two.

So when you are over over the part, you are able to select only point, so this more control to your measuring and here are two big two points.

And the distance is 20 millimeter. And here on the customize, you have the minimum distance or maximum distance. We have this, but it's with the cone of distance thickness.

So this feature will not work, but in case you have inclined or or wave surfaces, this tool can be helpful.
