trick they play on us guys.

Whenever we do something

my own stuff together first,

and then I want to wash
these out and maybe get

a bite to eat.

- Say, the fishing's pretty
great up there, eh, Pop?

- Oh, there's nothing like
it in the whole country.

That's the reason it's so
difficult to get reservations.

See, the hotel owns the
lake, and unless you're

staying at the hotel, you're
not allowed to fish there.

They only take a limited
number of guests.

- Pretty big fish, eh?

- Oh, yeah.

Some guy caught a 10-pounder
up there last week.

- Halibut?
- Loch Leven.

- Hoot, mon.
- [laughs]

- Loch Leven's a trout, Mom.

- Oh, that's not
very big, is it?

- Well, sure, most trout
only around a pound or pound

and a half.

- Oh, I'd rather
catch a halibut.

- [chuckles] No, a halibut
is a saltwater fish.

This is fresh water.

- What's the difference?

- Well, you've got to
go down to the ocean

to catch a saltwater fish.

- Well, how about when
they swim upstream?

- [laughs] Those are salmon.

- Oh, well, I'll catch
a couple of salmon then.

- Not up at the lake, you won't.

- Well, what are we
going to catch then?

- Trout.

- Oh, that's not
very interesting.

- Oh, sure, trout
fishing is a lot of fun.

- Well, you said yourself,
they only way a pound or so.

Wait a-- what's all this?

- This is what I'm taking along.

- [chuckles] Oh, what's
this evening dress for?

- Well, don't they have
dancing up there at night?

- [chuckles] No, this
is a fishing lodge.

You go to bed early
at night so you can

get up early in the morning.

- Well, I can stay
home and do that.

- Fishing is supposed to be

- Well, I'll tell you what,
when you get back to the lodge,

you come upstairs and wake me
up and tell me all about it.

know Catherine is about dogs.

She's allergic to them,
especially long-haired ones.

time I ever heard that.

always comes back at night.

town, but I arranged

with my neighbor to feed
him and take care of him.

But evidently, the dog
didn't come home at all.

- Well, he seemed
quite happy here.

- I hope he wasn't
too much trouble.

- Oh, uh, not at all.

He-- he did kind of
change our plans a little.

- Oh, I'm terribly sorry.

Ordinarily, I wouldn't
have left without making

sure he was in good hands,
but I got this call, you see.

Well, for months
I've been trying

to get a reservation
at Rainbow Lodge.

Hey, did you ever hear of it?

- Rainbow Lodge?

Well, yeah.

- Then you'll appreciate
why I rushed off.

Can you imagine?

Friday night they called me and
told me somebody had canceled.

So I got three of my
friends and we tore up

there to take this
poor guy's reservation.

Hey, wait a minute.

Come to think of it, his
name was Nelson, too.

- What a coincidence, we w--

- [MOUTHING] No.

- Yes?

- Oh, well, uh, we, uh, we hope
to go up there some weekend

ourselves.

- Well, I hope you have
better luck than we did.

You know, it cost us a
fortune for the weekend,

and we didn't catch a
darn thing, not one fish.

Why, they had the worst
weekend of fishing they've ever

had at Rainbow Lake.

- Oh, that's a shame.

- Well, I should have
taken my wife's advice

and gone out on the ocean.

I understand they had the
best halibut fishing in years.
