and God made two great lights,

He made the stars also,

and to divide the light from the darkness.

Let the waters bring forth

abundantly
the moving creature that hath life

and every living creature that moveth,

We may eat of the fruit,

but of the fruit of the tree,
which is in the midst of the garden.

God had said, Ye shall not eat of it.

Neither shall you touch it lest you die.

And the serpent said unto the woman,

You shall not surely die for God to know
that in the day you eat thereof, then

your eyes shall be opened and ye shall be
as gods, knowing good and evil.

And when the
woman saw that the tree was good for food

and that it was pleasant to the eyes
and a tree to be desired to make one wise,

she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat

and gave also unto her husband with her.

And he did eat.

And the eyes of them both were opened
and they knew that they were naked

and they sowed fig leaves together
and made themselves aprons.

And they heard the voice of the Lord God
walking in the garden

in the cool of the day.

And Adam and his wife hid themselves
from the presence of the Lord God

amongst the trees of the garden.

And the Lord God called unto Adam

and said unto him, Where art thou?

And he said,
I heard thy voice in the garden.

And I was afraid because I was naked
and I hid myself.

Who told me that thou was naked?

Has thou eaten of the tree whereof
I commanded thee that thou should not eat?

And the man said,
The woman whom thou gave us to be with me.

She gave me of the tree. And I did eat.

And the Lord God said unto the woman.

Because thou has done this,

Thou art cursed above all cattle
and above every beast of the field

upon thy belly shalt out go and dust
shalt thou eat all the days of my life

And I will put enmity between the

Unto the woman he said.

I will greatly multiply thy sorrow

were dried up from off the earth.

Also, he sent forth a dove from it

to see if the waters were abated
from off the face of the ground.

But the dove found no rest

for the sole of her foot,

and she returned unto him into the ark.

For the waters
were on the face of the whole earth.

Then he put forth his hand and took her

and pulled her in unto him into the ark.

And he stayed.

Yet other seven days

and again he sent forth

the dove out of the ark
and the dove came into him in the evening

and lo in her mouth was an olive leaf

plucked off.

So no one knew that the waters were abated

from off the earth.

And he stayed yet

other seven days and sent forth the dove
which returned

not again unto him anymore.

And it came to pass in the 601st year.

In the first month,
the first day of the month,

the waters were dried up
from off the earth.

And Noah removed the covering of the ark

and looked and behold,
the face of the ground was dry.

And in the second month,

on the seventh and 20th day of the month

was the earth dried.

And God spake unto Noah saying,

Go forth of the ark, thou
and thy wife and thy sons

and thy sons wives with the bring forth

in his heart, I will not again

curse the ground any more, for man's sake,

for the imagination of man's heart
is evil from his youth.

Neither will I against smite anymore

everything living as I have done

while the earth remain of seed time
and harvest and cold and heat

and summer and winter

and day and night shall not cease.

And God bless
Noah and his sons and said unto them,

Be fruitful and multiply and replenish

and the fear of you and the dread of you
shall be upon every beast of the earth

and to his sons with him saying
