similar in composition

to the wood that was found
in Sergeant Wooten's hand,

and all heavy enough
to inflict the same sort of damage.

My goal was to see which one
best matched up with the head wounds.

By measuring the depressions
in the skull,

I deduced that the one
that came the closest

was the broom handle.
But here's the kicker:

it's not close enough.

The markings aren't as deep.

Which makes me think
that the weapon is smaller, so...
