and the IQ of a 10-year-old child.

Well, 10 is the age of criminal
responsibility so we're good to go.

hadn't been a victim of abuse,

An abusive childhood
might be convenient mitigation

These are the wrong defendants
to get all touchy feely over.

They end up in psych units, the Home

which one of them killed Ryan.

If she's not fit to plead,

as none of us are rocket scientists.

suffering from mental illness.

So, the only issue is her IQ
and her learning difficulties.

She was capable of concocting
a story

that her child had been abducted.

of standing trial.
