You are often insensitive, boorish,

at times even repugnant.

It is my right as an individual
to draw these conclusions,

as it is Rabbi Levin's right to be
personally offended by your character.

Where you are wrong,
however, Rabbi,

is in assuming that every Jew
must share your judgment.

And where you are
egregiously wrong

is in attributing
one man's conduct

to an entire race of people.

I'm not doing that. I'm saying
the general public does that.

Then it is you who are bigoted.

Mr. Wambaugh is a man.

Complete with human flaws.

If you're offended by him,
condemn him as a man,

not as a Jew.

But he's perceived as a Jew
and it hurts us.

You see that young woman
back there?

If she's an indication as to how
Mr. Wambaugh is perceived,

any religion
should be glad to have him.

It is the order of this beth din

that Mr. Wambaugh be readmitted
