my mom was not very maternal.

how to do my laundry

seven years old.

After my parents divorced,

my mom worked full time.

And she allowed my sister
and I to fend for ourselves.

As a kid, yeah, it was
kind of weird, you know,

but I'm probably gonna
be the exact same way.

- I have not read any books.

I'm trying to let go
of the control thing,

and know that ultimately

what's meant to be will be.

that my mom raised me,

beating himself up
and not put himself first.

And if he continues
this cycle with Naomie,

he's never gonna flourish.

With Thomas, like,
we would break up all the time,

lingering feeling,

that safety net.

But once I committed to, like,

a no-contact thing,

just being forced
to figure it out

has been really liberating.
