- Well, idlewild
was built in 1850.

General banks,

The union commander of
the red river campaign,

He had his headquarters here.

They also used it as a hospital.

Another layer of
history on this property

Is the fact that it was built on

What was originally a
native american trail

That was later followed
by the spanish explorers

Of their time.

We're hunting on one of
these old spanish trails

And it's no telling what
we're gonna find here.

And has a beautiful collection
of the artifacts he found-

And they saw a puma that was
dirty, had stripes on him.

So they thought it was a tiger.

So just to put
something on the map,

They said, "here's
tiger island."

And I'll go and show you

Where I swear I saw
a black panther-

of these islands.

on out and it had a tail.

- "that's a big cat."
- that ain't a cub.

- I just saw this
black cat-like thing,

But it was big, you know?

And I said, "man, that
looks like a panther."

- A real long, big tail.

- Okay.

- Really black, glossy, the
long, black, cylindrical tail.

- You got any proof of it?

You got any pictures?

- It's the sasquatch
of the river.
