you're being briefed on a project,

a top-secret program, Patriot.

It is a secret Soviet genetic research project,

started after the war in the late 1940s.

Hidden in covert labs throughout the Soviet Union,

experiments were performed on animals and humans.

August Kuratov is in charge of the innovative technologies

department on Patriot.

However, one of his colleagues reported he'd become obsessed

with his invention called Module One,

a remote designed to control any motorized vehicle.

Unfortunately, the experiments failed

and his entire department was shut down.

Upset by his failure, Kuratov was jealous

of his Patriot counterpart, Professor Victor Dovenravov.

As a department head of the Patriot's genetic program,

Dovenravov was extremely successful,

and the results of his superhuman tests

were recognized by his superiors.

Seeing his colleague recognized for his superior research,

Kuratov knew he was far behind.

Kuratov realized he had to do something.

His department and Module One had failed.

Above all, he too wanted to be seen as a great scientist,

so he set his sights to outperform Dovenravov.

Kuratov stole the professor's research

and began his own series of underground genetic experiments.

This resulted in several innocent people

becoming biological victims of his work.

Jailed for his transgressions,

Kuratov managed to escape

and took cover in his genetics lab.

A decision was made to storm the facility

and stop his madness.

However, Kuratov had turned the lab into a bomb.

[loud thud]

The explosion was massive.

Although it did not kill him.

The chemicals released in the explosion

altered his body's genetic structure.

He possessed unbelievable strength.

He became a force of one.

He successfully completed his Module One research.

This explains why we lost control of the machines

during our demonstration.

Even our own army doesn't stand a chance of neutralizing him.

There's only one way for us to track this animal.

The human subjects he created will help us stop him.

They must be found and convinced to help.

stole a space transmitter specifically created

for use at the army base at Baikonur.

Eyewitnesses stated that it appears all of the army base 's

armored vehicles assigned there had left the base

and it's now suspected that this may have been a factor

that allowed these thieves to make off with this transmitter.

[woman] In a related development, a massive influx

of military tanks are charging

quickly towards the capital, creating havoc.

No military spokesman has explained this--

[man] Conventional ground forces have been confounded

and are unable to coordinate any effective actions

to halt this massive influx of armored machinery

as they make their way towards Moscow.

This video shows that any vehicles blocking their way

have been laid to waste by this mechanized armada.

At this moment, citizens are evacuating the city,

resulting in massive traffic jams

and blocked roadways and surface streets.

Downtown Moscow has been leveled

by this unknown enemy force.

The amount of damage sustained to vehicles and structures

is incalculable.

Another question being asked is how can the chaos

and looting be stopped.

Kuratov, you know we made an agreement.

that no weapons from Earth can even reach it.

But in the late '80s Hammer was put into

non-operational status and jettisoned,

so it's been drifting out farther into space

away from Earth, that's what we believed.

but it appears our problems just got bigger.

We just finished decrypting the Module Two file,

and it appears Kuratov won't be stopping

at just accessing the Hammer.

Apparently, his plan is to take control

of every private and military communication satellite

currently orbiting Earth.

If he succeeds, he will control all machinery in the world.

He created Module Two so he can control the entire planet.

[Arsus] But to do that he'd need an extremely powerful

transmitter and a huge antennae, it would have to be the size--

[Larina] Ostankino Tower.

And Kuratov also recently took possession

of the Baikonur Transmitter.

Maybe these are all spare parts for his Module.

But that's not nearly tall enough.

He needs something that's at least 500 meters long.

Besides that, there's no such structure.

Actually, there is.

Federation Tower in Moscow City.

Federation Tower is over 300 meters tall,

and combine it with the Ostankino Tower,

they're over 900 meters.

- And that could create a giant-- - Antennae.

With these new improvements to your suit,

Your whip will not only affect the opponent

Because of these highly sensitive sensors Ksenia's wearing,

she can now become invisible whenever she chooses,

just by flexing her neck muscles to activate them.

This specialized suit will support this stealth function

and it will disappear with her.

Another compelling feature is that you can make any object

invisible by touching it...

For this to work, we should attack it from four sides.

You can use these special keys to circumvent the force field.

We salvaged this one during our last battle with the clones.

It would serve you well to obtain more of these keys

from the clone commanders that guard the outer perimeter.

Using beams and wires should be able to get us up that tower

so we can destroy Module Two.

Disable that Module and Tornado Team will finish things up.

They're going to destroy the whole Moscow City Complex

using rocket launchers.

So you'll all have to get out before it gets leveled.

to hold a press conference this afternoon.

Our armed forces were able to coordinate and concentrate

their firepower into one massive strike on this threatening force

which resulted in this group's defeat.

Experts theorize that some sort of a secret weapon

was used to repel this unknown force,

a weapon that's not officially listed

as part of the Russian army's arsenal.

Now that Moscow's citizens have been notified

that there are no more threats to life,

our capital finds itself slowly, surely returning to normal.

Those whose homes weren't destroyed

are happily returning to them.

As for those less fortunate,

they will be provided with housing during reconstruction.
