Kaspersky Small Office Security is designed to protect small businesses and includes anti-malware protection, software update management, vulnerability scanning, and other useful functionality. This product is adapted to infrastructures of approximately 5 to 25 devices. This number is large enough to require centralized management, but is not enough for hiring an administrator. That is why the optimal solution for managing this product is the web console, available on the Kaspersky website, named Kaspersky Small Office Security Management Portal. Starting with 10 to 20 devices, we can recommend Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud. Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud provides full fledged protection for workstations, servers, mobile devices, and office 365. Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud includes a set of components that is sufficient for reliable protection. Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud is designed for companies large enough to create configuration profiles for device groups, use notifications and regular reports, but not large enough to purchase and configure a full fledged Kaspersky Security Center Administration Server. Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud provides not only an account on a Kaspersky web server, which is the case with the Kaspersky Small Office Security Management portal, but also a fairly powerful administration console. It is deployed on cloud servers managed by Kaspersky Specialists. A Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud License allows a customer to connect up to 999 users to each workspace. In this case, the term workspace describes a virtual administration server that a company uses to manage security on its devices connected to Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud. For larger infrastructures, Kaspersky Endpoint Security for business is optimal. This product has several versions with different sets of components. Unlike Kaspersky Small Office Security and Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud, Kaspersky Endpoint Security for business permits deployment of its administration server and console not only in the cloud, but also on an on premises server. Let's sum up what Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud is designed for infrastructures that consist of windows and macOS workstations and servers in Android and iOS mobile devices. Geographically distributed infrastructures that comprise several small offices or users who work remotely. There are two main scenarios when using Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud, or protection of small and mid-sized infrastructures, as described earlier in protection services delivered by managed service providers. In both cases, a Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud license has a limit on the number of connected users no more than 999 users per workspace.
