Or they may be tempted by
the shorter four-and-a-half-hour

ferry to the Port of Livorno,
in Italy, to take advantage

of affordable trains, hugging
the rugged coast up to Milan,

close to the Italian lakes.

My mum's always encouraged me to try
things, so it's no surprise to me

that when I asked her about Race
Across The World, she literally

jumped at the opportunity.

career, it's all been about winning,

there for a long weekend

I definitely feel some sort
of attachment to France.

She had a really badly twisted
