All language subtitles for Procolor_C12_L1C_Groups

In this section, we're going

to be setting up groups
for the various shots in our timeline.

At this point, these great timeline,
you shouldn't do this.

You should stay on start.

But this is just so
that we have my timeline

and you can look at it later
when you download this in the future.

Oh, boy.

So other than this, as cases grade

your should say start,
everything else will be the same.

Let's explore how we might want to group
these various shots.

I'll go ahead and open up
the lightbox here.

We have a lot of the same angles here.

All of these shots are the same basic

angles, same setup,
and so we could add those to a group

so that we could easily select and filter
our shots, copy changes in between them.

And I think that's
what we're going to do here, first of all.

So going to select everything
that is the setup of my angle,

right click on any of them and we'll say
add into new group and we'll call this

KC and hit.

Okay?

And if we go up to the upper left
hand corner and click on this little eye

for information,
we'll have the information

about all of these little clips,
including a little green chain link here.

This signifies
that these are all in the same group.

We're going to do the same thing
for Sam's angle, and I'm actually

going to include this
kind of a zoomed in version as well.

So anything that is the same basic angle,

just control, selecting all of these clips
so they're all red

and then I'll right click on any of them,
add into a new group,

call this Sam.

What's really neat now

is since we have quite a few shots
that are grouped,

I can go over here to this upper left
hand corner

and open our clip filter
and scroll down to grouped

and I can see just the case of
group or just the same group.

I even have
a custom filter down here for no group,

so this will show me anything
that isn't part of a group.

And this one right here,
this needs to be part of the case group.

So we'll say

groups.

Casey assigned a group

and we'll switch off of this and back on
and it will go away.

Then we have our wide shot.

So I'll control click all of these

right click
any of them added to new group wide

switch off of no group and back.

And it's not

filtering this for some reason,
but we can get the remaining ones here.

So this is the grill groups

added to new group

grill

and those are the main groups.

So the product shot is going to
be in its own kind of thing.

But now we can easily filter our project,

which is really nice.

We can also have this filter on here
and the clips

we just go out to where it says
clips and use the dropdown

and we can filter them just like that.
