Um, so I am looking at
the newest Penthouse right now.

And, um, funny enough, I'm in it
even though I am highly retired.

I remember it being really hot.
I'm in full rubber

and I still look like
I'm enjoying myself.

Bob Guccione, what a story.

My industry will never
be the same.

There's something really special
about seeing a...

incredibly beautiful woman

getting (BLEEP).

He knew that this was what
people wanted to see

and he had balls enough
to do it.

It changed everything.

JOHN COLAPINTO: There was really
only one Bob Guccione

that starts the dirtiest
magazine in America

and becomes one
of the richest men in the world.

He made women feel so beautiful.

He was a cool mother... (BLEEP).

MAN: Their business
is rude, nude and lewd.

COLAPINTO: Bob wanted
his children
to create a dynasty.

Our family revolved around sex.

Kinda creepy.

And he says that he needed
to have a look at me.

Glamor, mystery, pubic hair...

All that money disappeared.

He lost everything.

Do you lose sleep
that it's all slipping away?

(CAR HORN HONKING)

NICK GUCCIONE: There it is.

I used to live on the top floor,
(CHUCKLING) actually,
on the sixth floor.

So it's pretty wild
just to think back

at the opulence, I guess,
we had.

It was an amazing place,
actually. Amazing.

We had all the money
in the world at that point.

It was kind of
a fantastical place.

It was... Wasn't real,
you know, in a way.

(JAZZ MUSIC PLAYING)

(ALL SPEAKING INDISTINCTLY)

DARREN WINSTON: This is
the family reunion in 1987.

So you see Bob on the right,
Bob and Kathy there.

And this is
the entire family.

I know it probably looked
ridiculous from the outside,

but, you know, I thought
we were a normal family.

Me and my cousins
remember, you could call it
"the glory days."

And I liked being part of that.

(ALL CHEERING)

WINSTON: My mom is one
of Bob's twin sisters.

My mom and Jackie.

My mom and Bob's relationship
was very close.

I was four years old when my mom
started working for the company.

My mom was
the head of administration.

My grandfather
was the treasurer.

NICOLE SABATINI: My mom, Jackie,
and my Aunt Jeri are twins.

Pornography was
part of my worlds,

you know, from day one,
essentially.

You know, my mom worked
at Penthouse for a time,

and then we had a mail-order
business out of our house.

There was always
Penthouse laying around.

I used to read the letters
to my friends.

So as far as I was concerned
growing up,

it was just... I don't know,
it was just a family business.

I think he wanted us all there.

My brothers had gone.

Bobby had walked out with...

Tony and Dad had a falling out,

and Nick was kicked out.

So it was just me.

It was the late '90s
and I took over, sort of,
the New Media department.

And I think for Dad,
it was more of a trust thing.

You know,
he trusted his daughter.

They say about the magazine,

circulation went down, yes?

-Yes. Circulation of...
-From a high of 4.9 and...

...all magazines,
all newspapers and book sales

all decreased at the same time
and in generally,
the same proportion.

-Revenues went down.
-Yeah. And the reason
for that was...

It's not the product
that we sell,

that's not going out of style.

What does go out of style
is the means of delivery.

NINA GUCCIONE: We were losing
money every month,

but Penthouse was still one
of the top five brand names

in the world.

And we were looking
to take advantage of that,

especially through the Internet,
because that was

the up-and-coming potential
moneymaker for the company.

He spent a lot of money
on these interactive CD games.

MAN: You're gonna have to wait
a couple of years

for this technology,

NINA: They were embarrassing.

And Kathy would go on TV

saying someday,
everything's gonna be
computerized.

You do not have to appear
in virtual reality as you.

-You can appear as
a fantasy creation of yourself.
-MAN: Yeah.

I'm like, "Are you nuts?"

And I was not
qualified or prepared.

We used to joke about it.

What's the Internet? (CHUCKLES)

Yeah.

Kathy sent me a little computer

and it sat in the box
'cause I'm like,

"What am I gonna do
with this thing?"

I was like, "Oh, my God,
I just learned how
to use an electric typewriter."

I didn't know what it was,
you know?

I think I may have had a modem,

but I didn't know
what it was at the time.

(BEEPING)

PETER BLOCH: It was
a real threat.

You know,
once things are on the Internet,

you don't have to go out
and buy a magazine.

NINA: Nobody knew how
to make money on the Internet.

It was this wild west of...
Of material and content.

NICK: Dad had no idea
where to go, you know?

He was like, "Oh, all right,
Internet, this is great.

"Well, what do we do now?
I don't know."

He couldn't grasp it, you know?

So Dad tried to create something
that was groundbreaking again
and controversial.

At the beginning, of course,
that was his big success
against Playboy,

that he showed pubic hair
and Playboy didn't.

And that worked in the '70s.

And so the magazine

got hotter and hotter.

Hi, I'm Jenna Jameson.

I'm just the girl next door
that has a really filthy mind.

And I'm famous for it.

Even at a young age,
I would sneak into my dad's room

and steal his dirty magazines,
namely Penthouse .

And I just remember
thinking to myself, "Wow."

To me, it looked like power.

It didn't look like someone
being sexually exploited.

I thought, "Wow, these women
are extremely beautiful,

"and they own their body."

And I just...
I wanted to be them.

Or be with them.

And so,
it was a little confusing.

(LAUGHING)

I knew I was gonna be famous
in the adult industry.

My main goal was to be
a Penthouse centerfold

because it was
beautiful and graceful,

but so hard-edged.

Playboy wouldn't touch me

because the minute
you spread your legs,

you're not Playboy material.

I owe a lot of my fame
to Penthouse

and Bob, who believed in me
because I understood his vision

and he was very exact about

what he wanted to see
in the layouts and the imagery.

I was smitten with him

like not sexually,
but just as like,

he just had this presence
that was incredibly special.

Same shot again, right.

He could have gotten me
to do anything.

There were shots, I remember,

with these candles
that were crystal.

"Could you put the bigger one
in your (BLEEP)

"and the smaller one
in your (BLEEP)?

"It's not that big."

Whether it was a (BLEEP)
or (BLEEP) sex,

uh, where you couldn't
really see it.

He got into (BLEEP).

I mean, this is...
This is as hard-core triple X
as it gets.

I saw the beauty in it.

And there's something so

dirty and sexy about
seeing some...

Something that you're not
really supposed to see.

Penthouse was going through
a big urination period.

And we all said,
"Dad, don't go there.
Stick with what worked."

He didn't listen.

And all of a sudden,
they're peeing everywhere.

Everybody's peeing,
pee, pee, pee.

I remember doing it and just
being like, "I can't..."

Like, "I can't believe
I'm doing this."

It was shocking
and beautiful and...

groundbreaking.

(PRODUCER SPEAKING)

Yeah. Me and...

everybody who walked
through the door. (LAUGHS)

BLOCH: I mean,
if anybody tried to talk him out
of doing hard-core things,

it was Kathy. She said,

"If you run those shots,
we're gonna lose
a major advertiser."

They started backing out

because the magazine
was getting too raunchy.

They didn't want to be
associated with it.

So without
the advertising revenue,
you can't survive.

It was doomed.

I'm Sunny Leone.

I'm a Bollywood film star
and actress.

(CROWD CHEERING)

And it really did
all start with Penthouse.

NICK: Sunny Leone.

Lovely girl,
who's like Marilyn Monroe
in India, you know.

LEONE: I'm from a very typical
Punjabi family.

My parents are the type
that fast-forwarded through
a kissing scene. (LAUGHS)

In high school, I was part
of this group called FBLA.

It was Future Business
Leaders of America. (LAUGHS)

And, um, I remember
always thinking,

"One day I'm gonna make
my own money,

"and I'm gonna get
whatever I want,

"and I'm gonna work
really, really hard."

(NICK SPEAKING INDISTINCTLY)

NICK: I remember shooting her.

She was gorgeous.

Hi, I'm Sunny Leone.

I was the March 2001
Penthouse Pet.

Oh, somebody gave me
a number to an agent,

and he introduced me
to a photographer
who sent in my pictures.

And he said, "Penthouse wants
to shoot with you.

"And if you're a cover
and a centerfold,

"you get paid..."
I think it was like $10,000.

Um, and I was like, "Really?

"That takes me about
two or three years
to make that much money,

"and I'm gonna make that
right now?"

I became
Penthouse Pet of the Year.

Being Pet of the Year
meant you get $100,000.

I don't know about
a lot of people,

but when you're about
20 years old,

you don't have a dollar
to your name, (CHUCKLES)

or you're just starting
to make money.

$100,000 is like
winning the lottery!

It's amazing.

The girls ended up
making a lot of money.

LEONE: At the end
of every three months,

I was supposed to get a check
for $25,000.

And I got the first one.

And I don't remember
if it was the second
or the third,

I wasn't getting my money.

At the end of the day,
we're running out of cash.

(TELEPHONE RINGING)

LEONE: I called up
all the people in the office.

I've called
the accounting department,

I've talked to so many
different people.

and I'm getting nothing
but the runaround.

And after so many weeks
of no answers,

I decided I'm gonna
go behind everybody,

and give Bob a call
and ask him what's going on.

I met him, I was alone.

I was so... I was so nervous.

And I said, "Listen,
I don't know what's going on.

"People are lying to me.
No one's giving me the truth.

"I just need a clear answer
and, you know,

(CHUCKLING) "I'll be on my way."

And he excused himself
for a minute.

And when he came back...

(PEN SCRATCHING ON PAPER)

...he handed me a check
for $25,000.

Like a handwritten check.

I wish I would have kept
a copy of this, by the way.

Let's just say that...
The office?

Oh, they were not happy at all.
(CHUCKLES)

They were so mad at me
that I went behind their back.

After that,
my checks were never late.

You should never be afraid
to ask for your money,
by the way.

The magazine was changing,

shooting things more explicit.

For me, that wasn't something
of interest at that moment.

Then also at that time,

I remember hearing
that financial situation
was really bad.

They were laying people off,
or so many different
rumors that you heard.

So then, you know,
I... I got a grasp
of what was going on.

What's happened to the magazine?
What's happened to Guccione?

-What's happened
to the flagship?
-(CLEARS THROAT)

Well, I'll explain
that in a flash.

Last year, for the very
first time in 31 years,

Penthouse lost money.

-Lost money?
-Lost money.

They say about $9 million.

COLAPINTO: You know,
his financial trouble
was so scary

that I couldn't sleep
at night hearing about it.

I mean, I really wondered,
"How is he holding it together?"

But he always thought
that he could
turn Penthouse around.

NINA: One of Kathy's jobs was

she had to try and undo
everything he was
getting himself involved with.

Everybody looked at Kathy
like she was this awful witch.

But really, what she was doing
was just trying to save Dad.

Always trying to save Dad.

A memo went around
from Kathy instructing

that all checks going forward

be signed by her
and one of the other executives.

And my mom was summarily
let go shortly thereafter.

I never really
knew the whole story.

I know it was about money.

What could make you never want
to speak to your sibling again?

I just... I don't know.

But it just seems to be like
something that (LAUGHS)
happens in our family.

You know, you disagreed

or you did something
someone didn't like
or felt offended by?

(WHOOSHES) Gone.

That's the Sicilian way.

My mom was cut off

and by extension, I was cut off.

Bob never spoke to her again.

What a stupid way
to treat your family.

(SNIFFLING) It was complicated.

I never spoke to him again
after that. (SNIFFLES)

I can never say this without...

I think at the time,
I blamed Kathy
'cause it was very easy to.

In retrospect, I think
that it was Bob's decision,

and it was easy to hate Kathy.

NINA: She knew
that they hated her.

I did too,
and I was very open about it.

I don't think I realized
how much Dad loved her,
and how much he needed her.

She fed his ego.

She protected him.

What kind of a girl
does appeal to Bob Guccione?

Well, I like girls
who are very cerebral.

I like girls that are svelte.

I don't necessarily
like big-busted women.

Um...

I like girls rather like
Kathy Keeton.

ARLENE HERSON: You met
Bob Guccione in London.

He actually changed
your whole life.

It seemed like
we'd always been together.

We were always
meant to be or something.

I think that Bob and Kathy
loved each other deeply
till their dying day.

Whatever the rest
of the world thought,

that was a relationship
that stuck.

Kathy started getting sick,

and was diagnosed with cancer.

And Dad couldn't deal with it.

It was very sad.

She was only 56 when she died.

It would have been
a great opportunity for my dad

to then reach out
to his immediate family,

but he didn't do that, no.

If anything,
it had the opposite effect.

He just went further back
into his cave.

NINA: In my thirties,
when I started
getting closer to her,

I apologized to her every day
for the rest of her life
for the way I treated her.

(LAUGHING) And she was saying,
"You don't have to."

Like she loved me
and I loved her.

So it was heartbreaking
for me to lose her.

Kathy was very instrumental
in helping the machine run,

and Dad left a lot
of responsibility to her.

So when she passed,
it was the beginning
of the end, unfortunately.

NINA: There was
no accountability.

And Dad got slammed with,
like, a $50 million tax bill.

Whoops. Forgot to pay our taxes.

And when you don't
pay your taxes,

they come and take everything.

Bob asked Nina
to run the company

or to be the top executive
in the company.

She just was not cut out for it,

and she didn't frankly
have the knowledge

to run a company like that.

I used to go down
to the financial department

because I couldn't read
the, uh, the financial reports

and I'd ask the guy
to go over everything with me.

What does this mean?
What does that mean?

And it was sort of horrifying
to see this big cash cow
shriveling up.

Aren't you in trouble
if you have to take out
the kinds of loans you do,

and have to use
your extraordinary
art collection as collateral?

We... (CLEARS THROAT)
Well, we have the...
the bond debt.

We have to pay
interest on the bonds.

-Somebody wrote...17.5%, so...
-(CLEARS THROAT)

We have other...
Other, uh, loans.

NINA: They had to borrow money
and issue a set of bonds.

Essentially, they were,
uh, now playing
with other people's money,

and there was
accountability for that.

The problem was Dad
was never gonna
relinquish control.

(ALL SPEAKING INDISTINCTLY)

NICK: I wasn't involved
with Penthouse at that time.

Thank God I had
enough savings to live off.

I mean, I was divorced.

I did want to continue to shoot.

I was shooting
in Prague and Budapest.

I wanted to move on
from the family
and branch out and go elsewhere.

NINA: At the time, I was living
in the city and living with Dad.

But I missed my brother, Bobby.

And I remember...

You know,
in my feeble little way,
you know, trying to patch it up.

And a couple of times
I snuck Bobby into the house,

past the guard,
we had an armed guard
at the front door,

and then I'd go upstairs
and say,

"Dad," you know,
"You come downstairs
for a minute."

(LAUGHING) And then
Bobby would be standing there

and Dad would look at me
like, "I should kill you."

And he would just walk out.
He would say nothing, walk out.

It was like,
Bobby's out of my life now.

Bob hired a lot of really
smart people and good people

and almost uniformly
just didn't listen to them

and discarded their advice.

Let Dad keep his company.
That was... That was my goal.

How do we save
the company for Dad?

Not for inheritance, you know,

and we started
working on this plan.

It was nicknamed "Panacea."
(LAUGHS)

and they came up
with a restructuring plan

with certain guidelines
that had to be followed,

and stricter rules.

They wanted people on the board.

You know, we had
a board of directors,

which really was just
a friendly board to Dad.

He caught wind of it
at the wrong time.

Somebody just presented it with,
"Do you know what
your daughter is doing?"

And he went berserk,
he went absolutely berserk

and he thought I was trying
to steal the company
from him and betray him.

When he felt betrayed,
you were dead to him.

I left the company.
I left the house. I left him.

And I think my parting words
to him was just,

"You're gonna lose everything.
You're gonna go bankrupt
within six months."

And...

And I think I was
pretty much on target.

MAN: Type the word "sex"
into an Internet search engine
like Google,

and you will get
180 million hits.

BLOCH: As the Internet evolved,

uh, a lot of the models
could start their own brand

and they didn't need
Bob and his photography.

I mean, they could just
sell directly to consumers.

LEONE: The industry
was definitely changing.

I moved towards
the online things

because that's really where, um,

I felt the business was headed
towards at that moment.

I ran my own site
that offered memberships

and... And that's where, um,
a lot of my money came from.

With the internet

now, all the work

is in my living room.

I think anybody that has
somewhat of a fan base,

they can find their people

and they can, uh,
milk it on the Internet now.

Well, I went from a centerfold

to the biggest adult movie star
in the world.

My jumping off point
was Penthouse.

MAN: The industry has its own
major stars like Jenna Jameson,

a teen beauty queen turned
showgirl turned porn actress

who reportedly earned more
than a million dollars last year
performing sex for money.

It's just like being
Julia Roberts,

but just a little bit...
A little bit further.

One step further.

When I first started
my production company
Club Jenna,

I sat down with my partners
and I said,

"Listen, we're going
to produce films
that are incredibly hard-core,

"but we're going
to shoot it beautifully.

"The art direction is gonna
be just..." (KISSES)

And that's what set me apart.

I learned a lot
from Bob Guccione,

and it... It helped mold me
into the businesswoman
I am today.

I had the golden touch.

I came in
at the exact right time,

and that's where Penthouse
wavered a little bit.

It didn't keep up with
what was really happening.

MAN: Publisher of Penthouse
magazine could be
out of a house soon.

Bob Guccione faces a midnight
deadline to vacate
his Upper East Side townhouse.

He's in a huge financial hole.

Now, we're told his creditors
say he can have another week

to come up with the $17 million
he owes them.

COLAPINTO: When I interviewed
Bob Guccione, it was 2004.

He was in terrible,
terrible financial trouble.

It was horrifying.

I was told,
"You can come to the house."

You know, I went in to this
remarkable double-wide mansion.

And down he came,
this marble staircase.

He was kind of regal.

I mean, he was standing tall.

He was letting me know
he was unbowed,
uncowed, unbroken.

So this was a man
when I sat down with him
that was seeing,

"My God, if I stand
on this railroad track
long enough,

"a train actually will come."

I just felt like saying to him,

"Bob, why are you calmly able
to sit here being interviewed?

"Because you're
in real trouble."

He was talking, he said,
"I don't know
anything about business."

He said, "You don't even know,
I don't even know
what that thing's called,

"you know the...
Oh, you know, the, uh,
accountant thing, you know,

"with the numbers
and the in and out

"with the money,
the accountant thing."

Like, he just didn't know
what a profit and loss statement
was called.

He didn't care.
And he wasn't kidding.

Like, he just didn't...
He couldn't bring
himself to care.

I think he thought if he cared,

he couldn't be
the artist he was.

So this was a man who dug
his own, sadly, financial grave.

(PAPERS RUSTLING)

WINSTON: What we've got here
is a catalog from Sotheby's

when Bob's art collection
was put up for sale.

And these paintings are ones

that I grew up seeing
on the walls in his house.

They were effectively
taken away from him,
you know, the bank sold them.

I think they could have stripped
the house of everything
and left the paintings

and he would have
been disappointed,

but I think this probably
broke his heart.

BLOCH: Kathy had died
by this point.

And he's, you know,
whatever is going on
with the family,

you have all these,
you know, fights
and estrangements and things.

So I just think there were
a lot of pressures on him.

I think he must have been
very depressed.

He would never admit it to me.

NINA: After I left the company,
I went out and got
my own apartment,

and stopped talking to him,

which of course,
he doesn't notice
(LAUGHS) for some time.

I got on with my own life.

And then, Dad was diagnosed
with throat cancer.

He was known for this very
deep, seductive voice.

And he lost his voice.

He lost the one thing
that he enjoyed the most
and that was eating.

He loved cooking, loved eating.
And he couldn't eat.

You know, he couldn't swallow,
so he couldn't eat.

It was very sad,
it was almost that, that was

like, the basics you think
nobody can take from you.

You can take my house,
you take everything else.

But, you know,
I can still enjoy the basics.

Well, he couldn't.

JAMESON: When I first found out
Penthouse was struggling,

my first thought was,
"Okay, it's mine."

(CAR HORNS HONKING)

He lost everything.

You know,
he really had nothing left.

JAMESON: I remember
getting the news

that Penthouse
was having trouble.

And...

so I automatically thought
to myself, "I'm gonna buy it.

"I'm gonna do everything
in my power to buy it

"and, um, seal in
what Bob Guccione built."

I wanted to preserve it.

We hopped on a private plane
and got there

and we pitched and pitched

and Bob and I
had a few discussions

about me coming on
and taking over everything,

and it was something
that he wanted also.

Um, but the bottom line
is money is what matters.

And at the end of the day,

I just... I was outbid.

After that, I...

could tell that something
had really changed.

Bob didn't have
that same fire in him

and he sounded really defeated

and he knew that everything
was done, it was over.

And it was sobering
to hear him like that.

He had this girl, April Warren,
who became his wife.

Kathy wanted April to marry,
uh, Bob when she died,

she already set that up.

It would have been nice
to have seen my dad
have somebody in his life

that meant something
to his family and to him.

But you get what
you give in life, man.

My dad was...

I love my dad, but he was only
concerned about himself and...

And very egotistical.

NINA: I think
he had been so humbled
by what he'd been through.

He wanted to reconcile.

I got a call. "Would you come
see him? He wants to see you."

And I was like, "Yeah, sure."
(LAUGHS) "You know,
yeah, right, of course."

And he was a completely
different person.

Actually, that was
the first time I remember

I walked in the house
and saw him

and he hugged me.

He was 72 years old,
he hugged me,
first time he's ever hugged me.

He had become this loving,

empathetic,
sympathetic individual.

It was like having
the father I never had
for the last year of his life.

They moved back
to New Jersey and moved
into my mother's old house.

It was the only place he had.
He had his three dogs.

And I remember thinking
while this was happening

that I cannot believe
that "Bob Guccione,"

in quotations, is living
in this shit-ass house.

I... I did visit him,

but he was out of it.

I don't even know
if he knows I was there.

And then he died.

To me...

he was already gone.
You know what I mean?

Years and years ago,
he was already gone.

Bob Guccione has died.

At one time, he was one
of the wealthiest men
in America.

He sat atop a publishing empire

all because pictures
of naked women
made him a very rich man.

WOMAN: Penthouse, which included
full frontal nudity,

was billed as the magazine
of sex, politics and protest.

NICK: All he had to do was leave
each of us one painting

and we would have been
fine for the rest of our lives.

The empire was gone

and his last vestiges of worth
also went,

which were few and far between.

Nothing really changed.

It wasn't like I had
a void in my life after that,

or any of us kids
because we never had him
in the first place.

So much died that day.

You know,
fractures that weren't reset

and, uh, questions
that just never got answered.

NICK: I've never
been here before.

When I go,
I'm gonna get cremated

so my ashes are scattered

to the four winds.

Dad.

All right.

(EXHALES)

Uh, may God bless you, Dad.

Love you. Miss you.

I wish we could have
been closer.

(BLOWS)

I'll always thank you
for everything.

Kind of strange, it's so simple.

No gravestone, no memorial.

That's depressing.
I didn't know that.

I thought, at least
he'd have a gravestone.

Something a little more fitting
to his, uh, accomplishments.

I'm proud of my dad
and I love my dad
and I miss him.

He's gone now.
And, uh, that's a lesson
for us all.

No matter what you do,

you're gonna wind up in a hole.

What do you think is the biggest
misconception about you?

It's hard for me to say
because there are

so many different, uh...

views of me, I suppose,
that the public takes.

JAMESON: Bob Guccione
had a vision.

He understood
that women are beautiful
and should be put on a pedestal.

With no clothes on, by the way,
and with one leg up on the side.

What he accomplished
in the sexual revolution,
it was profound.

He made women feel so beautiful
and be able to achieve so much.

And it was the beginning
of the porn industry
as we know it today.

LYNN BARBER: The fact
of the matter is what
Bob did liberated a lot of us.

Might be a little harder
for me to say that

if I had been having
to take my clothes off.

(CHUCKLES)

Without Bob, the glamor is
definitely long gone.

WINSTON: If I have to say,
what's the worst part
of his legacy

is that he said it's okay
that this is something
to... To strive for,

that, you know,
women should be
viewed as objects,

and if their boobs
are a bit bigger,
that's even better.

Like, (WHISPERS) oh, God.

(IN NORMAL VOICE)
You know, thank you
for setting the world back

another 150 years.

KENNEDY: I was devastated
when he died

because I felt like
I never got closure.

You know, I want to be married.

I want to have children,
you know?

And I couldn't do that.
For years, I couldn't do that

because I was wrapped up
in this world.

And then to not give me closure,

why wouldn't you just
give me that?

JANE HARGRAVE: So I had
to find out a way of mattering,

of my life mattering
to somebody,
if not only just to me.

DAVIDA PERRY: He preyed
on the vulnerable.

That's what predators do.
That's what sexual harassers do.

my father used to always say

that there are certain people
in the world

that have this way about them
that pull you in

and make you want to be
a part of them on some level.

And Bob was one of those people.

NINA: I am so disconnected
from the past life,

sort of losing this whole
Penthouse and Guccione persona.

You can't discount
what you did for a living,

but I don't want anything
to do with that past life.

Yeah, my life
has changed so much.

I... I'm completely
a different person now.

I am a Christian
and I have so little now

and I have lost so much in terms
of stuff and things and money.

But I've never felt
more fulfilled.

(EXHALING)

I'm not interested in money.
That's probably why I'm broke.

and the baby. My boy, Ben.

He neglected his grandchild

changed diapers,

I used to bathe him,
we used to play in the bathtub
