Yes, that's right. Among many characters in dramas,

we'll give the Supporting Role Award to people who stood out.

The most sought-after stars of the year,

Han Hyun Min and Lim Se Mi, will present the awards.

Let us give them a warm welcome.

Hello, I'm a model, Han Hyun Min.

Hello, I'm Lim Se Mi.

It feels surreal to see people I usually see from dramas in person.

Even right next to me...

Yoo Ji Yeon of "Terius Behind Me" is standing right next to me.

- You look better in person. - Thank you.

Can I take a photo with you after the awards?

Why are you acting like it's your first time meeting me?

We meet each other twice a year for fundraising.

- I've heard that you are... - Yes?

being very successful in variety shows lately.

Do you have no intentions to work on dramas?

Of course, I want to do that.

That's why I have something prepared.

Could you evaluate it?

- Then show us. - Okay.

"Was I just confused about left and right?"

"I think my blood sugar levels are low. I can't think straight."

- You should eat something. - My gosh.

It was good.

I think we'll be able to see Hyun Min working on dramas soon.

Then shall we begin with the awards?

The award we are presenting...

I'm curious about who will win this award.

Let's meet the nominees.

Supporting Role Award, Weekend Special Category.

Oh Hyeon Gyeong of "A Pledge to God".

But I can't see him now.

Aren't we supposed to go easy on each other?

But you didn't.

You shamelessly took him for yourself.

I would still make the same choice.

Yoon Da Gyeong of "Hide and Seek".

I'll have you take her place.

I'll make Kim Sun Hye's bloodline take over that company.

(Yoon Da Gyeong of "Hide and Seek")

Lee Hwi Hyang of "A Pledge to God".

Why are your feet so cold?

Please save my girl, Ji Young.

(Lee Hwi Hyang of "A Pledge to God")

kill my child twice?

Who said I wanted that?

Jung Hye Young of "Goodbye to Goodbye".

That's human trafficking and sexual assault.

Open the door. How dare you?

How dare you when you can't even open this door?

Stop the car!

Jo Mi Ryung of "Hide and Seek".

(Jo Mi Ryung of "Hide and Seek")

She's my daughter! Give her back to me!

The role brought her back to the weekend dramas.

"Secret and Lies"...

Jung Hye Young of "Goodbye to Goodbye".

Please congratulate her once more with big applause.

It took you so long to return,

but you won an award. Please tell us how you feel.

Thank you.

(Jung Hye Young)

It was...

rather difficult for me because of my serious role...

made me become serious and nervous...

whenever we were filming. It wasn't easy.

But one day, the director...

He just briefly mentioned it while passing by,

but he suddenly said,

"I'm enjoying every day of my life."

He said that with a serious tone...

while we were waiting.

After hearing that,

I felt something within my heart.

After hearing that, I wasn't nervous during the filming,

and I was able to focus on my work.

The director helped me like that with just one sentence.

I sincerely thank the director for that.

The thoughts I had after hearing that was this.

We are honored to have such a director with us.

Director Kim Min Shik and Director Noh Young Seob lead us.

Writer So Jae Won also played a role in making our work great.

And Ms. Che Si Ra shined the most in our drama.

If I were to say that our drama was a voyage...

on a ship named "Goodbye to Goodbye"...

with many other actors...

and staff members as the crew,

I think that voyage...

was a very pleasant path I've been through.

The drama...

helped me let go of my nervous emotions,

and it was very enjoyable...

to spend time with the team to create the drama.

I thank you very much for this award.

I'm sincerely grateful...

to get such a great award...

at the end of this year.

Thank you.

Congratulations.

I thought you would mention Ha Sieun, but you didn't.

Then please continue with the Supporting Role Award.

The Supporting Role Award, Soap Opera Category, is next.

Let's meet the nominees.

Supporting Role Award, Soap Opera Category.

There's just one person.

(Kang Nam Gil of "The Rich Son")

There's someone prettier.

Look how my face shines.

Kim Hee Jeong of "Secret and Lies".

I can't imagine how the other ladies would be envious about this.

If you are to blame anyone, I'm the one to blame...

for being a mother so full of vanity.

Lee Seung Yeon of "The Rich Son".

I'm sorry, honey. I'm sorry.

- Hush. - I'm so sorry.

Jeon No Min of "Secret and Lies".

You should rather just die.

Why? Are you afraid of death?

Then should I kill you?

Don't say anything to my child!

Hwang Young Hee of "My Healing Love".

Why don't you have any laughter in your life?

- What? - While you live,

you need some laughter.

(2018 MBC Drama Awards)

Jeon No Min was highly praised...

for his acting...

as a warm but ambitious man in "Secret and Lies".

(Supporting Role Award, Soap Opera Category)

Please give a big hand to congratulate him.

(Supporting Role Award, Soap Opera Category)

I'm sorry, Hee Jeong. We were nominees for the same award.

I started my career as an actor at MBC when I was 30.

And this is my first time to receive an award from MBC.

This means a lot to me,

but some things are still the same. When I go to the filming site...

and see the staff members, I always feel something in my heart.

I still feel the same about that.

I'll make sure to repay them with my hard work as I live.

And I'll live with a grateful heart.

However, Oh Seung A said...

that she would dance if I won an award today.

Why don't you dance?

My gosh.

- You must've been waiting for this. - Indeed.

- You must've been eager for this. - I think she's been ready for it.

Of course.

Okay. Congratulations, No Min.

Okay, please give them a big hand.

I also thank Director Kim Jung Ho, whom I first met 22 years ago,

Director Kim Yeong Min,

and Writer Lee Do Hyun.

I thank Lee Il Hwa, my wife of two years,

Kim Hae Sun, and Kim Hee Jeong too.

I will always live with a grateful heart.

Thank you.

Okay.

As a former girl group member, her dance was nice.

Yes, she was cute.

That was good to see.

We shall move on...

to the Supporting Role Award, Miniseries Category.

The presenters of this award have shown great bromance...

in the drama, "My Husband, Mr. Oh!"

Please welcome Kim Kang Woo and Jeong Sang Hun.

Please give them a big hand.

Hello, I'm Kim Kang Woo.

Hello. Sure, continue applauding.

(Jeong Sang Hun, Kim Kang Woo)

The camera skipped me while I was speaking.

- By the way... - Go ahead.

We have a little skit.

By the way,

I love your style for tonight.

- This? - Is this velvet?

I think I just got electrocuted.

Can I say my lines?

Can I?

I just wore what they gave me.

You seem to be more well-dressed than I am.

Are you expecting to win an award?

Me? No way. Just being here in itself...

is an honor.

I mean, when will I ever get to attend MBC's drama awards?

Being able to read the winners' names is enough for me.

- I'm not expecting anything more. - Really?

Never in a million years.

I think you're lying.

Would you like to be awarded?

Yes, if you'd give me the honor, then it would be fantastic.

- I see. - I was just being honest.

After seeing that I was against so many competent actors,

I didn't expect much.

I'm so grateful for having received this honor.

I honestly believed that there was nothing more...

that I could wish for after doing...

the nose-nose with Ji Sub in our drama.

So I'm speechless that I have received this award.

I'm so nervous. I'd like...

to say thank you to some people.

I'd like to thank Director Park Sang Hoon...

and Writer Oh Ji Young...

for giving me the chance to act in such a terrific drama.

I'd also like to thank our KIS family...

for making every day at the shoot so fun.

Jung In Sun, Lim Se Mi,

Kim Yeo Jin, Jeong Si A,

and So Ji Sub.

Thank you so much.

Also,

I'd like to thank Yooborn Company...

and CEO Yoo Young Seok,

who puts our happiness first.

Thank you, Cha Woo Jin, Cho Yoon Jung,

and the managers, for doing your best.

I've heard many stories where the parents...

were completely against those who wanted to pursue acting.

However, my parents supported me wholeheartedly.

That is why I always felt sorry for not achieving much.

I was always anxious.

I always dreamed of thanking them up on the stage...

while receiving an award.

Finally, my dream has come true.

My lips are getting so dry.

Thank you so much.

Thanks to my parents,

I was able to grow into an actor that the viewers enjoyed watching.

Mom and Dad, I love you so much.

I know I've mentioned her already...

My lips are so dry.

[VIU Ver] MBC E01 '2018 MBC Drama Awards' -♥ Ruo Xi ♥-

And lastly, I know I've already mentioned her,

but I can't hide this any longer.

I'd like to share this moment with my girlfriend who is my muse.

Thank you.

He drank some water, talked about his girlfriend, and then left.

- He took a big gulp. - He did.

All right, then.

Congratulations, once again.

Next is the Best Young Actor and Actress Award...

that is given to those who will lead the MBC dramas in the future.

Even as an adult, I have a hard time...

when I'm at a filming site.

- Right. - But seeing how...

young actors and actresses work hard at the site...

- makes me feel proud of them. - You're right.

For this year, we have decided to give...

the Best Young Actor and Actress Award...

to as many people as possible.

Their performance was as great as adult actors.

Here are the winners of this year's Best Young Actor and Actress Award.

Please give them a round of applause.

Let me call out their names.

Kim Geon U, Ryu Han Bi,

Shin Bi, Shin Eun Soo.

Ock Ye Rin, Wang Seok Hyeon,

Le Na Yoon, Cho Ye Lin.

- Congratulations, everyone. - Congratulations.

Please give them the biggest round of applause.

Nose kiss?

(Kim Geon U of "Terius Behind Me")

Don't tell my mom.

Do whatever it takes.

(Ryu Han Bi of "Come and Hug Me")

You must stay alive.

I told Grandma that I wanted to eat the cake!

Where's Dad?

Dad told me to wait for him!

Once we eat this all,

can we go to your house?

(Ock Ye Rin of "Terius Behind Me")

I came to ask you something.

Are you...

(Wang Seok Hyeon of "A Pledge to God")

my father?

How is that a doctor?

A doctor should be able to fix you.

It's because of you that I changed my mind.

I'm going to that house no matter what.

(2018 MBC Drama Awards)

Since we're presenting all the awards at once,

we have yet given everyone their trophies.

- You may keep going. - Please go ahead.

Some still haven't received theirs.

Please give another round of applause...

to these young actors and actresses.

They are our future.

- Seohyun. - Yes?

Seeing these eight rising stars...

on the stage,

reminds me of the fact that you debuted early too.

- Didn't you? - I did,

- but I was in high school. - As a trainee...

Yes, I joined as a trainee when I was in elementary school.

Who's the youngest... Wait, you shouldn't wave that.

Let's start off by talking to the youngest of the group.

- Wait. The youngest is Shin Bi. - Yes, Shin Bi.

- Where's the microphone? - Shin Bi is younger.

For your information, she's seven.

Can you say in a few letters how you're feeling right now?

I'm so happy.

(Shin Bi)

I see.

She kept it short just as if we rehearsed this.

- Next... - Let's talk to Geon U.

So Ji Sub, your uncle, is watching with a proud smile.

Did he treat you well on set?

Yes.

- My gosh. - He was the best.

Did you do the nose kiss with him today?

- The nose kiss? - Yes.

We did it.

Do you always do it with him?

Then could I perhaps...

Seriously?

I'm grateful for that.

Ji Sub must be very sweet.

Next up is Ryu Han Bi.

Is there a person that particularly comes to mind?

- There are too many. - I see.

However, I am thinking of my mom the most.

- Your mom? - Yes.

Why don't you say a few words to her?

Oh, of course.

"Come and Hug Me" wasn't easy...

due to a large number of scenes taken outdoors.

I'm grateful for her always being there...

and supporting me with my work.

I'll make sure to return that love too.

All right. Thank you.

Next to me is someone who has almost hit adulthood.

- It's Wang Seok Hyeon. - Seok Hyeon.

Lee Chun Hee who played your dad is here in the studio.

Why don't you say a few words?

Yes, go ahead.

During scenes or just on set,

I thank you for always treating me like your own.

I thought that he was going to take a bow.

Was Chun Hee that nice to you?

Yes.

What is one of his best qualities?

He's sweet and...

That's all you need, right?

Someone considerate and sweet is the best.

All right then. Let's now move on to...

- Shin Eun Soo. - I'll hand over the mike.

As you can see, there are many senior actors here.

Who would it be if you had to choose...

one person you'd like to work with next time.

- Out of everyone here? - Yes.

- It's a tricky one, isn't it? - Yes.

You seem flustered.

There are many who I wish to work with.

Well...

My gosh.

You don't want anyone...

- to feel left out. - Well,

I'd like a chance to work with So Ji Sub.

And why is that?

Why?

I enjoyed the series "Terius Behind Me".

I had a blast watching it. Goodness.

That's why I'd like...

- to work with him. - I see.

Jun Gyu, what's there to be upset about?

- Oh, no. - I see.

It'll be nice for you to work...

with Ji Sub someday.

Good. All right.

Last but not least, since there are cameras here,

I'd like you to do something that'll promise the viewers...

more great work from you all.

Could you all give us a cool pose?

It can be adorable if you want.

On the count of three, we'll take some photos.

Trophies should be held upright.

There you go.

In 1, 2, 3.

Snap!

Please give it up for the rising stars.

- Congratulations once again. - Of course.

This next segment...

is something that we can all participate and enjoy together.

I hear it'll be hosted by someone special.

Where are you?

- Someone special... - Hello, everyone!

This is MBC Drama Series Fun Quiz Show,

and I'm your host Kim Tae Jin.

Hello, everyone!

- Tae Jin. - Yes?

I hear that you're here for a very special reason.

That's right. I'm on the second floor...

above the auditorium you are currently in.

It is incredible to see you all,

and I'm honored and grateful to be invited...

on such a special event.

Just like Yong Man said,

there's a reason why I'm here today.

This year, I've been loved for my mobile quiz show.

That's why I came here today...

to present a pop quiz for everyone...

on the best scenes of MBC dramas.

I watched these past episodes myself...

and put together a quiz of five questions...

that you should answer.

On the table in front of you, you'll see...

two balloons.

They have the number 1 and 2 on them respectively.

The answer will be one or the other.

This will test your knowledge...

and your teamwork will be put to the test...

as you answer these questions.

Let me see if everyone's ready then.

Team "Secret and Lies", are you ready?

Good luck!

Team "Secret and Lies", I wish you luck.

I hope you answer the questions correctly.

Next, I can also see Team "Goodbye to Goodbye".

Team "Goodbye to Goodbye", are you ready?

Okay, good luck.

1 or 2. I hope you choose the right answer.

Next up is Team "A Pledge to God".

Team "A Pledge to God", let's wish you luck too.

Where are you?

- 1, 2, 3. Good luck. - Good luck.

I wish you luck!

All right then. Quizzes make everyone nervous.

We all get anxious too.

However, questions will be from your own series,

and I'm sure your intuition as actors...

will help you guess the answer even if it isn't.

Many of them will regard lines from the series.

The first question...

is from "Partners for Justice".

Here it is!

Jung Jae Young who played medical examiner Baek Beom...

said this particular line the most in the series.

One, "That person isn't the culprit."

Two, "Get out!"

Which one is correct?

It's one or the other.

Please choose your answers.

Wait, it seems like Jae Young is confused too.

He held up the balloon in the shape of number two.

"Partners for Justice" opened a new horizon...

for concept series in Korea.

I hear that its second season is being put together.

So which one is the correct answer?

Here's the answer!

The correct answer is "Get out!"

It was number two.

Just how many times...

did Jae Young repeat that phrase though?

I prepared a montage of it.

Let's take a look right away.

Close the door and get out.

Get out. Get out!

Get out.

Get out of here.

Get out!

Get out! Get out!

Out of all the teams here, only one chose...

number one.

I hope you get the next one right.

"Get out!" I feel like that was the phrase...

which best described...

how temperamental Baek Beom was.

So let's turn to the actress who probably...

heard his outburst the most.

Can someone pass the microphone over to Jung Yu Mi?

- Jung Yu Mi? - Yes.

On the show, Jae Young's character kept telling you

to get out.

I'm wondering how your character must have felt.

She wanted to tell him to get lost himself.

Gosh, I'm sorry. I was only joking.

I heard it so much that...

even though it was in the script,

it kept kicking down my self-esteem.

I got very depressed after shooting.

Although he was acting, he kept telling you "Get out!"

All right. I'll ask something to Jae Young.

I heard that season two of "Partners for Justice"...

- is getting prepared. - Yes.

What's the difference from the previous season?

- The difference is... - Yes.

that I'll try my best not to say "Get out".

I see.

We'll be looking forward to season two.

As you're a nominee for the Grand Award,

when they say, "The Grand Award goes to Jung Jae Young"...

you can "get out" to the stage.

Well, next is the video quiz.

I prepared quizzes on the video.

You will watch the video...

and solve the quizzes right away.

Please show the video.

There's a reality in it.

- I can clearly see your mind. - It's fine.

No woman can look me right in the eye...

It was a scene from "Tempted".

"No woman can look me right in the eye..."

What's the next line of Do Hwan?

This is the second quiz.

I'll give you the examples.

"No woman can look me right in the eye..."

The next line is, one,

"because I shine."

Two, "because they get nervous."

What is the answer?

Do Hwan now looks puzzled...

as if he's wondering what it was.

Now many people are holding number two...

and some people are holding number one.

What's the answer?

Ji Sub looks a little bit confused.

Which one will Ji Sub choose?

He chose number one.

Ji Sub chose number one.

Well,

why couldn't the women look right in Do Hwan's eye?

Let's check the answer.

The answer is, "because they get nervous."

The answer is, "because they get nervous."

Ji Sub is eliminated.

Do Hwan, did you get the answer?

Nice.

He remembers his line accurately.

I'll pass the mic to Do Hwan.

Do you remember that line accurately?

Yes, I remember it accurately.

I'm glad to hear that.

Then, after a long time, how about...

saying the line again here?

Please give him a hand.

I'm getting nervous. Women can look forward to it.

It's fine.

No woman can look me right in the eye...

because they get nervous.

I'm hearing his sweet voice...

after a long time through a quiz this way.

Let's move on to the next quiz right away.

This time, it's a quiz...

on the drama "Hide and Seek".

"Hide and Seek" team,

you should get the answer no matter what.

Wave the balloons you're confident.

Will the "Hide and Seek" team...

get the correct answer? I can't wait to see.

Here comes the quiz.

In the drama "Hide and Seek",

what's the pet name Chang Eui calls for Yu Ri?

One, white egret flower.

Two, sun grandfather.

Please raise your answer.

You can raise the balloon.

I think Chang Eui and Yu Ri...

will get the answer easily.

You can raise the balloon after all the others raise theirs.

It seems people are sure the answer is one.

Many people are saying...

that the answer is number one.

I'll show you the answer right away.

Is it white egret flower or sun grandfather?

The answer is...

number one.

Jae Young, you got the wrong answer.

Jae Young, what does sun grandfather mean?

The answer is number one.

All the actors except Jae Young...

got the answer.

First, Chang Eui, please get the mic.

- Yes. - All right.

I'm sure you remember calling her...

- white egret flower. - Yes.

Do you remember what white egret flower mean?

- It's a flower, - I see.

and it means I love only one woman.

- You remember it precisely. - Yes, thank you.

I prepared white egret flower myself.

It's this flower.

This is the real white egret flower.

It's a white flower in the orchid family.

You can see...

that it much resembles the pure image of Yu Ri.

I also thought so.

I agree with you.

Can you pass the mic to Young Min?

Chang Eui expressed Yu Ri as white egret flower...

in the drama through his line.

Can you express Yu Ri as another flower?

Can you give us an example?

As she's wearing a red dress tonight,

rose with thorns?

Rose.

It's the best compliment if you call someone as a rose.

I see. I think Yu Ri needs to say a word.

- Yes. - Okay.

This is a highlight of the awards.

You can't miss a naughty question.

I'm going to try one.

Let's say you're in a drama...

and it has to have a romance no matter what...

whether it's a variety, a sitcom, or a drama.

You have to pick one actor you want to work together.

One,

Kim Yong Man.

Two, Kim Tae Jin.

Who will Yu Ri choose?

Why would you ask such a thing?

- I'll give up the drama. - You're giving up the drama?

You're giving up the drama.

- No, I was kidding. - Okay.

- I have to do the drama anyway. - Yes.

Did you say, "I have to do the drama anyway"?

I mean...

if it's after I'm paid...

Will you answer after you're paid?

I'll choose Yong Man.

- You chose Yong Man. - Right.

I guess you chose me as I'm here.

Yes. You're right. Tae Jin is so far from here.

Yes, I get it.

I'll move on to the next quiz.

He gave bad examples.

Where's the "Terius Behind Me" team?

I'll give you a quiz related to "Terius Behind Me" team.

"Terius Behind Me" team has to get the answer no matter what.

It's not a difficult one. Here's the quiz.

Ji Sub is a former secret agent.

(Bon is suspicious of his neighbor Ae Rin.)

(He gets confident after receiving a piece of candy from her.)

I gave you a hint on the video.

Here's the quiz.

Ji Sub is a former secret agent.

He's suspicious of In Sun,

his neighbor who approaches to him.

He definitely gets confident...

after he receives candy with this phrase.

What's the phrase on the candy?

One, "I'm watching you."

Two, "I love you."

The answer is either 1 or 2.

Do you remember it?

"Terius Behind Me" team...

and all the other teams,

please raise your balloon.

Number one is the dominant answer.

Not many teams chose number two.

There are some teams who chose number two.

Is it "I'm watching you" or "I love you"?

Anyway, after receiving the candy,

their relationship makes rapid progress.

Ji Sub also gave her a piece of candy with this phrase...

and expressed how he felt.

Ji Sub, what's the answer?

Is it number 1 or number 2?

Number one? Okay, good.

Let's check the answer now.

The answer is number one,

"I'm watching you."

That's the answer.

Ji Sub, you had no reason to get the question wrong,

but you look unexpectedly happy.

You got the answer. Congratulations.

I've prepared five quizzes,

and it's time to see the last one.

It's the fun quiz show on MBC drama. The last quiz is...

one related to the "My Healing Love" team.

"My Healing Love" team, are you ready?

You can do it!

Okay, here's the quiz.

In the drama,

Yu Jin's nickname is "Seoul University Ghost".

What's the reason she got such a nickname?

One, as she's a grinder who's stuck in the library.

Two, as she works in a lot of shops moving quickly.

The "My Healing Love" team has a look that it's so easy.

Other teams can get the answer.

If I were her,

if I were in the drama,

why would I have that nickname? Make a guess.

I hope the actors get the answer by their intuition.

Boo Ja is thinking carefully...

to guess the answer.

What would be the answer?

Please raise the balloon!

Is the answer number 1 or number 2?

Number two is the dominant answer.

However, some teams chose number one.

The "Terius Behind Me" team chose number two.

Well...

is it because she moves quickly, working in a lot of shops?

Boo Ja,

do you think it's number 1 or number 2?

You can express it with your hands.

She says it's number two. Good.

Did Boo Ja get the answer?

I'll show you the answer.

The answer is...

number two. Congratulations.

I think all the actors and actresses...

who appear in MBC drama...

are also good at getting...

the right answer from a quiz.

Could you pass the mic to Yu Jin?

- Hello. - Hello.

- Hello. - Nice to meet you.

This one was too easy for you, I guess.

Yes, it was easy for me.

I know. Right.

By the way, I heard the "My Healing Love" team...

- has such good teamwork. - Yes.

I heard the atmosphere is very good.

That's true.

Who is the one that livens things up...

when you're shooting the drama?

The one who livens things up at the shooting is...

- so unexpectedly... - Who is it?

the director, the head of our team.

Is it the director?

He really makes the atmosphere happy.

He has a nickname, "Happy Director".

- I see. - Yes.

Could you pass the mic to the director?

Yes. Here's our director.

Everyone, please give a hand to the director.

It's not usual that a director gets a mic like this.

Director Kim.

Yes.

The director is not sitting with the casts in other teams.

But you're sitting there together.

Is it because you're anticipating a particular award?

First, my family is watching this at home.

- At home, yes. - Yes.

I'm here for the drama.

I'm quite certain that our actors...

- will receive an award. - Really?

They worked so hard for us.

That's why I'm certain. So, I'm here to congratulate them.

That's great to hear. Like what you said,

So Yu Jin, Youn Jung Hoon, and...

Lim Kang Sung are all nominees.

This might be a little embarrassing for you but...

since they are all nominees,

can you pass on some of your luck to them on the count of three?

Please give them a shout.

I'll count to three.

- Yes, okay. - Yes.

A short moment of embarrassment but a lifelong appreciation.

- 1, 2, 3. - Hold on.

- 1, 2, 3. - 1, 2, let's go!

The director's message of encouragement.

Thank you very much.

This is it for me and MBC Drama's quiz show.

All the MBC dramas that...

made viewers laugh and sad in 2018.

MBC has the best dramas.

We'd like to ask for your love and interests next year too.

I will pass on the microphone to the emcees.

Kim Yong Man and Seohyun, please come out.

Please give him a hand.

- He was on the floor above. - Yes.

- He communicated well. - He was so fun.

You did a great job, Kim Tae Jin.

Time was well spent.

I feel like I saw a few dramas in one go.

- You're right. - They mixed two dramas...

together as one.

- "My Healing Love, Terrius". - "My Healing Love, Terrius".

I don't know if he plans to be the director of such a drama.

- We enjoyed it nevertheless. - Yes.

We have more special things to look forward to next.

Five child actors who were awarded today...

planned a special performance for all the viewers...

and their seniors.

As they're prepared to be big actors in the future,

this might be kept as a record.

Let's enjoy "Love Scenario".

Please give a big applause.

(Kim Geon U, Shin Bi, Ock Ye Rin, Le Na Yoon, Cho Ye Lin)

That was so cute.

They're taking a video for keeps.

- Aren't they cute? - They were so lovely.

I think that Geon U will...

do well in a music entertainment company.

- You're right. - You used to dance before, right?

What did you think?

I think he did much better...

- than me when I was his age. - Right.

- Yes. - It's incredible that...

- he remembered all his moves. - Of course.

That was very cute.

Now, we will continue with our award presentation.

These are the nominees for...

an award that is especially special for actors and actresses.

Drama Producers chose these winners for...

The Actor and Writer of the Year Award.

The presentation will be held by...

Kim Yeo Jin and Kang Ki Young who showed us great chemistry...

as KIS agents in "Terius Behind Me".

Yes, let's give them a hand.

Welcome.

Hello, I'm Kim Yeo Jin.

Hello, I'm Kang Ki Young.

You really look sexy...

in a dress.

You look beautiful.

I couldn't recognize you today.

I wish you dressed like this more often.

Honestly, you look better than Bon.

- Really? - Yes.

Even though I dress myself up,

I can't do better than So Ji Sub.

But I'm still quite handsome.

Are you looking at this, Bon?

- He's better looking, right? - He's looking.

Let's stop showing off now.

Do you know which award we're here to present?

How can I not know?

The winner of this award was chosen by the drama producers.

The Actor of the Year Award.

I did some research prior to this.

The actor who showed great acting skills...

with great behavior, manners, and personality.

This actor was chosen...

by the drama producers.

Am I getting an award again?

- I'm sorry. - I actually...

held it in when you received the award just now.

- Do I have to hold it in again? - I apologize.

I'm curious which actor will receive this.

Please reveal it quickly.

Yes, I'll start presenting.

The Actor of the Year Award that was chosen by drama producers.

Huh Joon Ho of "Come and Hug Me".

Congratulations.

Congratulations.

He played a psychopath in...

"Come and Hug Me"...

and showed us great acting skills.

He was chosen as the actor of the year by drama producers.

Congratulations.

Thank you.

Long time no see.

(Huh Joon Ho of "Come and Hug Me")

I was told that I was a nominee of an award...

so I was waiting but received this so suddenly.

I'm more thankful as this was awarded by directors.

Firstly, I'd like to thank the Lord...

for giving me this life and for helping me get by.

And our "Come and Hug Me" team.

They worked very hard.

We had lots of fun together too.

Our "Come and Hug Me" team,

all of you worked so hard despite the difficulties.

All of you led me so that I can work even harder.

I'd like to give this award to the directors and to the team.

Thank you.

I'd also like to thank my family. Thank you very much.

I'll work even harder.

Congratulations.

You've been more active nowadays.

I'm happy to see that as your junior.

Please continue with the presentation.

Next, this award is for a writer...

who allowed actors to show...

their acting skills...

by writing a great script.

Please present the Writer of the Year Award.

The winner of the Writer of the Year Award.

Writer Oh Ji Young of "Terius Behind Me".

- Congratulations. - Congratulations.

Congratulations.

Writer Oh Ji Young of "Terius Behind Me".

Who are you affiliated with?

Are you asking about my job now?

I'm unemployed. I don't have a job.

Are you making fun of me?

(She pulls the trigger out of anger.)

(He tries to get away out of instinct.)

Did you think that it was a real gun?

- Let's give her a hand again. - Yes.

Congratulations.

There's a reason why she received so much love.

- You're right. - Yes.

Her script was really fun.

Please put down the microphone. It's automatic these days.

Thank you very much.

All the actors and actresses are taken aback by that.

(Writer Oh Ji Young of "Terius Behind Me")

Because they're always outdoors.

- Let's hear her acceptance speech. - Yes.

Coming to the end of 2018,

you have given me such a precious award that I will happily accept.

When I first went to MBC after writing...

this absurd script about the joint task force...

between the NIS and regular moms,

"Let's just give it a shot."...

is what Mr. Kang Dae Seon told me.

Thank you so much for saying that.

And to Mr. Joo Sung Woo and Producer Namgoong Seong Woo...

who made it possible for us to create this drama,

and to CEO Yoo Byung Sool and Kim Jung Hee of Mongjak Production,

and to Director Park Sang Hoon and Director Park Sang Woo...

who both did such a great job and their best to film the drama,

I sincerely thank you for your hard work.

And more than anything, when I started writing this script,

I had So Ji Sub in mind for the main lead.

And he happily accepted the role.

Thank you so much.

And although she is not married,

she did a great job, pulling off the role of a mother of two.

I would like to thank Ae Rin too.

And...

every agent in the KIS, the NIS,

and Agent Yoo Ji Yeon who is right here with us...

made their performances so vivid.

I was very grateful.

The cast worked harder and did better than what I had written.

They motivated me to write better scripts.

Thank you for that too.

There are a lot of times when I can't go home.

To my family who always knew...

to understand when I couldn't come home, thank you so much.

More than anything,

I have a child at home.

Ms. Lee Young Ja, who has turned into Kim Bon, the babysitter,

looks after my son for me.

Thank you so much.

And after receiving this award,

I will try my best to become a writer...

who shares entertaining and good scripts...

and who always strives to improve.

I would like to thank the viewers.

Happy New Year. Thank you.

Congratulations once again, Ms. Oh Ji Young.

I would like to congratulate the recipients one more time.

This time, we will present the Golden Acting Award.

This award is given out to the actors and actresses...

- who add depth to the dramas. - That's right.

This actress guarantees that the drama will be of good quality.

And she is still beautiful as ever.

Her beauty hasn't changed at all when I saw her today.

That is right.

She demonstrated a shocking change through "Goodbye to Goodbye".

Everyone, please welcome Che Si Ra.

Please give her a warm welcome.

(The Golden Acting Award)

- She is indeed beautiful. - Yes. Please come forward.

Hello, I'm Che Si Ra.

Whenever actors and actresses are given a new role,

it always excites us.

We wonder how we can help the viewers perceive us...

as real characters in the drama or if they will cheer us on.

To achieve that goal, we study and practice...

the smallest gestures and even the sound of our breath.

I have presented many awards at many awards ceremonies.

I believe the award I am present today right here...

is the most meaningful and valuable award there is.

To recognize their ceaseless efforts,

I will be presenting this award.

Thanks to their such efforts, these recipients...

were selected for the award.

Let us take a look at the recipients.

(The Golden Acting Award)

(Kang Boo Ja of "A Pledge to God")

Don't you dare lie to me!

You shouldn't cover that up.

That is bound to get out.

What happens when she gives birth to her child?

Will she deny the child and change her words?

I will introduce you to the second nominee.

(The Golden Acting Award)

(Huh Joon Ho of "Come and Hug Me")

You didn't do your job as his brother.

If I'm insulting you,

do a better job of being a brother to him.

Guard, get a smell of this air.

This...

This is the smell of life.

I have great respect for these two recipients.

I will invite the recipients of the Golden Acting Award,

Kang Boo Ja and Huh Joon Ho to the stage.

These are the recipients of the Golden Acting Award.

Here are Kang Boo Ja and Huh Joon Ho.

Whenever I see them in dramas, I can trust them to do well.

- Now, - That's right.

they are indeed the nation's beloved actor and actress.

Si Ra gave her a warm hug.

- It was a heartfelt hug. - Right.

Ms. Kang Boo Ja will deliver her acceptance speech first.

- Should I go 1st? - Do you want to go 1st, Joon Ho?

Okay.

I received an award...

that I didn't expect to win or deserve to win.

I question myself if I should...

accept this award in front of my colleagues...

and junior actors and actresses.

I am embarrassed as if I feel I don't know my place.

This made me think hard if I was able to...

set an example for my juniors, or if I was an actress...

my juniors could look up to.

Someday in a faraway future, after a long time has passed,

I hope people can remember me...

and think,

"Although she wasn't pretty,"

"there was an actress who looked likable."

"I would like to see her again. I miss her."

If they talk about me...

or are reminded of my acting,

it would be the greatest honor I could ask for.

Anyway, I would like to thank the concerned individuals...

who decided to give me this award.

And I would like to thank the viewers...

who always watch and support our dramas.

And every single day,

Buddha embraces me, protects me,

and guides me in my daily life.

He taught me that the paper that wraps incense smells of incense...

and the paper that wraps fish smells of fish.

Buddha always gives me great lessons.

I would like to thank him.

Everyone, next year will be the Year of Pig.

And I heard that it will be the Year of the Golden Pig.

I hope everything goes well for every household in Korea.

May your efforts bear fruits.

And please stay healthy...

so that you may enjoy more good fortune.

Thank you, everyone. Thank you.

Thank you for your well-wishing remarks.

Joon Ho, please deliver your acceptance speech.

I would like to thank the Lord.

If there are any viewers of "Come and Hug Me",

I hope you can all give each other a hug.

(Huh Joon Ho, Golden Acting Award)

Everyone including the director, the cast,

the staff, and the newest recruits...

filmed the drama while sparing nothing as well as their health.

I hope that...

you can all give a hug to the staff and to the cast of...

"Come and Hug Me". Please give them a hug.

Well,

I didn't win this award solely based on my ability.

I was able to receive this award because they gave me so much love.

People say love embraces all.

That is why even a psychopath was loved.

Thank you, everyone.

I was loved...

I was loved in the drama more than I expected.

Thank you for teaching me what love is.

- Thank you, Ms. Kang. - Congratulations.

- Thank you. - Thank you.

Congratulations once again to the both of you.

Congratulations.

Their years of experience were evident in their speeches.

- I agree. - Congratulations.

I believe that thanks to...

these great actors and actresses, MBC dramas can be greatly loved.

That's right.

Next, we have prepared to present the Drama of the Year Award...

- which the viewers voted for. - Right.

Lee Sang Min, the host of "Section TV"...

and a cute and beautiful idol group,

GFRIEND, will present the award.

Let's give it up for them.

Hello, I'm Lee Sang Min.

1, 2, 3.

I received an award here yesterday at the Entertainment Awards.

I feel more nervous now.

I'm a fan of dramas and I watch a lot of them.

Seeing all the people I saw on TV sitting in front of me,

I feel so nervous.

Okay.

So this award is from the viewers.

The drama of the year nominees as selected by the viewers.

It's an emergency mission.

(Emergency mission)

Your mission is to find the drama of the year selected by the viewers.

Clue one.

A thrilling plot that gives you sweaty palms.

Clue two.

Detailed and tough acting that takes your breath away.

"Partners for Justice".

"Less than Evil".

"Terius Behind Me".

"My Husband, Mr. Oh!".

"Children of Nobody".

"Hide and Seek".

"Come and Hug Me".

Which of these dramas...

were the best of 2018 that captivated the viewers?

Wow, there are some powerful contenders.

Sang Min, which drama do you think the viewers picked?

I'm supposed to announce the winner,

but the production team asked me to rap it.

Wow, this is...

I never imagined that I'd have to rap something like this.

When would you ever?

I'm standing right in front of a rapper right now.

I'm so nervous.

Let me introduce the nominees with a rap.

"Less than Evil", "Partners for Justice"

"Children of Nobody", all are thrilling

"Terius Behind Me" and "My Husband, Mr. Oh!"

made us laugh and was oh so popular

"Come and Hug Me" made me smile

"Hide and Seek" made me cry so I don't know

Everyone did well, everyone's a winner

You're the best. You're the best. Thank you.

You did it. Well done.

- Thank you. - This is bad.

I just can't tell.

- Should we announce the winner? - Yes.

The drama of the year as selected by the viewers.

The drama of the year as selected by the viewers.

"Terius Behind Me".

Congratulations.

Congratulations.

This has to be one of the most honorable awards.

"Terius Behind Me" was about a black agent.

"Terius Behind Me" was...

selected by the viewers as the most memorable drama of 2018.

("Terius Behind Me" The Drama of the Year)

Let's hear it from the director, Park Sang Hoon.

Hello, I'm Park Sang Hoon, director of "Terius Behind Me".

First, I'd like to thank the viewers who loved our drama.

Writer Oh Ji Young wrote such an amazing script.

We talked for long hours since last year,

and I'm pleased that our work paid off...

and would like to share the joy.

Many thanks to So Ji Sub who...

recognized the merit of our drama.

Thank you, Jung In Sun, for doing so well.

To the NIS members including Se Mi,

and to the KIS members including Ki Young,

we all had so much fun working together.

We had so much fun on set that I even wondered...

if we're allowed to enjoy shooting a drama this much.

All I think I did was watch everyone put the drama together...

and laugh my head off and yell "cue".

We filmed in Poland and Korea,

which was a lot of hard work.

We started when it was very hot,

and a lot of the crew had a very hard time.

We wrapped up in the coldest of winter.

I'd like to thank the crew that suffered with me.

From start to finish, we had the staunch support of...

Chief Kang Dae Sun.

I was honored to work with the amazing man behind "The Rebel",

producer Namgoong Sung Woo.

I also want to thank Park Sang Woo, my joint-director...

who worked with me on this after a previous project together.

I'll work harder to make more better dramas for MBC.

Thank you.
