All language subtitles for 3. Practice Blend Images with Generative Fill

In this video, we will create a really cool image using blending technique.

Let me explain what we will do beforehand.

So for the ones who want a challenge, you can do the project before watching the video.

We will create a portrait canvas in Photoshop like this one in the screen.

Generate two images with Firefly, one for the top and one for the bottom.

These images will be surreal and digital art and there will be a gap between these two images.

That is an empty region for AI to fill.

Then we will blend these images using generative fill in Photoshop.

I'm not going to show you the results now.

I don't want to affect your imagination.

Okay.

So I will start doing my project.

But firstly, I want to say that generative fill in Photoshop is not the same thing with text to image

in Adobe Firefly, and you shouldn't use generative fill for creating a standalone image from nothing.

Let me show you this example.

I will select the bottom of this canvas.

Click Generative fill and prompt underwater city in the ocean with elephants.

As you can see, the results are not satisfying.

This is the second one.

And third one is not bad actually.

And this is interesting, but definitely these are not what we expected.

Right.

So let's go to Adobe.

Firefly when we type the same prompt to Adobe.

Firefly.

These are the results.

Besides, in this platform, you can adjust many settings and I am going to use this one, so let me

download it.

Okay, let's go back to Photoshop and let me place it to the bottom of the canvas.

All right, now we need one more image for the top.

And I want a futuristic city with buildings.

And after the comma, I will say golden hour.

Noticed that Firefly automatically removed that phrase and add it as a style.

Okay, great.

Actually, I didn't like that the buildings are not completed and there is no sky.

But we can fix it using generative fill.

All right.

Download this one.

And importing Photoshop and position here like this.

Maybe we can remove the copyright from this image.

We already have one at the bottom.

I will select that area and use generative fill for this one as well.

You can use it for anything.

And guys don't use this for bad purposes.

I believe in you.

Okay, perfect.

Now I will select the empty region, but also including some parts of both images and click generate

again.

Wow, this is incredible.

I mean, it looks already so cool.

So let's see some more alternatives.

And I like this one most, but there is a rigid transition on this line, so I will select that area

and generate one more time.

Okay, great.

Not bad.

But this one is perfect.

Oh, my God.

How the heck it is that good?

I am still getting charmed with these features, guys.

And last thing I want to do is to complete these buildings and create a sky at the top.

So with the crop tool, we can extend the image and use generative fill again in order to fireflight

to complete the sky.

And these are the alternatives.

All of them are good.

But as I said, I want a clear sky and complete buildings, so I will use this one.
