-Rowing is a full-body workout.

It's one of the fastest growing
sports in the United States.

And it's actually a sport
that most people don't start

until they get to college.

What does it take?

-Absolutely. So a lot of time,
a lot of sacrifice.

Most of the women
have been training for decades.

I trained for a number of years,

got to represent
the United States

in a world championship.

Never quite made it
to the Olympics,

but have been fortunate enough
to witness

some of that sacrifice
and hard work in person.
