In this lecture we're going to learn how to draw the chest.

So let's go ahead and get started.

So let's go ahead and let's start by drawing the head.

Then let's go ahead and draw the neck and the shoulders.

Just bring to line straight down like this

there's a cylinder then we can go ahead and do the collar bones.

The shoulders be three heads wives.

Let's go ahead and work that out.

there's our shoulders and we can go and draw this muscle here.

All right.

So there we go.

So now we have the head the neck the shoulders and the collarbone.

So everything we've learned up to this point.

Now let's go ahead and let's figure out how to attach the chest to that.

So in general the nipples are going to be about a head down.

So if we were to go ahead and measure this out.

So if we were to put our finger there at the top of the head and put the point of a pencil at the chin

and move that down our nipple should be right about there.

Which means the bottom of the chest is just going to be a slight bit lower.

So going to go ahead just kind of draw a curved line like that.

Very lightly.

And I want to use it as a guide.

All right.

So then the chest muscle is going to basically come off the side of the shoulder muscle like this and

it's going to angled down like that.

So we're just going to draw a line coming off like that and then angled downwards

and we can maybe make that angle just a little bit steeper.

It really just depends on the PEC muscle is different on every male.

And we're gonna get to how to draw the breast later on.

So don't worry we're not just gonna learn how to draw the chest for the male.

We'll cover both of them.

All right.

So that's gonna be your basic shape is just kind of this curved line like that Angle line angled line.

And if you want you can add on that detail right there just depends on how realistic you want your form

to look.

Next we can go and just draw a line that shoots straight down from the collarbone like that and then

actually what we can do is we can kind of split that off into two like that to kind of separate the

two muscles

so again the nipple should be about one head down from the chin.

So some are right along that line and depending on who it is you're drawing the nipples would be placed

in different areas but in general they're going to be placed somewhere in this area.

So a little bit out to the outside and a little bit down towards the bottom on that line.

So in this case we'll go ahead and just kind of draw them right there just two little ovals

right.

And if we wanted to we could kind of shade underneath right here underneath the collarbone if we want

to add that kind of detail.

But there you go.

That's the basic gist of how to draw the male chest.
