All language subtitles for 1. Premiere Pro CC 2020 How to Auto Reframe Videos

Welcome back.

Let's talk about a really cool feature in Premiere processor 2020 called Auto reframe.

This is really cool.

The software now uses artificial intelligence to reframe any clipboard sequence keeping everything in

the frame without you making any adjustments.

Let's have a look at what we have.

Quickly make sure we're on the same page so go to window workspaces and click on editing just there

just to make sure that we're looking at exactly the same window.

And I get a help and about Premiere Pro you will see here that I'm running version 14 which is of course

the latest version.

So make sure you're on version 14 otherwise you're not going to see this.

So I have a couple little clips here and this is from one of my blogs.

And I want to automatically reframe these clips that were shot in horizontal format so 16 by 9.

And I want to resize them so they fit into this vertical sequence here.

All right.

And just say I want to make this for Instagram or IPTV.

So what do I do.

Or you need to do is you go to effects.

So I've got effects down here.

If you click on there or you click on these two arrow arrows click on effects in the search window type

in type and auto.

I had it there before.

You'll see down to here under transform it will come up if you click on that drag it across to any particular

clip the effect will be applied to that clip you'll see here that it will process and using artificial

intelligence and machine learning it will automatically resize that clip for you inside those dimensions.

So now if I scrub that video you'll see now that's done all the work for me.

Now what's changed is if you have a look over here you'll see that there's a bunch of key frames that

Premier pro has slotted in.

It's also scaled it to 177.

And this I scrubbed this across you'll see that the position changes so Premier pro is has essentially

used artificial intelligence to keep me.

It's recognized me to keep me in frame as much as possible.

So that's pretty cool.

If I compare that to the next one.

Right.

I just take the same effect train it across and it will do the same thing over here a bunch of key frames

will be added.

That's how easy it is.

Okay so if I want to apply this effect to the entire sequence and not just to one particular clip then

I can do that and I'll show you how easy it is to do that if I want to put this entire video on Instagram

so that it conforms to vertical video format or I need to do is this it's so easy I just right click

on the sequence here I go to auto reframe sequence click on that I'm given this dialog box where it

all play the auto reframe effect to the entire sequence I click on aspect ratio go down to vertical

video which is nine by sixteen This is for Instagram so it will create a new sequence called sequence

to nine by sixteen.

In this case in terms of clip nesting I'm going to say don't nest clips and then click on Create.

Now it will apply the effect across the entire sequence and then watch this.

It is really really easy now I'll be making more Instagram videos from my vlog moving forward so as

you can see I have all my key frames there that premiere pro have automatically put in for me and if

I play this sequence you'll see that I'm perfectly in frame perfectly in frame so that's how easy it

is to create or to auto reframe your clips or your sequences just like that using artificial intelligence
