While all eyes were on the NATO summit,
Russia made a most amusing statement.

Shoigu said that since June 4,

Ukraine's defense forces have lost
1,200 tanks in a "failed" offensive.

Obviously, Shoigu is trying to
rehabilitate himself in every

possible way after Prigozhin's breakthrough, to
demonstrate his usefulness and professionalism.

On the one hand, he activates
the "West" grouping of troops,

on the other hand, he gives out victorious
statistics at the level of surreal.

Before the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the
AFU had less than a thousand tanks in service.

According to verified data, the Ukrainian
Defense Forces have lost 558 tanks to date.

Of these, 352 have been destroyed, 66
damaged, 140 captured. At the same time,

545 tanks they have taken from the Russian
side, while 575 will be received by allies.

Earlier, Bloomberg has already published
unprofessional material in which it stated

that Ukraine has more tanks than Russia,
basing its statistics on the trophies,

a significant part of which are not
combat-ready and require repair.

In addition, the Ukrainians still haven't
received 575 tanks from the allies.

However, apparently, Shoygu read the Bloomberg
article and decided that if Ukraine has 1500

tanks, then from June 4th onwards, they
can claim to have destroyed 1200 tanks.

Putin will believe these figures too. And do
you know what the most interesting thing is?

According to Shoigu's version, it was one
of the greatest tank battles ever fought!

Russian propaganda likes to reflect on the
"Battle of Prokhorovka" in 1943, so there both

sides lost a total of 400 tanks. During Operation
Bluecoat a total of 346 tanks were lost. Battle of

Warsaw - 500 tanks. Battle of Debrecen - over 500
tanks. Lepel counterstrike - about 1000 tanks !

Russian propaganda spent a week running a couple
of Leopard-IIs from different angles on all

channels and used footage of the failed forcing
of Siverskyi Donets, passing off BMP-2s as Abrams.

And so Shoigu decided to summarize the
events of June and the first third of July,

presenting one of the most impressive
tank battles in the modern history of

wars and conflicts, where the Russian
army destroyed 1,200 tanks ... It is

time for him to prepare a place on
his tunic for a new hero's star.

But if we return to reality, the occupiers
are seriously considering the option of

conducting a broad offensive operation after the
Ukrainian so-called "failed counteroffensive".

But there is a problem - the enemy has
long climbed into its operational reserves,

and sometimes in strategic ones - as it was in the

Zaporizhzhya region and on
the left bank of Kherson.

Problem No. 2 - the occupants have
already started to activate in the

potential directions of such an operation.
This may indicate that they feel that they

will not be able to "grind down" Ukrainian
reserves and decided to play ahead of the game.

Let the enemy not think that
his actions are a surprise,

there is no surprise, everyone was ready.

Moreover, the occupants through a few
operational and tactical techniques

of the Ukrainian side can get a
headache in adjacent directions.

And such that the "broad operation"
will not only have to be forgotten,

but also urgently search for reserves
to plug the holes that they will have.

The pace of action by the
Ukrainian defense forces,

which the media call a "counter-offensive",
is quite good, no matter what they say.

Not everyone wants to realize that offensive
