I saw a boy who looked like this once.

He was young, like this child.

And he played the banjo, I think.
It was a haunting melody:

The original pulse deformed the whole town.

My father couldn't live with himself
afterwards.

like that.

and worked tirelessly on his machine...

Then he offered the inhabitants
a choice.
