All the characters, places, deaths and incidents, have nothing to do with reality.

What is that?

Oh...that.

Who gave you your orders?

Who are you? Who are you, I said?!

Hyung! You're in danger! Get out of the way!

Team Leader, get out of the way.

Hey you, Goo Do Soo!

Untouchable - 8 -

You're both okay, right?

Then that's good. See you tomorrow.

Why am I always having to get help from you?

It was also like that when we were younger.

It doesn't feel good.

It's been a long time since we've been here.

Jang Goon Rock

Hyung, we're almost at Jang Goon Rock.

Mr. Yong, I have to go to the bathroom.

Caution - Bicycles

Hurry up and come out! Your Father is waiting for you.

Do you both want to get in trouble?

Hurry and come out!

I often came here by myself, even after you left.

I feel better whenever I'm here.

Was Jung Hye so precious to you?

I think so, since I'm having such a hard time.

You don't think you can forget her?

I'm not confident.

Just before Jung Hye died,

she called me.

I feel sorry towards my father, but...

I'll forget it.

I won't resent anybody.

So, let Joon Seo and I stay together.

I'm asking you this favor.

That's the only thing I want.

Please.

I told her to do that.

That's what she wanted. And I mean that sincerely.

Why didn't you tell me this before?

Because you would have felt tortured, like you do now.

But what am I going to do?

It will be even harder for me to forget her now.

Let her go.

It's about time to end it.

Jung Hye would not have wanted you to keep holding on to her like this.

No.

I am too indebted to Jung Hye

I have to pay it back. That's the only way I can live.

Joon Seo.

There's an order to life in Bukcheon that you don't know about.

It's also our family's way of life.

The more you hold on to that girl, the more that order breaks down.

You protect it and I break it down.

We can each go our separate ways then.

I just don't want you to get hurt, Joon Seo.

Joon Seo, let's have a drink today.

But I'm going to get really drunk today.

Be prepared.

I'm going to talk recklessly.

About you, about me, I'm going to say everything there is to say.

That's okay, right?

You're going to accept everything I say, right?

I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.

What are you going to do?

Behind Kang Moon Shik is Park Tae Jin and behind Park Tae Jin is president Jang Gi Seo.

Didn't this last incident confirm this?

No, there isn't enough evidence.

I need more convincing evidence.

Of course that has to be the case...

Since Jang Gi Seo is the Team Leader's brother

Today, in broad daylight,

Someone tried to kill Joo Tae Seob and I.

Who would do such a thing?

If it was a setup, you're the only person that comes to mind.

Gi Seo, I'm not an idiot.

Why would I risk my life at this age?

Then are you saying Joo Tae Seob was the one they were after?

That could be. Since there are a lot of people who want Joo Tae Seob dead.

Who does?

That... well...

The guys who ambushed me today in the junkyard...

Find out who's behind them.

How would I do that?

Don't you think you need to resolve the misunderstanding I have towards you?

Okay.

Crap.

Hello!

Did you take care of what we talked about yesterday?

I'm sorry. Things suddenly got complicated.

You're even less capable than I thought.

The original name was deleted and replaced with Jung Hye, right?

That's right.

Joon Seo - Min Joo

You can engrave this on a ring, right?

Yes, that's possible.

What's up? That's so unlike you, so childish.

Min Joo made me like this.

Unlike myself and childish.

Let's keep this a secret from Joon Seo.

He's already clinging onto his late wife.

If he were to find this out, it will be even harder for him.

Why did Jung Hye do such a dangerous thing?

It was obvious everything would have fallen apart if Team Leader Jang found out.

On top of that, he is the son of a family with whom she has an adversarial relationship.

If I was her, there is no way I could love him, even if there was some attraction.

Would't she know right away it couldn't be real love?

That's right, maybe she was a little delusional when she deleted her fake name and had her real name engraved.

You know, it's like when someone pretends to be a spouse...

but then gets deluded into thinking it's real.

Ripley syndrome? Is that what it's called?

Why are you telling me this right now?

It's just related to a case I'm working on.

No matter how I think about it, her psychological state seems a bit strange.

You must have experienced a lot of cases like this.

That's Jung Hye's story.

Huh?

Did Jang Joon Seo tell you this?

No... well... I...

Why would he tell you that?

Is he crazy?

Does he, by any chance, think that you like him?

No, definitely not.

Then I Ra, do you...?

Mom, no! Why would I?

Why would I like that idiotic guy who thinks about nothing but his dead wife?

That's not it.

That's right... why would I?

Why would I?

I know it's bothersome but you should come to Bukcheon more often.

Why do you need my name all of a sudden?

The election is coming up, so I'm feeling uneasy.

My father isn't here,

so father-in-law please fill in that spot.

I should sell my name.

Please put in some effort out of consideration for Ja Gyung.

She's your precious only daughter.

Tell me whenever you want it.

Thank you.

One moment.

I looked into it. Those guys were outsiders.

You don't have to explain. Just tell me their names. Who are they?

Former President Goo Yong Chan... and your wife.

Alright.

Since we're on this topic, I'll tell you now.

This year's Jang Sung Joo Scholarship ceremony...

Father-in-law, I think you will have to participate.

I think it would be sufficient to bring Ja Gyung for something like that.

No, you must come.

Why?

If a person who became president through a Jang family scholarship...

were to present the scholarships to the students,

don't you think the students would be able to think big?

Go home first. I'm going to meet someone here before I go.

Oh, here he comes.

He's someone I really hated, but it was a misunderstanding.

I'm indebted to him now because of that misunderstanding.

Do you want to greet him before you go?

No, it's fine.

Go.

Oh Dae Sung and Kim Sung Woo... Do you think they will cooperate once again?

They're people who stabbed Park Tae Jin in the back.

They'll want to catch him more than we do.

Yeah, that's true.

Isn't the place where we're supposed to meet somewhere around here?

It should be just around the corner here.

I'm sorry, excuse me.

Just a minute.

Open it up.

Poor kid.

Get rid of it.

You're here?

What did they say the cause of death was?

The two of them stabbed each other while they were high on drugs.

Really? They were asking for it, playing around with that stuff.

All the evidence and witnesses have disappeared.

Not only that, we've been exposed.

Let's search his house then. Something should turn up.

How can we do that without a search warrant?

We have someone here who is good at stealing.

You're telling me to break into Park Tae Jin's house?

Fine.

I'll get the door open. You go inside since you're good at fighting.

I'll stand guard outside.

Why? Because you'll come out a dead man.

Go ahead. Just open the door and I'll go in.

Why are you blabbering like this?

If you become a member of the suicide squad, I think you'll get paid a lot.

Forget it. Even if he hid something in his house, they would have got rid of it already.

You said you didn't like how we did things, why are you here again?

I want to become a real police officer like you.

This is all we have from the station's CCTV.

But if we look at the black box footage from the car across the road, the situation changes.

I told you it was magic.

Magic is nothing if you see it like this.

Now we know why it disappeared, but it doesn't mean that we can find evidence.

Why don't we just catch that guy and give him a beating?

If we don't obtain the evidence, it will be difficult to get a confession.

Can you get a bag that's just like that?

Me again?

Am I some kind of a 3D printer that can immediately reproduce everything I see?

This is the bag Park Tae Jin was carrying at Hak Man right?

-You're sure? -Yes.

We've secured the evidence.

Go find out where Park Tae Jin is and arrest him and bring him here.

Do you not hear me? Are you not going to go?

I said move, you punks!

Yes, got it.

-What happened? -I don't know.

It's mind boggling.

How'd they find it?

What the? It's right here.

What happened?

Oh so the real drugs were here.

Wow, you're smart. Putting it in the evidence storage room.

You hid it in a really safe place and well.

Whose idea was it? Hm?

If you can't find Joo Tae Seob,

can't you just catch the person in between Goo Yong Chan and Joo Tae Seob?

Pardon? That's...

Whether it's Goo Yong Chan or Goo Ja Gyeong,

wouldn't they have told Joo Tae Seob to kill someone?

Catch the person who ordered someone to kill another and deal with them through the law.

Why? You don't know who it is?

What is this? You're not even a police officer!

You're the one who's not a police officer.

Let go, you punk!

What are you doing in front of me?

I'm performing my civic duty.

This is illegal. Illegal kidnapping and illegal detention.

I'll move him to the station as soon as I finish my questioning.

Why are you doing the questioning here?

The Bukcheon Station is Park Tae Jin's safe haven.

I am Bukcheon Station's Chief.

Jang Gi Seo is behind Park Tae Jin.

Your brother... is behind Park Tae Jin.

Yes.

Go out for now.

The Bukcheon city snake is in a pitiful state.

Please hurry and take me back to the station.

That's right.

Bukcheon office was your private bedroom.

It won't be beneficial for you to abandon me.

Jang Joon Seo is curious about Yoon Jung Hye's death.

Yoon Jung Hye's father...

Yoon Dong Pil and the other missing officers. He's going to keep digging into their case.

Because that's how he can reveal why Jung Hye died.

So?

Team Leader Yoon Dong Pil...

went out to Heukryungdo based on an illegal order from you.

Because they weren't able to get a search warrant.

If their goal wasn't fishing,

but they died while on a secret mission you sent them on,

You will not be able to avoid responsibility.

That's right.

The person who pushed those officers to their death...

was you. You killed them.

Okay.

That always bothered me.

So... take me back to the station.

Do you know what the most shameful thing in my life has been?

the fact that trash like you was wearing the same police badge as me.

You'll probably have to take your police badge off too.

If it gets taken off, I'll be thankful.

This police badge was too heavy all this time.

I don't care if you ignore official protocol.

You just have to make sure Park Tae Jin rots in jail.

Yes, I understand.

These people worked for you.

At the very least, you should save these guys.

Of course if you betray them, they will betray you.

I seem to remember you liked making deals with me in the past.

Deals are made if people are on an equal footing.

If you answer this one question truthfully, I'll accept you as someone I can make deals with.

Who is it? The one who ordered for Jung Hye to be killed.

Yong Hak Soo.

Who is it? The one who ordered for Jung Hye to be killed.

Yong Hak Soo.

The person that you and your brother call Yong Ahjusshi.

Timing & subtitles brought to you by the Touch Me If You Can Team @ Viki

I'll tell your father that I didn't see you.

Your father has always chosen Jang Joon Seo.

This money... I'm going to follow your father's wishes...

and invest it in Jang Joon Seo.

The relationship between me and Yong Ahjusshi.

Well, we're just close.

I'm asking if Yong Ahjusshi is someone who receives your orders.

Why?

He doesn't, right?

He's not someone you can order around at will, right?

Is that how I look to you?

There's a different power.

Behind Yong Ahjusshi... there's someone with a lot of power.

-If not- -Yong Ahjusshi is just one of Jang family's dogs.

He must have been confused for a moment because his owner changed.

But now, he's following his new owner well.

Okay. I'll take the data you gave me and write Park Tae Jin's Indictment.

-Let me do it with you. -What?

The indictment. Let's work on it together.

Just the two of us?

That's... there's a lot, so it'll probably take a long time.

It doesn't matter.

Okay. I'll organize the data first.

[Viki Ver] jTBC E08 Untouchable -= Ruo Xi =-

Is your father busy these days? I can't contact him.

Yes, he's not feeling well these days.

-Is it because of Gi Seo? -Yes.

Don't you think that the old Gi Seo

is a little different from the Gi Seo now?

He has changed a bit.

Gi Seo, that guy

is coming at me now too.

What could be the reason be?

I'm not sure. I think it's probably because of Joon Seo.

Joon Seo?

Gi Seo has been holding Joon Seoin check a lot lately.

So I think he's been on edge in general about his surroundings.

Joon Seo, too, he's not who he used to be.

They've both become stronger.

Push them towards each other and make them both stronger and more powerful...

Who could it be?

The one who made the puppies into baby tiger cubs overnight?

That bastard.

I'm done. Come take a look.

I can make some changes, right?

Yes, go ahead.

What am I doing?

[ Defendant: Park Tae Jin ]

A picture of Seo I Ra in high school that I came across by chance.

She's become so much better.

Go back to the past, Seo I Ra.

Why? Is there something on my face?

No, not that. What were you like when you were in high school?

What about it?

Well, I'm just curious.

You're actually curious about me?

Were your looks a little different compared to now?

Well, I was younger, so I was a lot prettier then.

Back then, my face shone like the stars.

It must have been the moon instead of the stars.

The moon?

What do you think? I don't think there's anything else to be fixed.

I didn't fix it, I just lost it naturally.

I'm talking about the indictment.

Did I say something? What I meant,

was I didn't fix it. So there could be parts that got removed.

Did I say anything about my face?

You worked hard. I'll buy you food, let's go.

But didn't you take out too much?

I'm hungry. Let's go eat.

Team Leader Jang, is this the only place you can think of for food?

Why did you take out the charge for drugs in Park Tae Jin's indictment?

I told him I would take it out.

Why do you decide that?

A charge for ordering Kang Moon Sik's murder and committing perjury on Squad Chief Yoon Dong Pil's going missing.

Those two charges are more than enough.

What's enough?

That's enough to relieve the desire of

Jung Hye who died unfairly, and Jung Hye's father.

Team Leader Jang Joon Seo. This is an official prosecutor case, you can't involve your personal feelings.

This is the only way to get Park Tae Jin to talk in court.

This is the best way.

Are you certain that you didn't involve any personal feelings?

I'm telling you this is the best way.

Alright. I'll trust your experience this time,

but in the future, as a prosecutor I will not let go if you involve your personal feelings in an official prosecutor case again.

Also, I...

don't want to hide evidence that I found because of my own personal feelings.

Check the inside of the ring.

Team Leader Jang! The judge on the case has been changed out this morning.

What?

The prosecutor has requested for a change to the indictment.

-Attorney. -Yes.

Have you confirmed the changes to the indictment?

Yes.

Do you agree to the changes of the indictment?

Yes.

Prosecutor, what is the reason for the change to the indictment?

After interrogating the defendant, I determined that he made his confession due to coercion.

Also, during the judicial police interrogation,

it was also determined that the interrogation took place in an illegal location.

Then, are you saying that the defendant is innocent?

He did admit to carrying out a murder based on someone's order.

Except it's a different nature, not the current arraignment.

Please begin your questioning of the defendant.

Defendant, you know Joo Tae Seop who served eight years in jail for murdering Ahn Jin Gyeong, right?

Yes.

Have you ever ordered Joo Tae Seob to kill An Jin Kyeong?

Yes.

What was the reason?

Former President Goo Yong Chan...

asked me to find someone...

to kill Ahn Jin Gyeong.

Why would the former President Goo Yong Chan, want to kill An Jin Kyeong?

At the time, former President Goo Yong Chan

had an upcoming election,

but he was used by a woman named An Jin Kyeong who was working for his campaign,

Using candidate Goo Yong Chan's extramarital affair as a bait, he asked for money.

However,

candidate Goo Yong Chan wanted a cleaner finish.

President Goo Yong Chan ordered you to commit a murder, right?

Will you be able to testify to that in front of the press and in the court?

Defendant, this case is already closed,

Joo Tae Seob has also finished his sentence.

So what is the reason for bringing up this case again?

Because of my conscience.

My conscience as a police officer.

Yes.

No, no. You don't have to explain. I understand.

Yes.

What did the higher-ups say?

Do you know what hurts my pride the most right now?

I thought I was fighting with a whale.

But that whale was fighting another whale.

I know now that my back got busted.

What I was to them.

I mean... if Chief is the shrimp whose back got busted between two whales fighting...

What are we? Plankton?

In the end, Chief Jung Yoon Mi is fired right?

At this rate, are we all going to get fired together?

Team Leader, I took an absence of leave under the assumption that I'll come back to work.

What happened to Park Tae Jin?

Goo Yong Chan incident is a huge incident which isn't even comparable to the cases we deal with at our department.

The fact that he's dragging onto that means he made negotiation with the power who will protect him.`

Ah... I'm ignorant. So, I don't understand you if you speak in a complicated way. Make it simple.

It will come out. In whatever form.

Geez... I knew this would happen.

I knew it would come to this when we got mixed up with Jang family a**holes.

Hey, Lee Seong Gyoon, be careful what you say.

Oh, yeah...

We can't talk crap about the Jang family in this sucky Bukcheon town.

Or we get arrested.

Now, now, now. Let's gain our strength.

It hasn't been long since our team was formed. It's too early for us to feel defeated.

Now, have a drink and let's get strong.

Hey, you think I'm a rotten scoundrel, huh?

That's right. That's the way I see you.

Fine. I'm a rotten cop and a materialistic one.

I'm a s***ty cop.

But I'm still a cop.

No matter how many foul descriptions you put in front of me, I just have to have "cop" at the end.

Why? Because I'm a cop.

I'm a cop even if I come back from death.

What is it you want to say to me?

I told my father that I'll become a cop when I grow up.

And my father said, "Go s*** on yourself, you a**hole!"

Of course... I did say that to my father who was being taken away with handcuffs.

I deserved to be cursed. Right?

What is it you want to say, you a**hole?

There's nothing I can say. So, I'm just rambling on, you a**hole!

Why are you doing this to me?

Hey, why did you get fired from being a cop?

Were you collecting bribes?

You a**hole...

- What do you think I am? - Hey, hey, hey!

Hey!

- Hey, Goo Do Soo. - Yes?

Lee Seong Gyoon isn't that type of a guy, man.

He used to be a pretty good cop at our Bukcheon station.

If you know that...

you couldn't even say a word in for me to the higher-ups when I got fired?

Don't act like you're the only upright one.

You're all the same. You had your feet dipped in the rotten water.

Are you drunk?

We're back to square one again.

Why are we always back to square one again?

Is it our fate?

It's not exactly back to square one. We did gain somethings through this.

You survived acting like a lackey to the chief!

Geez...

Don't just spit out whatever you want to say, you a**hole!

What do you know? Unlike you, who has given up and ran away like a bastard,

I'm a hundred times better for trying to change things by staying on, you a**hole!

Geez...

Lee Seong Gyoon. Go away if you don't want to work. We won't hold you back.

Bastards from Jang family is always at the head wherever you go in this Bukcheon town.

Geez...

No, please hold yourself together.

This guy has a rough mouth, but his heart isn't so.

Goo Do Soo, it goes same with you. Go away if you don't want to work.

No, not me, Team Leader.

What, is it because of money?

Tell me how much money you want. I'll get it for you.

Team Leader, I like money.

But I didn't join this team only over money.

You said you were going to be a real police officer.

Was it about taking revenge on your dead wife?

You yourself, aren't a real police officer.

Timing & subtitles brought to you by the Touch Me If You Can Team @ Viki

What the? Why are you washing the curtains in the middle of the night?

I'm going to start doing household chores.

Gosh, I haven't washed this for over two years. I feel refreshed.

Mom, did something happen?

Hey, go bring me the curtains in your room.

Let's live like human beings now.

I'll clean the house properly,

and make proper meals.

Ah, yes.

Where?

Ah, I got it.

Mom, I'm going to go out for a bit.

Okay, come back soon.

Okay. I won't be out late, don't worry.

Don't do anymore.

Ah, this...

This stain...

Why doesn't it come off?

You yourself, aren't a real police officer.

You also think that I'm just too hung up on Jung Hye, right?

You're right. I was like that.

Using the fact that I'm a cop as an excuse, I jumped on it like a crazy man.

But, now I don't know what I'm trying to do.

Am I trying to catch the criminal,

Or trying to vent my anger...

Your real goal,

is to find out Jung Hye unnie's feelings.

Whether she really loved Jang Joon Seo,

isn't that what you want to find out?

Am I not allowed to?

You're really a selfish person.

Why do you only think about yourself?

Haven't you thought that your existence was a misfortune to Jung Hye unnie's life?

If she didn't meet you, she wouldn't have died.

Then, what should I do?

Jung Hye unnie wanted to reveal the truth.

Find the truth that she was too powerless to find.

You can find it, because it's you. And because it's you, you have to find it.

You sound like a prosecutor.

"A judicial police officer must perform an investigation under the supervision of a prosecutor."

Criminal Law code 196, article 1.

Please accept my drink, prosecutor.

Wait, wait.

Thank you.

He's sleeping. He can't answer your call right now.

This incident... Can't you take care of it at your level?

I can control the judges, but the problem is the press.

Call the Blue House again. Tell them to wake him up and let him know what I said.

Let's not cause any incident that's going to make both of us very tiresome.

One step further...

The future Bukcheon will be...

I, Jang Gi Seo, will make it happen.

Please erase Jang Seong Joo, Jang Beom Ho's names from your minds.

The future of Bukcheon will be with me, Jang Gi Seo.

No one in the world can overlook...

It will be the best and the strongest Bukcheon.

I pledge to you!

How is it? I'm better than my father, right?

I heard what happened in the courtroom today.

Well, didn't something that was bound to happen occur?

Even if he's my father-in-law, he should pay for his crime if he did wrong.

Now is not the time to stab Goo Yong Chan.

Even if you did, the knife will bounce back out. It was too premature.

Yong ahjussi.

Please don't try to lecture me anymore.

This is a warning.

It's the VIP.

I'm sorry to wake you up.

During our last presidential election...

There was a promise we had made to each other, right?

Us two... I think it's time to cover up each other's flaws.

Father... you should be punished.

You... Forget it.

If I tell you to forget about it, you should.

Why I became a cop...

I had forgotten that reason for a moment, Father.

Goo Ja Gyeong.

Come here and sit.

News about your father will be on soon.

It's on now.

[ Bukcheon 24 hours ]

Oh, no, what to do with you, Ja Gyeong...

You'll have to take care of your father in jail that was never meant to be for you.

Breaking news. A defendant who was being tried at a court in Bukcheon...

He grabbed attention for making a shocking testimony.

During the testimony, the defendant Park...

He revealed a shocking crime by a politician.

It was revealed that Mr. Park's testimony was all fabricated.

While Mr. Park was working as a detective,

he had told made-up cases that never happened to his colleagues.

And was known to often confuse those around him.

In the end, it was revealed that he was suffering from Schizophrenia. [ Detective Manager Park Tae Jin who was arrested for drug dealing revealed to be a Schizophrenia patient ]

This incident just ended up being an incident you can't laugh at.

Gi Seo.

Let's... talk.

[ What is Bukcheon Expo? ]

Why are you showing this to me?

Put me away with that.

Don't keep uncovering dirty past.

Report me with that corruption.

The amount involved in the corruption is quite big, so I'll get a long sentence.

Why? Do you feel uneasy turning in your father-in-law as a son-in-law?

Then, should I report it myself?

[ Prosecutor General ]

Yes, President Goo.

Hi, Prosecutor General Kim.

Did you see the file I sent you this morning?

Yes, what is your intention for sending me this?

It's a complicated file, so it's hard to understand, right?

I'll make it easy for you and explain to you.

While I was in office, I had tempted to land a world expo in city of Bukcheon.

For the event location, the land owned by Former Mayor Jang Beom Ho was decided upon.

But that was a land that was tied up as a green belt.

After it was decided as the event location, the green belt provisions were released.

Former Mayor Jang Beom Ho's fortune increased to an astronomical amount.

That money is with my son-in-law, Jang Beom Ho's son...

It's under Jang Gi Seo's name.

The problem is when my attempt at securing the expo there had failed...

That land never got reinstated as a green belt land.

How about it? Don't you think the corruption relevant to that would be enormous?

But with this, there will be a problem with you as well, President Goo.

It was under my command, so I'll have to live out a sentence in jail.

All the Jang family fortune would be seized...

My son-in-law will become a beggar without a penny in his pocket.

No. My son-in-law will be same as me...

He'll go in jail for violating inheritance law.

I'm sorry, but why do you intentionally...

No matter how much I think about it... as someone who served as a president of a country...

I felt guilty conscience.

Please turn that over to the police.

But give me two to three days time.

I'll have to ask what my son-in-law thinks.
