welcome back to another tutorial video

in this video

it's going to be about a very special topic called

clickbank and affiliate marketing

so this is one of the most requested videos

when it comes to tutorials

and the goal of this video is to basically walk you to

the platform clickbank

and if you have not heard of Clickbank before

paint you talked about it during the event

but basically

it's the largest digital marketplace

it's where you're able to find information

products that

you know you're

you're able to promote as an affiliate so

affiliate marketing basically means you

as an affiliate

you promote someone else's product

that will be the vendor

and in return

you get a commission out of this whole process

and the great thing about affiliate marketing is

you know if you're just starting out

and you do not have a product of your own

that's when you can

you know become an affiliate

sell someone else's product

which they have spent time

money and you know

to invest in design

creating the offer and things like that

and if that's something that you have not done

then perhaps affiliate marketing

something you want to look into

so what I've done here is

I've just typed in clickbank com

and it brings you to their main page

basically you can see that they have

a lot of different products you can promote

and nowadays

they're starting to come with physical products as well

so that's great

basically if you click on affiliate market please

you'll see different things like

you know games green products health and fitness

home and gardening

self help you know

a lot of different things you can promote

arts and entertainment

business investing

cooking food and wine

so all this information

products are available for you to promote

for free in fact

so the first thing you want to do is

of course go ahead and

create your own account

go to clickbank com and create an account

it's free to create an account

just fill in your information

and it's a very simple step

so I've logged into my account over here

this is just a dummy account

but basically

when you get into the affiliate area

you'll be able to see that

there are a lot of things going on here

but the most important aspects are really your sales

and different information

statistics you have as an affiliate

so in the future

if you are looking to become a vendor yourself

or if you have created a product

you can also post it up on Clickbank

and have other affiliates promote for you

so

let's take a look

so for example if I go to health and fitness

for example

let's take a look at a couple of office

lean belly breakthrough

so that's one

you have identify

which is a very popular green powder company

so this one has

a pretty pretty good sales page very very nice

so before I get into the technicality

of how to choose a great product

I've actually created a very simple presentation to

kind of show you how the process is like

so basically

you have your offer

so this is the affiliate of

let's take Organic Fire as an example

right so identify has their sales page

and a place for people to take

you know to

to buy their products right

so let's say you're interested in promoting Organify

you have an interest in

you know the health industry

and you're looking to promote identifying

because they are very well known company

so what do you need to do

in order to start promoting right so

the most basic of how you promote and affiliate offer

this is one of the most basic and concepts is to create

an opt in page of your own

so this is the lead magnet that pageant talked about

and have what we call a bridge page

to basically bridge customers from your opt in page

to the affiliate offer

so you don't want to be

for example

promoting the affiliate offer directly

because then they will get all the leads

what you want to do is create pages before the offer

so that you can

you know um

collect leads

and essentially build your list along the way

and that's when you're able to send them emails

build a relationship with them

then not only will you be able to promote this offer

but if you have a very targeted audience where

whereby your whole list is people that are

passionate about the health industry

that's when you're able to promote other

different things to them as well

and you will always be able

to build a relationship with them along the way

so what do you want to do is you need to have a page

right then you have a hit line

so for example

if you're promoting identify

it could be giving out something for free

just to capture someone's name and email it will be

five tips on how to lose belly fat this summer right so

give them this free thing

a free template of a blueprint

a checklist or tips

get them to opt into your page

and that's where you're able to build a list right

if you want to find out more about other responders

you want to check that out

and then send them to a page

you know once they've opted in

then you give it

give it to them

like the blueprint that you talked about

it could be a thank you page

a review page

or bridge page

basically to bridge them to this offer

so over here it could be

you want to go ahead

but in the meantime

right so then it'll get people interested

and then that's where you direct them

and you put your affiliate link here

and direct them to the offer

and if they end up buying because they

you know they really like the product as well

that's where you get a commission

right so so that's basically the process

right start with an opt in page

have a bridge page

and you could even have a review page in between

so it's like

I've been having issues with

my kidney and ever since I've tried this product

from identify

yes help improve my health overall

my immune system has been boosted

and if you like to give that product a go

check out this page

right so you are bridging customers from

you know the initial relationship with you

bridging them over to the offer that you're trying to

to recommend to them right

so it's all about building that relationship

so that people actually trust what you have to offer

and are interested

in anything else you have to offer in the future

so it's really important to have these two steps

before you send them to the offer

especially if you're paying a great amount of money

to send traffic to your site right

if you send all the traffic to the Autopage

you know what happens if someone doesn't buy right

then you lose that lead

and you're unable to build a relationship with them

so you want to be able to capture the lead

so that even though if they don't buy the first time

true email sequences

and true following up emails

you be able to then eventually convert them to to buyer

and that's when you know

you get a commission

so you want to think long term over here

so the next thing I like to talk about is

how do you find a great product right

so these are kind of like the 6 recommended steps uh

or a couple of ideas which you can explore um

to find a great product right

so the first one is to brainstorm a niche

so it really depends on your background

what you're passionate in your

your personal experience right

so if you're someone that comes

from the financial industry

maybe you're more comfortable selling

something related to you know

like money or

or finance or trading right

so just think about the niche that you wanna go into

so if you're someone that is interested in gardening

right then gardening is the way to go

cause if you were to build opting pages

or bridge pages

and you were to come up with different headlines and

and copy and shoot videos you

you be better off

you know better offs

promoting something that you're comfortable with

and you're able to do that

without have putting on in too much effort

like if you like gardening

but you you

you know you went to promote

health related products

that's okay as well

as long as you're comfortable with it

you can always do research right

as long as you're giving people value

people will follow you and eventually

listen to what you have to offer

so the second point is to understand your customers

and who you want to serve

so if you want to serve people

for example

in the health industry

that your target audience is

people who want to lose belly fat

so you need to understand the difficulties

the struggles

and you want to craft an offer targeted to them right

the more specific your offer is

the easier it is for people to convert

so think about who you want to serve

and so if you're building a list

of people that is interested in dog training

so then a lot of your follow up emails

content pages

are all revolved around the topic dog training

so if you're comfortable with that

and you know who you want to serve

then it will make it a lot easier

for you to come up with office pages

and content as well

the third is to choose a best selling product

so in Clickbank

I'll show you a shop in a short while

that you're able to see what kind of products are

selling really well

so for products that are doing really well

that's when you know

a lot of affiliates are promoting

and it's probably a good offer

right it's probably converting

and the sales page is really good

there's a lot of different products that

are in line there

there's a whole sales funnel behind product

that's when you know it's a good product

so you don't want to be selling a product that

it's not proven

and you don't know whether if it's good

right and not many too

not too many people are promoting it

then you know you're wasting valuable time

promoting something that is not going to convert

so you don't want to do that

the next thing is to look at multiple products right

complementary products

so in your page you

you could promote

Organify for example right but

people may think in some cases that oh

you're just trying to earn a buck off me right

but if you come from a third person point of view where

you know you recommend multiple products

so for example if you

you have health issues and you you

you have tried multiple products and you

on your page

you recommend a couple products

and you include a couple of affiliate links on your

your page that's when people may think okay

this person understands my pain

and they know the different products that

you know they've tried out and worked and yeah

I'm just gonna choose one of them

and let's give it a go

so you know

think about these different things

so that the fifth point is high commission percentage

so you don't want to be promoting

a product that has low commission percentage

in Clickbank

most of the time products

have 50 to 75% commission

so that's really great for affiliates

that means for every $10 products that you sell

you get 7 50 as commission right

you and you don't have to create your own product

you don't have to create those sales pages and

and you know

you just have to think about the whole process

setting up the bridge pages

so that you can bring people to that offer

so the sixth point is

whether or not the vendor has a persuasive pitch page

or a landing page or a sales page

so if take a look at different products

and if you think that the sales page looks really good

you know

like a lot of affiliates are promoting

and it has a very high commission percentage

so this is probably a good indication

that that's a good product

it's a well thought off product

very well designed

and you know that if you put effort and you work on it

it will convert because it's a good product right

promoting a good product goes a long way because

you know conversions are high

and people are more likely

to stick with the program or product

all right so this is really

the gist on how you can find a great product

so now we're done with the Terry part

I like to just

just really dive deep and go inside clickbank right

so we talked about identify

so we are in no way affiliated to identify

we are just looking at random products

and you just want to take a look at the different

options available to us

so you can see that you can actually filter

and there's a lot of different statistics

that you can filter by

but a good indicator of a great product is actually

there's a couple of things

number one gravity

so this graph over here

so the higher the gravity

that means that the page is converting

there's a lot of people promoting this product

and therefore you'll know that okay

it's a great product

because a lot of people are promoting it

so it's automatically ranked by gravity

so you can see that

this one is very high so that's good

so you want to find a balance between

a good enough gravity

but a not too high competition product because

if there's so many people promoting this product

that means you have to compete

with the thousands of affiliates out there

that are trying to promote the same thing right

so that's one thing to think about as well

so the next thing is there are a couple more indicators

there is the initial dollar per sale

how much you

you know you potentially can earn for the first

you know initial sale

and you know

after that deducting refunds and things like that

so average percentage per sale

so this is 76% commission on average

average rebuild total

so if that's a rebuild

that means there is a product

inside because you know how sales funnel works right

so they have the core product

and they might have other complementary products

that comes along and up sells within this product alone

so think of it

not only are you promoting

and if someone purchases the product one time

they might eventually be upset

by this particular company into buying other products

and you can get commission of those as well so

so as you can see here

back to life

average rebuild total

that means it's

a one time offer product right

it doesn't have

a product that charges customers every month

compared to this average rebuild

so if you're able to convert

and have a lot of customers on average

on a monthly basis after rebuilds

it's a recurring income

so this is something to think about

so let's just take a look at a couple of different

other office over here

I really like this sales page because like

it's very well done

let's take a look at this one

okay so this is a different model but you can see it's

it's pretty old school

but it's doing very well as well

this one is just a different product

all right so it's not as beautiful as identify

but it really depends

the things that you're trying to promote okay okay

wait

okay so I'll just walk you through the standard process

on how to promote the product

and you be able to understand the whole process

so for example

okay right so I like identify

and if this is you

right so okay

I want to promote identify

so what should I do then

first thing is you can see here

identify you just click on promote

this vendor requires affiliate to be pre approved

I see so they need approval for affiliates

perhaps they have too many affiliates

let's just choose a different example

how about Fat Decimator

don't you like the sales page there

so let's see if there's anything else that looks good

excuse me

flat belly fix

this super simple morning habit

okay let's just take this for example right

so one of the indicators as well

if you know

to see if it's really a good product

most of the product vendors have an affiliate area

which you can kind of

leverage on the different materials

that they have provided to affiliate

so it's like resources

which affiliates can use to promote their product

right whether

if it comes to banner ads or swipe files you can use

so all this

you know resources has been provided to you

and you have access and the rights

to use it so you can use it in your emails

if you're sending emails to your customers

you can use it in your sales page

and different things like that

so these are available to you okay

so let's say if I want to promote this product right

so all I need to do is click Flat Belly Fix

I need to click promote

okay yeah so this is just my dummy account and

just key in your account nickname

and click on Generate Hoplinks

all right so this is your affiliate link

so whoever that purchases a product through this link

you will get a commission

right so you want to copy this link

and what you want to do you could kind of test it out

paste and go

so you can see here

that it's automatically redirected to the alpha page

to the affiliate alpha page

so there are a few indicators that show you

or indicate that you know

this page really belongs to you

and any sale that comes through here

will go into your account and you'll be credited

the first thing is on the link

you can see there is hop equals and your affiliate ID

so this is one indicator over here

the next one is

on the checkout page

so this is the sales page

that helps the convert people to buy

so if someone ends up purchasing and clicking on

yes order now

this is where they will make payment right

there's even a money back guarantee

so if you scroll all the way to the bottom

you can see that affiliate is

your affiliate ID

so that shows that

sales that go through this page will be credited to you

so that's one of the ways you can

know that the sale will go to you

so

yeah so all you need to do

is promote this affiliate link

and whichever sales that comes through

will be credited to your account

and how do you look at the stats

depending on the amount of traffic you sent to the link

first you just need to go back to your dashboard

and go under reporting

and you can see here

that under this flat belly fix you can see that

yep because I've opened it up a couple of times

you can see how many people has visited your page

the amount of sales you've generated

and amount of refunds

so it's a very

very comprehensive reporting area

so once you've generated enough stats

there's actually graphs you can take a look

and this is where you're able to monitor your sales

and think about how you can improve

you know when you send traffic to the offer

so if you've been promoting a product for a while

and you feel like no

it doesn't really convert

and you're not doing really well

so there are a few options

right No. 1

perhaps you need to create better opt in pages

target more targeted audience

or maybe try a different product

right so yeah

multiple ways to deal with this and

the most important thing is to think of the long run

and then that's you know

that's really the secret to affiliate marketing

to not give up

to keep going

and as long as you're promoting a great product

you will eventually see results

okay so for example

if you want to promote this on your social media or

you know on different platforms

so you don't want us

you don't want to actually

promote this thing right

this thing looks like a virus

so one of the handy tools you can use is what we call a

URL shortener

so you can actually shorten

hmm

looks like they've disable their service no worries

there's other shorterness yep bitly will work fine

so I'll paste my hop link

and it will automatically be converted to a more

shorter more friendlier looking link

which you can promote in you know

place in anywhere of your platforms if you like to

okay so that's one tip

so what's the best way to implement this

in your website or in your funnel

right let me just show you quickly

using click funnels

I have a demo funnel set up over here

or maybe I'll should use the affiliate funnel

so not to worry

if at the moment you are not with click panels

you can do this with your existing WordPress

website as well

the concepts are the same

you need just a couple of pages to have the opting page

and the bridge page

and eventually leading them to your affiliate offer

right so I set up this

demo funnel using the templates in click funnels

just to show you how it works

so for example

if this is my opt in page right

and if I decided to give a free report

on the topic of my choice

so it could be in the health industry

could be the finance industry

guarding or

you know Fury

part reveals the 10 best ways to train your dog in 2019

right so that gets people

to opt into your page

and that's when

they'll be redirected to a thank you page

a bridge page

or a review page right so

and so what happens is

you want to drive traffic to this page

right so drive traffic to this page

so that people are interested in what you have

to provide for free

they opt in

and then after that

they will then go to your Tanki page

this is just another demo template

and then

as you can see here

it could be as simple as thank you

I've sent you the secret

right it could be in your mailbox right now

go and discover

but take a look at a very important video below

so this you're actually bridging customers and then

bringing them to the offer page

right redirecting people to where you want to go

so I'll just show you a quick example

so for example

if you freely set up your squeeze page

you know what you want to offer for free

and you really set up the Ultra Responder

and things like that and then

you go to your thank you page

and you have a video of you have a post

or if you have a review page

and eventually you have a button at the bottom

you're able to then put your affiliate link in there

for example

if I just come back here and I take my affiliate link

and I'll go to the page

and I'll just replace it with an action that goes to

my affiliate link

right so just to repeat

enter your website URL

I'm just paste my affiliate link here

perhaps open in

a new tab

and then I click save

so if you're on WordPress it's the same concept

go to your page and your button

you'll just want to do

set up a button and do a redirect

and click save

and I'll just refresh my page

so just for example

I am playing the customer role right

you know this is the most basic form of fleamark thing

if you know

something to try on

and as you improve

you'll then notice

you'll be able to create better headlines

have better bridge pages

and eventually have better office you can promote to

so don't forget to create a list of your own

so that you're able to gather leads

and customers along the way

and put them through this customer journey

and eventually provide them with something valuable

that can enrich their lives

so that's really all

it's a really simple setup

of course it takes time to get practice

but this will be a good start

go ahead and create a brand new clickbank account

take a look at the different

products that you like to offer you know

really study the product that you want to offer

and then reverse engineer

create your opt in page

your bridge pages

and you know

do testing right

so test whether this product works you know

and if you want to go the extra mile

you can actually purchase the product yourself

and you know

having experienced yourself

you will then know whether it's a good product

and something that you are comfortable to promote right
