After his third incarceration,
Toulon moved to Germany,

where he remained until
shortly after the war.

Blueprints for this
mansion and bars of gold

were sent from Germany to
the Unites States by Toulon

as World War II turned
in favor of the Allies.

boarded an ocean liner bound
for the United States.

It was during this journey that Mrs.
Toulon

jumped from the ship

and committed suicide.

these four cots were
occupied by women.

Three of them were alive,
but in terrible shape.

and their bodies were covered
