In this tutorial, I'll take a quick look
at how to make our reap tune up,
gape like this one.
Basically it's just a start with a regular gay pattern.
And then you can see I just made
a bunch of segment points on the edges
to give it a republic and
a bunch of internal, internal shape.
I'll just make another one here.
The trick is to use a lot of reference images.
Here we have a nice stretch tap ripped up Reaper.
What I did in fact to see if
sometimes was I just loaded that report in as
a picture and then some of
those grip departs. Then scale them up.
Then I grabbed my Split Line Tool,
just began roughly tracing the ships here.
In some places you can cover it a bit.
Like for instance here,
I'm going to add another segment points here.
And then I am going to cover this part.
If we hide that, then you can see
we trying to have a nice racked up each here.
I am just going to add two more points here.
Drag this in a bit.
We have some more nice spikes.
Then to meal those internal holds dear.
You can either use a circle tool,
then transform it, and then right-click convert to hold,
then copy and paste it and transform it.
Or you could use a polygon tool if we
want to make something other kind of circle,
some kind of a VIP like debt,
then convert to that a whole.
And now I just grabbed my whole,
the first one I made,
then I copy paste.
You can also move the same end points of the holes
so it doesn't have to be a perfect round circle.
You can also add another point and states
that didn't have a perfect oval or circle shape.
Then what bigger holes like these,
I use two polygon and align tool.
Then using the carpool. Some more curve.
Then if we look at a flat texture surface,
then you can see we starting to have a tonnage
here on a material.
And this one didn't turn a whole zoo,
right-click convert to hold.
There we have got holes.
And then whatever shapes you want your holes to be,
just brought them out,
then convert to hold and make your edges as
ragged as you want by adding more segment points.
Curve them. That's basically how I make these cape.
I get some more times adding
all these mini points around,
some spiky point, some cough points.
You can see I have several curved points
and then whole bunch of these internal shifts.
Now to make this where it is, this strings here.
All I did because I first made my shape and I copied it.
And you can see it will separate shapes.
I just move them very close
together as they are almost touching.
And then they had this little line there in
the middle to make
the stairs standard where they are not stretched.
Because otherwise they were stretching and
becoming rounded and I wanted them to look like a globe.
I copied them as pattern.
I selected all four of them.
Then copiers pattern, and here they are.
And then I free so it each one of
equal double fee and then WE,
and then dear so together.
And then I made, and lips February turned to invisible.
And that's what these things are here.
Can see if I make it visible.
They are, they are that just make it keep its shape.
If we have some kind of tier that you want
it to keep the exact shape day to make that tier.
But stretching because the way
it is on the shoulder or hanging,
It's stretched on time,
then just copy as a pattern and opacity
of 0 and then sew it on end to keep its shape like that.
Then to make it as flat,
stick out like that.
As you can see, all I did was
I made internal line of the shape.
Then I tried to enter hole.
Because it is exactly applied.
This, this piece is not shown to anything.
So groups like debt can see otherwise it will be closed.
But because there is a space there,
then it just drops down and open up like that.
And the rest of the cape is basically
a regular who would soon onto the cape.
And these two ports close here
to keep that cape close over there.
Let's basically that.
So that's one way to make our ribcage.
The another good way I found to make her look,
especially with all these little strings
of bits which are impossible to make.
Marvelous designer, which probably
hover easy to make if you have ZBrush.
I don't use it worse yet.
I just made a pin in Photoshop.
I made a texture and disease with
a transparent background and I just apply that to a cape.
If we look at the flat texture surface,
you can see it just one big cape.
This one is tall, one with the realities
and the zone, just one piece.
And then with the texture,
it looks like it's noon up of
at least strikingly bits hanging out of there.
Now let us see what happens if we simulate.
If we move this one.
You can see if there was wind or she was moving.
It would move very nicely.
All these little bit would go flying around
like like real tone material wood.
If we move this one.
It's not going to be of
the same effect because it is one o'clock after all.
One cave of just a texture on it.
But it doesn't look too bad either on it.
Does look at moving a bit.
You could of course do a combination to you actually make
the realtors and then apply on
top of debt or transplant image,
which is maybe a little bit smaller.
And then it has all these extra tone of Betsy around it.
Then you have those real beats moving and to
have this extra hearing things around,
we have now water keep with
more realistic movements because it's separate pieces.
It has addiction on top to give it that feeling effects.
When it moves, it moves now,
now just one big piece,
as it was before,
that one keep a bit,
but it has all the separate pieces
that move on their own.
One more tip for wrapping the kipp.
Some characters which don't have
engagement points just for faster way too deep on them.
You can use EKG on after.
So click the tip of your cape,
then click where you want it to be.
Then do the same thing on the other side.
And then when you stimulate,
those points will be pulled to the front.
And then you can do your swing onto it and it
going to be not dropping down
but fooled around her like that.
One thing about that showing here,
because this is a texture
and have to leave a bit of space around,
like it broadly move it because,
But I lived a bit of space around for those,
those tune up edges.
Then if we showed it to the age,
there would be this empty individual space between,
and it would look rather clear.
I put an internal line on with the texture has February.
And on the other side just show that together.
Then what the clubs the clubs. Here it is.
I just made a transparent image of these clubs.
I mean, with the transparent background.
And then I showed one side, the internal line here.
Once I do internal line here and
had to be farther away from these internal line.
Because otherwise let's see.
Because otherwise it was standing up too much.
So I'm just going to get rid of those those tags.
Then we can see after it by swelling,
these are at a distance.
Each stress let things out properly and
it looks like a Clubs is holding it together.
If you had a longer clubs,
didn't you just have to show
this a bit further inwards
towards here to make it stretched out.
Otherwise, it's going to be lumping around like that.
You can also give you some techniques or
normal map on top of it to give it some more detail.
That's basically how I made this,
keep this tune Kip.
And I hope you enjoyed
this tutorial and see you in the next one.
